Chapter 1: Versus 2: Leader and his Ninja[NK;Spar]

And so it came to pass that the young man went dormant inside of his dull body. As he raced through the forest he would begin to see the mountain of the village as he jumped up each slim tree that sprouted from the large mountains surrounding his land. As he would make it to the top he would find himself a few thousand miles from his village. A grin came over his face as he would jump down from the mountain and hit the ground. His feet landing perfectly as he was now in the forest that developed around the mountain, the dark side of the forest. The Night's illusion, as they called it.

This day, Evil Kozai had taken a break and given his good side a day to go do as he liked. He strolled out to the borders to think. He saw a sign that said "The Night's Illusion: enter at your own risk." Oh, so he was about to enter this forest. Well, it would be good to go up the mountain and see what was up there. However, on his way up, he saw... that man.... "Oh, Lord Near... you're the last person I expected to see here. Have you returned from your travel?" He would remain on his guard, as Near was not called "the Arrogant" without reason. He noted that this place sprouted so many trees because of the abundance of underground water. That was useful, because this would be a nice defense against any attack.

With his first step Near, or as stated by the man that currently controlled the body, Pride sprinted through the forest. His footsteps causing the grass to back away as he passed. As he ran through the forest he would recall the reason why the forest was originally named the Night's Illusion. The darkness that crept over it and its evil visions of things to come. The forest played on the mind of the beholder and allowed him to see what he wanted to see. The forest itself, surrounded by the mountains, would only get bits and pieces of the holy light from the sun, in noon. The light allowed the forest to be more viewable. A beautiful forest would be seen for that hour of the day, but the second the sun disappear the illusions would play on the mind once more. This seen as Pride first entered the domain of the forest. His vision of the village occurred.

Near would make it to the top of one of the large trees, he saw his surroundings, mountains and trees with no sign of the actual village. "God dammit... who creates a stupid ass forest like this..... an idiot i say!" pride would say as he flipped off of the tree top and back on to the ground. With that he would encounter a young man. His look was similar to that of the Iwagakure ninja. Pride, making no sound, scanned him. His lips would part as he thought of a way to pass the time till noon. "Follow me.... if you dont want to die." Pride said as he jetted off to the left of the young boy. Around a tree and over a river he would find the grave of Iwa. A grave that meant nothing and was named after the villages nickname as a way to say that iwa was to fall soon.

As the leader swished by, ordering him to follow, Kozai was stunned. The leader left him in shock and awe. Such speed and power he had never seen before. He zipped off after him as quickly as he could, being sure to leave nothing behind. He went around the tree and over the river and found some.... grave-type thingy-majigger? What could this be? "Um..... my lord... what purpose does this serve? Is something going to attack?"

The boy listened to his superior and followed him to the mark of hell. This grave stone, mad by a man who had gone mad in the Night's illusion, was made of stone and metal as it made a dial clock, much like the ones used in the ancient times to tell time. The clock foretold the time the village would fall to its greatest enemy. But due to the lack of sun the time could not be seen. Looking up at the boy pride would smile and begin to walk around the grave. As the boy stood directly in front of the pointed end of the dial, Pride would make his way to the boy and simply walk pass, still tracing the outer core of the grave. He spoke of the grave and just why it had been set there and how a person could find out the date and time of death of iwagakure.

"The Great Grave of Iwagakure... its weird that we call it our grave when we have yet to die in battle... right? Wrong this grave has a type of foretelling power that counteracts with the illusion of this forest. Its like a safe haven... but its been told in stories that this place can make a human go crazy just as much as the forest. A simple iwagakure ninja can not take the fact that their village is to fall... that they may fall in battle... and that they may die a brutal death... When the sun marks this great forest.... then and only then will the grave tell the time of death. Now is your chance... boy.... to show me... Are you a simple Iwagakure ninja... or are you one of my elite.... Kozai." Pride would say as he would stop at a point that would meet the eyes of the young boy, directly across from each other. The Diameter of the grave being 10 meters alone, made a good distance between the two Ninja.

Pride would stare down the boy as he uttered the words "Attack if you have the guts" he would wait for the first movement of his young ninja, as something began to grow around him. His chakra began to fluctuate around him and a being, with a hue of purple appeared. This being appeared as an angel, its wings large and his eyes covered by his hands. This being would continue to create itself as Pride just stood. The Being... the angel was soon completed, uncovering its face it showed its menacing face as its fanged teeth were drawn and its evil looks as if it wanted to rip the young boy to shreds stared the ninja down. As pride would slowly press his hands together, his prays to the lords would reach out just like his chakra would fill the area in the gust of wind. His target a simple one, but had he of moved even that simple inch toward his god and father, Pride, he would certainly return to that inch and wave so long to it.

When they got to the grave, evil Kozai took over. He would take it from here. "Nothing lives forever, Lord Near..... even gods lose worshipers and fade from history into posterity." Then, the leader ordered him to prove himself, to attack. However, at the same time, it appeared that he had stirred up some kind of heavy wind that would prevent his movement. Hmmm, quite an obstacle indeed. This wind was only a gust, however, and by definition was only brief although strong. So, after the wind stopped, Kozai grinned. "I see.... an angel, huh. Very well." He would make the water shoot from the underground aquifer, which was a few miles long, and create two pillars of water ten feet high and 2 feet wide on either side 1 meter of him. He would then fire water bullets 13 mm wide and 6 inches long at the Leader, 5 from each pillar. As they traveled through the air, they would change into ice. These were very sharp and would do piercing damage if they hit the leader. At the same time, he would prepare water just under the ground behind the leader if anything went wrong. If the ice shards failed to hit Near, Kozai would make the shards split in two and propel each half 45 degrees to the left and right of their original direction. It was thus that he would cover the area in front of him with attacks.

The leader seemed to be either too proud too attack, or maybe he was simply lost in thought. The middle part of the ice shard field impacted with the leader, puncturing his torso and limbs in random areas, causing significant bleeding. Immediately before impact, Kozai swept his arms across his torso and water would sweep in front of him, which would block any counterattack that Near would make. At the same time, a bullet of water the size of a volleyball would come forth from the ground about 3 ft behind Near and fly at his back while freezing into ice. So, at this point, the ice shards hit the leader, and the bullet of water is coming towards his back. Also, a swirling shield of water covers Kozai's front and sides.

Anyway as the young boy was able to hit Near with most of his attacks, Pride would feel the tingles of pain in his host's body. As Pride would begin to laugh he would stumble back a bit only to activate his first of many powers. His body began to vibrate as a pair of wings grew on his back, they were certainly fake and see through but that was not the point. The wings that had been made of Thunder chakra were perfect as he would jump up to the sky and the first thing that occurred to him was his time. Pride would notice the appearance of a ball of ice that had been aimed for his back. Laughing to himself pride would once again clap his hands together shortly after the use of the needed hand signs, and would use the powers of the wind to push the ball of ice down to the ground. A simple maneuver as the kage was simply playing with the boy, as all his powers were to strong and he feared killing one of his followers. And slowly the mans hair would grow, but would not reach its full capacity just yet as he spoke. "Try not to kill me here young boy.." He would say as he held his chest, the pieces of ice that fell from his punctured wounds in his body would bother him a tad bit. At this point in time Pride was safe on his own floor about 44 meters high in the sky, over the ground and over the head of the boy.

Kozai watched, partially in awe, and partially in apprehension as the village leader ascended into the sky. What power.... the power of flight. Fortunately, the leader was still within range of both his Water Sky Convergence, and his Toketsu Suibun. He would make 16 one-inch long spines that would appear 3 inches from the leader's body: 3 to attack each limb and 4 at his face, intentionally aiming for Near's sensory organs. He knew that he couldn't kill Near, even if he tried, so he might as well try his best. If he missed, he would stop the ice to prevent it from crashing into himself, and maintain his shield, forming it over his head as well.
