Eye see you! {P}

Life was boring. Life was boring. Life was BORING!!! Shinji had thought that stepping down from being Tenkage would allow him to find something more in life. But, here he was walking the streets of Tengakure like anyone else with a downcast gaze he unconsciously counted the stones that made up the cobbled road. He was not being very exacting merely counting as he felt that his mind was decaying. Sure, it was nice to have a slight vacation for a while, but now it was dull, just plain dull. Surprisingly he even missed the piles upon piles of paperwork. Currently Shinji was on his way to the hospital. After his work there earlier in the week he found it rather comforting to go back and continue to help out in anyway he could. Otherwise he would be stuck sitting around in some hotel getting drunk, fat and lazy, which were three things he liked to avoid as much as possible. However, perhaps his lonely walk to 'work' would be a bit different today? Who was to know?

Xyxer had been walking through the entwining roads of Tengakure with a rather sullen look on his face. He missed the snaking roads of Kirigakuer but alas that was all within the past.. Something he would have to try his best to forget along with many of his rather rancid memories. Whilst walking he saw the feet of someone he recognised. Looking up from the feet slowly he realised he was now standing a foot away from the old Tenkage, a small smile on his lips as he nodded to him. "What a pleasure it is to see you once more, Shinji. I am sure that free time now oozes from your hands and allows you to further experiment in, what was it.. Storm?"

There it was again, that slightly irritating and often arrogant voice; Xyxer. Glancing up from the cobbled ground he looked over at the former Mist ninja with a rather bored face. As the man spoke Shinji looked down at his hands half expecting some form of goo to be coming out of them. Luckily, there was no goo. However, at the mention of the Ranton element, a sly sleeting smile passed over Shinji's face. "I do indeed have a maddening amount of free time on my hands. Did you know there are almost endless little inns around here?" This was obviously a rhetorical question as the former kage continued on without missing a beat, "As for the storm element, well, lets just say that it is in the past." To prove this he held up his right palm to the sky and in the blink of an eye a sphere about the size of a softball floated above Shinji's hand. Allowing it to float there just long enough for Xyxer to see it Shinji once again spoke up, "So, what have you been up to as of late?" He half hoped the wanderer had some interesting stories. This was what Shinji longed for: change, a journey, and moving on. Alas, for now, it would seem he would have to live vicariously through whatever weird stories Xyxert had, if any at all.

Looking the man over once as he produced a small ball of what he guessed what storm energy or something, he nodded his head a little with a half smile at the question that came next. A few memories cruised through his head that reminded him of his old deeds but he kept the smile plastered on his face, "I have been attempting to suppress my rather primal urges. I visited the ruins of Kirigakure and I am pleased to say that no one else is lurking down there. Other than that however I have not seen much.. It is quite a lonely journey when you travel primarily by the waters, my friend." Looking at the man for another second before he continued, "Since you have finished your.. training of sorts, what do you plan to do now?"

Nodding thoughtfully as Xyxer spoke, Shinji was pleased to hear that Xyxer was attempting to renounce his old brutal ways. He recalled that the former anbu operative had once openly admitted to killing people of Tengakure. Had it been anyone else, well, they would be dead after admitting such a thing. However, Shinji felt an odd connection to the so called Abysswalker and thus had chosen to spare the man's life and let him without a thought-it was a troubling time for Shinji during his kageship. Perhaps it was what some would call friendship.

All the same, Shinji was more than willing to tell Xyxe what he planned to do now, "Well, recently I have been doing a bit of work in the medical realm. Though that has mostly been on a purely conceptual level. I hope to, very soon, move on to looking into various medical augmentations such as these doujutsu implants we both have." To put emphasis on this Shinji gestured to his right eye where the implanted sharingan was now. "Alas, this will require finding some...willing subjects. Wouldn't happen to know any would you?" Naturally Shinji meant this in a joking manner, but it did make him wonder what lengths he would have to go to to further his research into the medical branch of ninjutsu.

As soon as he heard of the man delving into the art of medical practice his eyes widened somewhat. The people that did that were either out to help preserve life to the best of their ability or they were there to create some weird as fuck abomination. Nodding his head with a slight sigh of relief when he heard that the man was seeming to be focusing on doujutsu for the most part. Hopefully no half-sharingan half-byakugan abominations, but regardless he nodded his head. "Willing subjects? Hardly. A dead one that has his eyes on the market? Sure! Do you need a Byakugan, by any chance?"

Shinji could not help but raise an eyebrow at the man: a Byakugan? That rminded him of the hyuga boy he often sparred with...what was his name? For the life of him Shinji could never remember the poor kid's name. All the same, Shinji considered Xyxer's generous offer and then replied in a rather careful tone, "If it is not too much trouble, then, yes. A Byakugan would indeed be helpful in better understanding doujutsu and the like. Would you also happen to have any Hyuga blood handy?" Shinji was no expert on transplants at all, but he did know that when he had his sharingan implanted that the medics had injected uchiha dna into his bloodstream. Those medics had been top notch and no doubt knew what they were doing, so he figured it was rather important. Plus he hoped that the former Mist shinobi had some that he was willing to part with.

The eyebrow of Xyxer perked upwards in mild surprise that the Tenkage had not only accepted his offer of the byakugan, but he had also requested Xyxer to give him hyuuga blood; at least, that was how Xyxer was hearing these things. A faint nodding of his head revealed that he did indeed possess the blood, and a small flicker of his wrist and a disappearing of his hand unveiled a small glass structure, a byakugan floating inside of it in what appeared to be a gel of sorts. Holding it out to the man, a sly smile formed on his face, "You wish for Byakugan and Hyuuga blood both?"

Deaf. Yes, that was probably it: Xyxer was deaf. Perhaps it had been something in his travels that caused this, but Shinji did not care to speculate as he was pretty sure when he asked if Xyxer had Hyuuga blood as well that he meant it. All the same, Shinji did not want to be too rude nor did he want to draw attention to Xyxer's assumed deafness. So, he simply responded to Xyxer, "Yes, I would indeed like both the blood and the eye. If it is not too much trouble that is." If Xyxer allowed him Shinji would grab the vial that held the singularly white Byakugan eye and quickly stow it in his right pants pocket.

Allowing the man to take the small container from his hand, his other hand rummaged around inside of a small duffle bag he had been carrying with him to store his valuables. After a while of looking at different syringes he pulled one out and handed it to the Tenkage, a small white sticker on it with the word, "UCHIHA" scrawled on it in black, of course that was merely a precuationary method as most people tended to want Uchiha DNA, so if they believed they were stealing Uchiha dna but in reality were stealing Hyuuga DNA it'd certainly be a funny event but regardless Hyuuga DNA was inside that syringe. Closing the duffle bag as the exchange went down he spoke once more, "You'll owe me for that.. I only received an eye from you; I give you an eye and blood."
