Alice laughed "Yea if a rouge tried to come into Kumo uninvited, they are gonna get a little brutality. My four pets also don't get toys so much, or get to play so this was a good time for them, I could barely hold them back from attacking him when I first saw him, they were about to come out if you had not come in Kuro sensei!" Alice said smiling not feeling any remorse for what she had done to the body of the once immortal rouge ninja. It was his fault for being dumb enough to try and come into a village uninvited, that was like going into someone's house uninvited and saying "Sup." It was very rude not to mention illegal and punishable, whitch was what Alice was doing, punishing them for their rudeness.

Alice noticed her sensei's eyebrow twitch. She was very observant with things thanks to her byakugan, and her childhood with her aunt who was always trying to catch up to her when she snuck out. She hoped her sensei was not mad about her learning to manipulate the shadows, she knew some people could get really mad when their techniques or styles were copied, but she was his student after all, and students usually learned some the same techniques as their masters. She doubted her sensei wanted everyone to be able to use darkness like techniques, because he had worked hard on creating his ability, and it made him unique from all other ninja in the village and in the world as well. Alice wondered what signature techniques she could create to make her more different from all other ninja in the world, she wanted something she could claim for herself, and that people would know that if they saw damage from the technique that she had done it. Sure she had the shadow mastery now, but she had gotten that from Tee, and it was a nara technique so there was bound to be at least one other person with the technique in the world. There was also her beloved earth grudge fear technique, even though it was rare for someone to have the technique, it still had been done before in the past by a few ninja. Alice would have to have a session of thinking to figure out what she could do to differ herself from everyone else more. 

She relaxed when her sensei chuckled, thankful he was not mad at her for gaining the technique. She was surprised he was actually going to teach her a weaker form of his darkness, but she was happily surprised. "Wow really sensei that means a lot that you trust me to learn a form of your signature ability. I do need some practice with this manipulation though, I only was able to witness Tee use it maybe once, before he...." She said her smile fading to a sad grown for a split second before she forced it back into a soft smile. "Wow you've been busy! The legendary eternal sharigan, and senju abilities? Your work fast, aren't those like the clans that use those close the the sage of six paths?" Alice and everyone had heard tales of the sage of the six paths who created ninjustu, and the tails beasts, he was like the Jesus/God/Allah/other saviors of this world. Now all you need to do is gain his weird eyes and you could become a sage of the six paths." She said laughing warmly. Her mouth dropped when he told her he was short term kage. "Whoa you work REALLY fast, I can't believe you are in term kage, that's awesome!  Alice had not heard anything about there being an in term kage so this was news to her. Her sensei also mentions another guy named Yaju, Alice had heard his name before a couple times, he had won the chunin exams along with her and deme way back when, he must have been pretty busy working his way to in term kage so fast. That reminded Alice that she also needed to start doing missions so she could go up in ranks in the village. "Wow, that guy was in my chunin exams he placed with me when it was over! He must also work fast. Reminds me how lazy I am." she said grinning. Her hair blew slightly as a tendril of darkness whizzed past her to the body of her victim, taking a pouch on his body Alice had forgotten to look through. Alice cried in her head, but stayed clam on the outside, as there was probably money in there, and Alice loved money, and was pretty broke right now. She had to get better at this looting thing, and there were few things Alice loved more than money! 

Alice got really excited when her sensei he had a present for her, Alice loved getting free stuff like anything free was already 50 percent good to Alice. Maybe it would be a pony, or some food, or maybe even a pony made out of food! Instead he pulled out a mask, Alice liked masks too, she did have four sewn to her back, so she had to like them a little bit. She took the mask in her hands and looked at it, to her it had define grotesque beauty, that she had never seen before. It was a incredibly unique design to it, it looked like it could give a small child nightmares that only counselling could help them get over. She smiled "it looks beautiful, where did you get it?" she said and placed it on her shoulder, as it was far too big for her face. Her shoulder would un stitch and stitch the mask to her shoulder, and the she would the threads move the mask across her body until she stopped it in the center of her back, in between all four of her masks, it was the perfect center piece! "Oh why does it need to be attached to me? Does it do something cool?" She asked excited.

Kuro grinned as she put on the mask, not on her face, but still. That mask was far more than it seemed, even if she hadnt noticed it yet. "That mask is precious to me. I made it using my own chakra, ya know?" Fuck, that was going to become a verbal tick, wasnt it? "It uses the chakra I imbued within it to enhance your abilities. I doubt you want to hear the scientific shit, but I could tell ya if you want." He slightly hoped his student would take to science as he had, but it wasnt that large of a deal. He didnt expect to teach her everything he knew, maybe some, but not all. He wanted to teach her, but he wanted her to become her own person, and with her own powers. He didnt want to teach her Excussum yet, but apparently she circumvented that, not that he was angry. No, if anything he was proud. Using any means necessary to gain power, that was a stunt worthy of his apprentice. Just more evidence why she was the perfect student. Seriously, she had no qualms about half the shit he did, she was obviously intelligent, loyal, and had her own ways of power. It didnt hurt that she looked hot, but that was mostly for appearances. It wasnt about her looking good to him, it was about her looking good to others. She didnt look like a cutesy little girl who was innocent, but she didnt look like a lazy buffoon either. She had that aura that reminded him of himself, one of power and skill, it just screamed "dont fuck with me!". To him, it was just fucking awesome, having a student emulate him in some manners, but keep her individuality at the same time, that is. If people copied him without his permission, said people died. He didnt mind Alice doing so because he planned on teaching it to her eventually, and she kept her own strengths as well. He briefly pondered if she would be as good as him with swords, cause if so, it would be fun as shit. 

Kuro grinned at her. "How about a little spar, eh? I dont know about you, but its been months since my last real fight. Last fight I had was... well, you just saw it, and it wasnt exactly enthralling." He deadpanned. "Id like to see how good you are with a sword." Darkness grew in his hands, spinning, seeming to gather darkness from the air, almost like a rasengan being made, but pitch black. In mere moments he had a sword in each hand, in his right he held a large sword, easily weighing eighty pounds, due to the heavy hilt and wide blade. It was a claymore, but much wider, and a tiny bit shorter, being about five feet tall. The blade was at least four feet long, and half a foot wide, with an inch depth to the blade. All in all, it was large, and heavy... well, heavy for people who didnt casually punch bijuu in the face. In his other hand, a simple katana. It was a decent four feet long, one sided blade, and two handed handle. He tossed it to her, knowing even if she couldnt lift it before, which was doubtful as the katana barely weighed ten pounds, then the mask would easily enable her to lift even the eighty pound blade. He grinned at her, not the sadistic one, but the calm and serene one he almost never wore. Swordsmanship was in his blood, and in his very soul. Kaguyas with the bloodline often used bones to form swords, though rarely anything larger than a katana. He, however, easily had the strength to use large and heavy as hell swords, which he hoped to get his hands on one or two of the legendary Seven Shinobi Swords. All Kaguya were taijutsu masters. Kuro was not. He was a kenjutsu god. By god, I mean purely in natural talent. Most would say this was arrogant to assume, but well... he had a right to be. Though he had not really done anything with his mastery of swords, he knew he was far better with swords than with taijutsu. He just never had a chance to show it really. 

One thing he DID want to learn though was space time. He knew the physics of it, but not the jutsu style. Why? The physics werent too difficult really, you just needed to learn what spacetime was like, which was simple. Using chakra to manipulate it, was not simple by any means. He would do that later though, he figured, after his spar. "Oh, before I forget, any preferences on what type of blade you want to use? I can make anything I can think of." Technically, it was limited to fifty meters, but if she had the strength to lift that, she probably didnt need to train with him. Unless the sword was, as he called them, a needle sword. He called them that, because the blades of those swords were so thin they were practically oversized needles. That included any straight sword which didnt have a decent width of blade. Katanas were out by default, seeing as they were slashers rather than stabbers. He didnt know the actual terms of many swords, but that did not affect his efficiency with them. Frankly, he didnt know of any sword he couldnt use. That wasnt to say he couldnt use some better than others, as the style sword he had right now was by far his favorite, especially when dual wielding. He wouldnt dual wield right now though, he doubted Alice could handle it. Not because of a lack in faith of her, but because only a foolish teacher would use their strongest style to spar with their students, unless said students were actually so close to their level they were practically even. Kuro was reluctant to say that Alice was not, mostly out of pride. He was proud of her, damnit! Why else would he give her his favorite mask? 

Kuro turned to the side and stared at a spot on the ground, thinking of a prize if she managed to learn what he wanted. He grinned as it came to mind, even though it wouldnt last. It would certainly help her in a fight too. As he stared at the ground, a small tree grew, around four feet tall, but with a single simple fruit growing from it. The tree itself was black, making it look rather ominous. He figured she might like to see his Mokuton in action. "If I think you deserve it, Ill give you this fruit after the spar." He didnt explain what the fruit did just yet, but it should be obvious it was not an ordinary fruit, from its multicolored nature, beyond strange shape, and the fact that he just grew it with his fucking eyes. Yeah, definitely not a normal fruit. Kuro grinned, knowing he was still faster than her without his mask. With his naturally insane speed, combined with the hogyoku, and his two dojutsu, he was damn fast. If he used his Mangekyou jutsu... well, he wouldnt now, because that would just be rude. You dont use a cannon to kill a fly. Oh, sure, he respect Alice and everything, but his Mangekyou were powerful as shit, enhancing his reflexes and speed to insane degrees. Needless to say, using it against Alice would be just cruel. While he was normally a little cruel (understatement of the century), this was his student! He wouldnt do that to her in a little spar... yet. Eventually he expected her to be able to deal with it in a while, but not right now. If he used it right now, it would only be detrimental to Alice's growth, which was certainly not worth it. Of course, that didnt mean he was going to go easy, oh no. She had the ability to handle it, so long as he didnt do anything too horrible, which he wouldnt. His byakugan deactivated, but his Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan stayed. It slowed him down enough that she could track his movements, but not enough that they were even. He wanted to see if she could deal with a faster and stronger opponent after all. That being said, he was certainly not going to use his strongest styles, just normal strikes instead of his usual attacks.

Alice smiled having something made from her sensei's very own chakra meant a lot to her. It showed to her that he trusted her and had faith in her, even if she did not have any faith in herself. The mask also gave her a power boost and she feel it bonding to her body, and more power being coursed through her because of it. The mask gave her slightly more confidence in power now.

When her sensei asked her to spar, she got slightly scared. He was far stronger than her, and she did not want to get beaten too badly or else her small amount of confidence would go right down the shitter.  She also didn't want her sensei to be ashamed of her if she lost fast and hard to him in the spar, and then decided he didn't want to teach her anymore, that would really hurt Alice. She also did not want him to think she was a coward. She also knew the only way she was ever gonna get better was by fighting others now, seeing as she had fully stocked on hearts. She took a deep breath and nodded saying "Sure, Sensei I'd love to spar, though I doubt I'll be any good with swords. I've never used them." She said and caught the katana in her hand. She guessed her sensei was really good with swords seeing as he had a preferred type. Alice looked at the katana, holding it in bother her hands for a good feel of it. It was very light so she learned she could hold it in one hand, she contemplated forming a sword in her other hand, something long so she could strike without risk of being hit by her sensei. When he asked if she wanted to change the shape she decided to ask. "Umm yea maybe make it a little long, more of a long sword shape would be nice." She said uncertain, though she guessed fighting at a distance would be best. 

When her sensei grew a tree from looking at the ground she was utterly shocked. "Holy shit you can grow stuff with your eye??? That's amazing Kuro sensei! What does the strange fruit do?" She would ask still astounded. The powers her sensei had were more insane than she initially thought, ans she already thought they were beyond anything she had seen before.

Few things could withstand Kuro's anger. Far fewer dared to try. Thankfully, he was not angry at Alice, more at himself. The fact was Alice should know how to use swords, being his apprentice. He simply hadnt taught her anything, which enraged him, though not nearly as much as it should. If anything, Kuro hadnt been taught just how to torture, kill, or even manipulate people with words so that they would do whatever he wanted. He taught himself, and for his apprentice to do the same just felt right. Frankly, he was better without teachers, would Alice be the same? He couldnt expect her to be a clone of him, but she was damn good by herself. Teaching her may only hinder her growth, as he had never taught before. There was a moment where Kuro questioned it all. His life, his experiences, his emotions, everything. Each event which had led to this defining moment. The moment where he realized who he was. He wasnt human. Never had been. He was something... different. His mind, his powers, none of them were that of a human. He was a demon. But... Demons could be angels as well. They were the same thing, only different affiliation. So what was he? An angel, for all his attempts at good deeds, or a demon, for all the horrors he had caused? The answer was simple, but it was hard to imagine. For all his talk of knowing who and what he was, he was just slightly less confused about it than most people. Most people pictured the world in black and white, but he saw gray. It was an interesting though pattern, but not necessary.

Angels, regardless of the type, looked, well, angelic. They had that aura around them, the aura that spread peace and serenity. Demons were far different, yet similar. Demons held an aura that spread hatred and anger. Kuro was different than both. He spread fear and yet... hope. What was he? A fallen angel? No certainly not, he had never been "good" before, it was a recent thing. A risen demon? No. He was something entirely separate from either, yet conjoined between both worlds. That moment, he realized that are far more spices than just salt and pepper. Far more colors than black and white. He was separate, yet not. An interesting thought for any man to realize. He was human. It pained him to admit it, but he had flaws, he knew he did. He couldnt live forever (yet). He didnt have wings, even though he could easily grow them. He was human, but with the powers of both a demon and angel. No. He had the powers beyond angels. He could create and spread life, even if it eventually faded. Wood was living, so it was no surprise. What did that make him? A god? No, certainly not. Maybe the type of god he didnt believe in, but not an all powerful one. One who was meant to govern a certain domain, sure, but not the full package. After all, he couldnt shift reality to his whims. Only... darkness. Was that what he was? Darkness incarnate... well, it had a ring to it. No, he was what he spread. He was fear.

His smile fell into a neutral position. His apprentice didnt know how to use a sword. He couldnt teach her though. His style of swordsmanship was far different than most. Most used the swords as weapons, instead of true powers. Powers which could be shifted, turned, manipulated. They didnt understand how useful a sword was. They picture it in only certain uses, they never thought to branch out from the norm and conquer the art of swordplay. People rarely did. Kuro was utterly different. His entire style revolved around being insanely different. If he wanted to, he could use his sword as pretty much anything. Tie two together, you get giant nunchucks, he knew, as he had done if before. That was why his darkness was so deadly. Moving at such speeds made him incredibly dangerous, being able to withstand such force was a huge boost. The fact was, if anyone else had his darkness, they wouldnt be half as deadly as Kuro. It was the fact that he thought outside of the box that made him deadly, even with nothing more than a kunai. 

"The fruit itself gathers chakra from the air, or any chakra it touches. Over time, it gains enough power to enhance your capabilities by the amount of chakra it gathers. As soon as you eat it, its chakra goes to wherever you want, meaning you get to choose what it enhances. I would probably use chakra and speed honestly, with them being the most powerful aspects of my fighting style." Kuro explained. "Ah... nevermind about the spar. However, I do want you to go and find a man called Yaju. He should be able to spar with you better than I could. Oh, and keep the sword." Kuro grinned at her, before turning away. Was it wise to leave his apprentice in the hands of Yaju, a man he hadnt known that long? Probably, considering he was an absolutely insane man who trusted no one unless they proved himself, and Yaju had somewhat proved himself. Barely, but still enough for this. That, and the fact that he trusted Alice to rape the poor brat if anything happened. Those tentacles were hilariously deadly. Hopefully, just the mention of Kuro being Alice's teacher, if barely, would get Yaju to not try anything. If he did, Alice would get a new toy. Even Kuro had to feel a tiny bit sorry for the poor bastard who was still alive when Alice's tentacles got to play with them.

Kuro sighed as he walked away, knowing Alice was truly his perfect apprentice. The overly large sword in his hand vanished in wisps of smoke, which outright baffled anyone who saw. What they didnt realize was that he simply let the sword's physical form vanish. It was a simple concept, really. While maintaining the darkness's physical form took no chakra at all, he could still just will it to go back to normal, and it had done so. After which he simply manipulated the remaining darkness into wisps, looking very similar to smoke. It was a mere magic trick really. Even so, it looked impressive if nothing else, giving form to something, then taking that form away. He was darkness itself, and he could do anything with it. Except perhaps shift spacetime, but that was going to come later on. He seriously wanted to do it. Manipulating spacetime would make him insanely powerful, considering how much he knew about physics. Unfortunately, something ridiculously idiotic was blocking him from doing so. As if there werent enough limits already, honestly.

As Kuro headed towards his lab, well now that Misaki knew about it, "their" lab, he realized he felt... strange. Not the peaceful feeling he felt before, but very similar. It was a mix of the feeling he had when he used his EMS, and a mix of the feeling from Mokuton. Odd, they had very little to do with each other except origin. Most didnt know it, but Kuro had made it a point to learn as much as possible. The mere fact that they had similar origins was so hard to find out it was ridiculous. Then agian, Kuro could find out anything if he tried hard enough. It wasnt an arrogant statement for him to make. With the right connections, logic, and a bit of grunt work, he could find out everything he needed. Half the time by simply asking, but still. There was no doubt he could find shit no one else could. That was why he knew of the one word which tied the hate and hope together. Both had begun with peace. Not the kind of peace every fool things of, but the kind of peace which kept the world in balance. Both light and dark, it was the rinnegan. The legends he had managed to uncover described a being with more power than anyone else, even bijuu. That alone was... frightening. Even to Kuro, it was impressive. Kuro had no doubt that he could take down most bijuu, if not all, but if all combined into the juubi, no, he wouldnt even attempt it. Kuro's thoughts drifted off, but as soon as he looked in the mirror when he got to the lab, he paused. Then a loud shout was heard throughout Kumogakure.

"HOLY FUCKNUGGETS, IVE GOT THE RINNEGAN!"

Alice frowned when her senei's smile fell into a neutral position, she really did not want to disappoint him as not only was he her sensei, but also because he was one on the only people in the whole village she actually enjoyed talking to. If only she had payed attention when they had learned about kenjustu in class, then she would not be in this predicament. Alive wish had not slept as much as she did during class, but it had been soo boring. School just was not a good place to learn how to be a ninja, at least that is what Alice thought. Sure it had helped learn the basics like the elements and chakra usage, but most of that stuff could be taught at home. A school setting was completely different then what ninja wold be in for the rest of their lives. Ninja learned from sparring and combat, not tests and papers. Alice had grown up seeing powerful hyuuga taijustus and strong ninjustus, it was only natural to be unfamiliar with sword play. It did not make Alice feel any less bad for not knowing some though.

Alice listened to her sensei explain the magic fruit. It sounded too good to be true, their had to be some kind of catch, but Alice could not think of any. Alice knew she would only eat the fruit if it were a last resort, and she was still unsure if it would help her like it did her sensei, their bodies were very different after all. Alice frowned when her sensei to forget the spar, feeling like she had disappointed him and was too weak and new to swords to spar him. She really wanted to impress him. She perked up when he said Yaju, as that had been one of the others who had won the battle royal along with her. How did her sensei know him, and also trusted him enough to spar with her? She had heard he was quite feral, and risen fast through the ranks. Why would someone like that spar with her? Did he trust her and have faith in her enough to spar equally with someone like Yaju? She smiled softly and blinked when he said to keep the sword. Alice had no idea that her sensei could just create weapons that would stay forever, that made him even more amazing. "thank you sensei!" she said warmly, and the watched him leave. Alice frowned a little wishing she could have spent more time with her sensei, but she understood he was busy, she hoped to get stronger so he could actually spar her next time. "Good bye sensei Kuro!" She yelled as he walked away, smiling to herself. She would wait until he faded out of her byakugan vision, before picking up the remains of jashin's corps, and his pendant with her shadow tendrils, and creating a sheath from her shadow around her waist to place the katana in. She also stopped by the strange tree and plucked the fruit placing it in her one if her ninja pouches so it would be close if she ever had to use it to win a fight or survive. She had a lot of collected bodies stored up, so she decided to bring them for money now, so she planned to go home change her dress and head to the kage building, maybe she would see this Yaju there. As Alice left she felt something change in the air, as if something big had happened to someone she knew, something that would change them forever.
