A long awaited meeting [P,NK]

Xuro would see the boy's sudden question about weapons. "Oh so he fancies that then!" Xuro thought to himself. He thought he could show off and dazzle him with his eskrima sticks.. "Well... If you have lightning as an element..." Xuro said as he pulled out his pair of eskrima sticks. "You get these babies! My own specialty! They called eskrima sticks. Deadly babies they are indeed..." Xuro infused them with lightning chakra. Sparks had flown through the sticks. He then activated the shocking tips as they produced a shock sound with a small spark of lightning on the two tips. He then threw both of the sticks passed Gilgamesh each one flying passed his side. They flew about 10 meters ahead where Xuro flickered open his outstretched hands and watched as the sticks came flying back at him right into his hands....

The boys keen red eyes scanned over the weapons that now seemed to be beacons of electricity.. they appeared to hold great power. "What do they do? Can you give me an exact run down on them? Because they seem simply.. stunning." Smirking a little at his own little joke, he tensed as they flew past him and then back into the hands of Xuro. They truly did seem like a good piece of kit, perhaps good enough to join the Brotherhood of Light.

Xuro was definitely buying over Gilgamesh recruitment into the Brotherhood of Light through the use of his eskrima sticks. Xuro thought he would do good as a sales man. "Well... What you looking at is the best weapon out there that harnesses the pure raw essence of lightning chakra. It seals itself with the user's chakra so only you can wield it. It produces deadly electric shocks to anyone else that touches it. It can also make an electric field around itself as well as other very "shocking" effects. Perfect weapon for close combat fighting not to mention you can use it like a boomerang..."

Gilgamesh had definitely been bought but he had to make it seem as if he was on the edge; he didn't want to look needy. Rubbing his sculpted jawline a little bit, he'd inhale sharply through his teeth as he spoke, "I don't know, Xuro.. they're good and everything, but what else can you offer?"

Xuro could see boy wanted to join but was trying to grab everything they had to offer. "What else?! Pfffttt! You just have to join and see for yourself. "

Gilgamesh allowed his hands to once more stroke his chin.. it seemed like an interesting place really, but he did not want to make the wrong decision, even if it was for a pair of pretty cool sticks so he'd have to find some way to see how strong this guy was. He hoped he was strong, but at the same time, he hoped he could find a way where they could train but not against each other as he did not want to face the humiliation of losing. "Well then, Xuro of the Bakuton clan.. how about we have a little race to the training grounds?"

Xuro grinned at the statement of a race. Guess that means he's in. Xuro nodded, "Fine, ready when you are..." He then awaited the "go" from Gilgamesh but still standing his own casual position not so frightened at the thought of a race. He was positive not many are capable of Xuro's speed. But he could be wrong. Maybe this cocky Uzumaki kid, Gilgamesh, had something to brag about...

With a few mere seconds of analyzing the boys almost wolfish grin, he knew that he had quite possibly made a mistake. If he was slow he wouldn't be so willing to race against Gilgamesh.. he'd have to use cunning to win this one. Flicking one hand to the side, Persian now moving towards the training grounds at a brief stroll as Gilgamesh begun speaking, "Get ready.. Set.." He paused for a second before exclaiming, "Go!" As soon as his word finished, a golden portal opened before him which he immediately stepped into, appearing from another golden portal that was 50 meters closer to the training grounds. As soon as he stepped out of that one, he'd open another portal immediately in front of it before appearing another 50 meters closer to the training grounds, not too far away from them now. In total, the boy had just traveled 100 meters almost instantly, but of course, he did not wish to play clean against someone who showed signs of being able to beat him. As such, he allowed a projection to play behind him now; one of the houses in the village had just caught fire and was beginning to engulf the others! Cackling as he got to the entrance to the training grounds, he felt like he would win.

Xuro was on his feet ready for the "go" to make sure he would win. Once Gilgamesh shouted "Go" Xuro didn't suspect the boy to cheat but a pompous Uzumaki like that wouldn't allow defeat it was just plan common sense. So Xuro should have suspected that from the start. He probably knew he was out matched against a Jounin but he still challenged him of course Gilgamesh had something up his sleeves. As soon as the sight of the the magnificent Portal appeared and Gilgamesh attempted to enter it, Xuro thought quick and threw one of his eskrima sticks (still infused with lightning) at Gilgamesh aimed for his head. If this went as planned, the stick would fly through the portal behind Gilgamesh and when he reappeared it would follow and hopefully knock him on the head a hit possible of knocking him out. As soon as Xuro threw the stick, he himself body flickered to where he thought he could get a good view to see what would happen. He body flickered about 30 meters close to training ground entrance...

It was thankful for Gilgamesh that the positioning of the portals worked in his favour when regarding the mystery of the flying eksrima stick. It had traveled at an angle, missing his head by an inch before he had instantly entered the other portal, the eskrima stick not making it into the next one but continuing to fly at an angle. He had however, heard the raw static energy and that was a worrying sound indeed. It appeared he wasn't the only cheater out of the two. Smirking a little as he skid along some roof tops, the projection still being there to try and distract Xuro from the goal.
