Mino's/Toru's Chakra Training!

Mino woke up at around noon. This was very unlike him. At latest, he was up training by ten. He looked at his clock and jumped out of bed. He quickly got dressed and left his house for another long day of tedious training. Mino decided that he would train his Chakra today. After all, there's nothing a medic ninja needs more then chakra control. So, he jumped on top of one of the buildings and sat down to begin. He pulled out two scrolls that each had labels on them. One was labeled "Level 1" and the other was labeled "Level 2". Mino placed the first scroll out in front of him and unrolled it. He read the instructions at the top. They stated that this scroll was designed for medical ninja's training. The scroll would summon something if used correctly. Mino wasn't sure what, but the thought scared him a bit. The trick is that the ninja must generate and control equal chakra in both hands for a sustained 30 seconds. If the chakra was generated unevenly in either hand or if the chakra wasn't sustained for the time, then the student would be shocked. If the task was accomplished the scroll would disappear and release the seal on the second level scroll. Mino gulped and put both of his hands together. He generated chakra in both and placed them on the scroll. Immediately he was shocked by some sort of electricity and he lifted up his hands quickly. "I guess this will be more difficult than I thought," He said "well, got to start somewhere."
Mino focused his hands again. This time he concentrated on balancing the chakra over anything else. He kept his hands together for about 15 seconds until he felt really balanced with them. He carefully placed his hands back on the scroll and kept them there for about 7 seconds. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 - ZAP. Mino lifted up his hands again and shook off the shocked feeling. He smirked a bit because at least it was better than before. He stretched his arms and his back and focused his chakra again. This time he closed his eyes and decided to visualize it. His parents always taught him that visualization was key to anything. Even though his parents weren't ninja, he felt that it couldn't hurt to try. He visualized the chakra generation equally on both sides of his hands and in a balanced form. Mino kept his eyes closed as he placed his palms on the scroll one more time. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 - ZAP. Still not even half way. Mino stood up for a second and did some stretching while he thought. "How am I going to help anyone if I can't even pass level 1 of this stupid training?" Mino started to get very frustrated with himself. He started questioning his reasons for becoming a shinobi. Maybe he should of just worked at the store and took over when the time came. Maybe all his time in the academy was a waste. The other students were right. He didn't have what it takes to be a powerful ninja. He'd be a Genin his whole life. Then he had a realization. Medic Ninja had to put up with large stresses everyday. They don't have to time to get frustrated with themselves because if they do, someone dies. He can't complain every time something is a little difficult or else it will always be difficult.
Mino took a deep breath. He figured that relaxation was key. Mino close his eyes and very gradually started generating chakra from as many areas of his body as he could at one. He started focusing the energy into different parts of his body. He started with the top of his head and moved it to his arms and to his hands. Then lastly, he moved the chakra to his feet. He smiled a bit realizing that he was starting to get it. It's about instinct. Mino sat for a bit and wondered if this was the purpose of the training or if this was something just he took out of it. He put his hands together and instantly felt a balance of chakra between both hands. He placed them on the scroll and counted out loud. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8… 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30. A bright green flame appeared above the scroll and shot itself at the level 2 scroll. The string around the scroll vanished in an instant. Mino wrapped the first scroll up. "One down, six to go" He thought to himself. On his way home, Mino practiced the chakra balancing for a bit longer before he went home. "Day well spent."

Mino placed his 2nd medical scroll on the floor in front of him. As soon as he opened it a green glass jar appear on it. The lid of the jar was grey and had a tiny air hole in it. The hole was about half the size of a nostril. Mino looked at the rest of the scroll and saw a needle that was quite thick. He realized that the objective of the training task was to fit the needle through the hole. Mino examined the needle. He looked for any trick parts that might need to be activated to make the needle longer and sharper in order for it to fit inside the jar. He couldn't find any so he then examined the jar. He looked again for any tricks or buttons that could be pressed. He applied pressure to different parts of the jar hoping that the air hole would increase itself in size. Mino had no such luck. He sat there puzzled for a couple minutes examining the situation. He picked up the needle and even tried to just place it in the jar hoping that the size difference was an optical illusion. Mino again found no such luck. Mino thought and thought about what they expecting him to do.
It almost seemed like a day had passed when Mino finally realized what to do. Mino remembered a jutsu called Chakra Scalpel that was used to perform surgeries without breaking the skin because of the focused and precise chakra control the medic had. Mino concluded that this must be what the task was designed for. He needed to focus his precision and grow the length of the needle. At first he was excited, but then he realized that having that sort of precision was near impossible. The amount of chakra control it would take was enormous. It seemed way to much control for a Genin. "I guess this is what it means to be a medical shinobi. I might not be sparring but I'm definitely doing something." Mino grabbed the needle and the jar and placed them side by side. He measured to see exactly how much longer and sharper the needle needed to be.
At this point Mino realized that he wasn't even sure how to focus chakra into the needle. He placed the needle between two fingers like a cigarette and charged chakra into it. The chakra poured out from all ends of the need giving it an aura around it. "Dammit.. this isn't going to be easy if it keeps coming out from all ends so uncontrollably!" Mino yelled at himself and then realized he was yelling at himself and quickly shook it off. Mino charged the chakra again and this time focused all his energy into the tip of it. It grew exponentially, but he had no way of controlling it now. It grew way to long out of both ends and was still dull so it wouldn't fit through the hole at all. Mino stopped the chakra charge and put his thumb over one end of the needle and charged again. This simple trick worked surprisingly. The needle grew out of one end. Next Mino had to control the size of it. He stopped charging so much chakra and it shrunk too much. It took him a few tries but he found a good balance and used all his will power to maintain it.
Next step was to sharpen the needle. This step was easily going to be the hardest. He knew that he could form it if he focused his wind chakra on it, but that skill was too advanced for his level. The medical corps must have known that so they can't expect him to be able to use such a complex skill. Mino thought out loud again, "Okay well if you think about this logically, most medic ninja don't start training until way later as a Genin or as a Chuunin.. maybe they do expect that we can manage our nature by then. What do I do now? I'm out of options" Mino started to give up hope, but he remembered something his brother taught him. His brother went into the forest often and occasionally he'd see a ninja hunting. The ninja would focus the chakra into the arrow and create a border around it using it's natural shape for reference. In this case Mino needed to envision the normal shape of a needle and morph the needle into that. When Mino attempted it, it worked instantly. After a few bumpy imperfections the needle formed directly into the point Mino needed.
The last step of the process was to get the needle into the jar. Mino laughed at this part in the instructions. He just created a needle from nothing.. he could easily put into the hole. Mino stabbed the chakra needle into the hole only to be pushed back. A barrier of chakra formed around the jar except for a funnel that led directly to the hole. Mino needed to get the needle directly into that tiny hole without hitting the sides or else the barrier would appear again. He tried one more time and failed. He tried again and failed. Mino thought for a minute and tried again. This time he touched the barrier on purpose with his hand and put the needle over it. He extended the needle a bit so when he dropped it it had a trajectory plan. When Mino found the right distance and length and sharpness he dropped the needle and it landed directly into the jar. He fell back in relief. "These tests are getting way too difficult. I'm going to need a break pretty soon.. "
Mino picked up the second level scroll and put it back together. He started to walk to the hospital to get his 3rd and 4th level. He has halfway done with his basic training as a Medic Ninja. It seemed like time had gone by so quickly. After all of this, He'd finally be able to start some major training on jutsu. Then maybe he'd try to become a Chuunin.

Toru decided that his break was over and he needed to get back to chakra training. He'd been on break for a couple of days and he needed to get back into the groove of it. Toru walked to the hospital to pick up the new scrolls. He asked the nurse for the 3rd and 4th scroll on the medical training list. "The final ones" He thought to himself as he waited for the nurse. The nurse came back with the two scrolls. The first thing Toru noticed was that they were differently sized then the first two. The 3rd was a big larger and the 4th was a lot larger. Toru felt curious about this. "What could possibly be the reason for the size?" Toru walked to the Kumo training grounds to get started. It was a beautiful day and he had been getting cabin fever training in his house all day. Toru realized that needed to start making friends quickly. He couldn't last as a shinobi or rank up if he just worked alone all the time. Toru just thought he should think about this later.
Toru pulled out the first scroll and instantly an injured bird was summoned. Toru was surpsied for a second, but then realized the task at hand. He had to save the bird. Simple right? Well before he could save the bird or begin healing it. He had to figure out what was wrong with it. Toru took out a kunai and flipped over the blade so the dull side was facing out towards the bird. He gently rubbed the handle against the birds wings, trying to figure out what was injured. The bird squirmed a bit when the kunai touched the bottom of his left wing. Toru looked at the wing and realized that he ha no idea about animal anatomy.. He needed to learn and quickly. Toru ran home, carrying the bird, and ran to his bookshelf. He rustled through his books and found one on basic animal anatomy. He opened to the bird section and looked at the bottom wing. Toru noticed that most of the problems seemed to be around the birds struggle to heal correctly. The bird must of gotten injured and healed incorrectly causing the wings bone to grow back wrong.
Toru charged up his chakra scalpel and went for the birds wing. He was very cautious because he knew how light and delicate bird's bones could be. He gently grazed the bottom of the wing and he heard a tiny crack. The bird didn't really move so he wasn't sure if he did it correctly. Toru pulled out his needle and thread. He used the dull end of the needle to tap and feel the bird's wing. He compared what he felt to the picture in his book. It seemed to be correct but he didn't know for sure. Toru used his medical wrap jutsu and put it over the birds wing. The bird woke up immediately. Does that mean it was done correctly? Toru thought to himself. The bird didn't move a lot. Only moving his head. The animal jumped up and started walking around. Was this enough? Toru had a middy horrible idea to find out if the bird could walk. he grabbed the bird and went outside to the front of his home. He threw the bird up in the air and the gale palm jjutsu. The bird was blown away by the jutsu. As he was falling the bird spread his wings and glided a bit. After a few seconds, he began to flap his wings and flew away completely. Toru did it! He finished the 3rd scroll.
