A Trio of Genin

Koaru's eyes widened as he realized the earth under Kenzo was cracking. It had escaped his mind that the woman with the bodacious body was still the mother of the fiery ant of an Uchiha that stood in front of him.  As the earth continued to crackle and crumble Koaru redirected his attention to Kenzo. His Moringan could see every nerve cell in the body. The scariest part of Kenzo's nervous system was the extreme fluctuation of the nerves in the hypothalamus in the Limbic system. These were the parts of the brain that were responsible for anger and aggression. Koaru knew of Kenzo's intent to attack as soon as he thought of doing so. Koaru had time to react from the moment he saw the electrical pulse within Kenzo's brain travel from his head to his legs, which he would soon use to launch himself at Koaru. Koaru immediately reacted.

Koaru had seen the attack in time, but kenzo was as fast as ever; the pint sized shinobi was in front of Koaru just as Koaru turned his head to determine where he would flee too. Koaru only had time to crane his neck before he was punched. The attack did not hit head on, but it was enough to toss Koaru off his feet, spinning in the air before hitting the ground next to where Jason was. Koaru got up and hid behind Jason, holding him in place by the shoulders. Koaru trembled as he heard Jason speak to Kenzo. It was as if Jason did not see Kenzo just punch Koaru. Koaru continued to listen to Jason make conversation so casually.

"No...No way. Is this crap normal to you Jason?!"

"what? you mean going easy on me or on the perv?" Jason asked his teammate. Jason then turned his head towards koaru. " well, it is pretty normal to me. kind of. sorta. maybe." Jason grinned like the Cheshire cat. " just wait until you see kenzo's abilities. hehehehe." Jason laughed while turning his head to his teammate. "so, where should we do this, kenzo?" Jason asked his teammate.

Koaru found time to relax and stood up straight, now towering over jason. He moved to Jason's side, separating them by about 1 meter. Koaru acknowledged Kenzo's challenge with a smirk before turning to face Jason. 

"Truth is, I already got a taste of his power. We fought a while back..." 

Koaru stopped his sentence short, before Jason thought to ask about the details of the fight, like who rose as the victor of the match. Koaru raised an eyebrow as he looked around. They were two close to buildings and other villagers to fight as shinobi.

"Not here...I wouldn't wanna anything to happen to those perfect boo-" 

Koaru stopped himself after realizing what he was about to say. Koaru could do without another angry punch to the face, he concluded as he let out a nervous laugh while facing Kenzo. However, Koaru had a point. He knew Kenzo had a knack for utilizing fire and all its properties. It would not be wise to fight near a wooden building of all places. Koaru saw that there was a small green pasture quite close to Kenzo's house. It was within walking distance from where they all stood. It was something of a playing area for kids of the village. 

"Over there. I'll race you guys there!!"


Koaru said, pointing to the pasture. Koaru was already running at a full sprint before Jason and Kenzo could turn to look to where they would be racing too. Koaru was running hard, actually believing that he could make it there first. Something reminded Koaru to turn his neck back to where he had left Kenzo and Jason. He winked as he yelled,


"Oh yea, and no flying Uchiha brat!!" 

Jason walked to the clearing and stood 5 meters in front of kenzo. Jason made hand seals and when he was done, Jason did the flying rocks technique and spat them out aimed at kenzo's face. should they hit, then Jason would channel two chakra chains at 20 meters long and 2 inches wide and threw them at kenzo's chest. should they hit then kenzo would be stunned by the sudden attack. if kenzo's dodged then Jason would block the incoming attacks coming from Kenzo.

Koaru watched Jason initiate combat when they all reached a clear area with no civilians nearby by weaving hand signs. His eyes ricocheted off of Jason and onto Kenzo. Koaru noticed a change in Kenzo's body. Upon wearing activating his special eyes and raising his hood, all traces of his chakra dissapeared. Normally, when Koaru looked at a person who utilized chakra, it looked like a web of green spots, the nerves of the body, and a larger central mass of blue that branched out into many networks, also known as the chakra. 'Oh?' Koaru thought to himself. It seemed that Kenzo had done something to conceal his chakra from his opponents. A feature of the Sharingan? Or maybe it was the effects of that incredibly tacky jump suit Kenzo seemed to have changed into. 

Koaru grinned at Jason's casting of the flying rocks technique. Koaru acknoledged Jason's cleverness for trying to blind Kenzo. He must have known that without the help of those eyes, he and Jason may have a better chance of winning. Koaru almost instinctively knew what was coming next because of his many fights with Jason. Koaru ran to place Kenzo between Jason and himself. As Koaru expected, two Chakra Chains were launched toward Kenzo. Should the attack hit Kenzo, Koaru would follow with a leg sweep to trip Kenzo. However, Koaru knew the chances of that happening were low. It would be far easier for the young Uchiha to dodge the chains, which would put Koaru in the trajectory of the Chakra chains. Should Kenzo dodge, Koaru would grab Jason's chakra chains, one in each arm. Koaru would twirl the chains, like he was playing double dutch jump rope. He would use the chains to lasso Kenzo, in attempt to restrict Kenzo's arms. Kenzo would be bound with his arms clung to his torso. However, to maintain the restraint, Koaru and Jason would have to remain at their current distance. Otherwise, the chains would loosen, and their target would be able to slip away.

Kenzo's hands would lift to his chest, and form the tiger seal just as Jason had began to form his own seals. At that moment, the tips of every one of Kenzo's fingers would begin to heat up to extreme temperatures. Kenzo watched as the brown chakra began to run through Jason's system and identified it as...

Doton.


Kenzo's fingertips had already been heated to a point that may have been considered extremely dangerous, but he continued forming more handseals, regardless. Then, after Jason had already fired his stones, and Koaru had already began that short sprint in Kenzo's direction, Kenzo pointed his hands towards Jason, and fired a total of 10 of those small invisible balls of heat from his fingertips in Jason's direction with a speed of 80. 


"Saisho no Hono"


Kenzo announced with that calm, high-pitched voice. As they sliced through the air, the small balls ignited into flames, allowing them to be clearly seen to Jason, who had not a way to see chakra. These little concentrated flaming balls would not hit Koaru, nor would they deter his path, they would simply intercept the flying stones before exploding one at a time, destroying the earth stones. However, not all of the small fireballs would explode. 5 would cut through the explosion, heading straight for Jason. They would, however, be just out of range of Jason's position before they exploded, due to the chakra chains that were luckily extended blocking their path. Those chakra chains, the ones that would have been hit by the small balls, would have been decimated, and the flames from the denotations of the multiple small bombs would completely block Jason's vision. Passing through those flames was a task that Jason may not find comforting, for getting even an inch closer may have caused his flesh to spontaneously combust. Still, the point of the flames was not to hurt anyone. Kenzo simply wanted to separate both Jason and Koaru, even if it was only for a few seconds. However, what was happening on the other side of those flames?


Koaru, by this time, would have either stopped completely, turned around to see what would have become of his partner, or continued his assault. Kenzo's next few action's all depended on Koaru's. If Koaru were to stop at the sound of the explosion, and do nothing, Kenzo would also do not move, but if Koaru had turned backwards to see Jason, Kenzo would take advantage of this small opening, and use his speed to close the distance between himself and Koaru, hopefully before Koaru could turn his head back towards Kenzo. In the case that Koaru had continued his assault, and he was confident in his partners skill, Kenzo would take the most expected approach. He would leap 5 meters into the air and backwards a total of 2 meters. He had no intention of losing his footing today, for his speed gave him a great advantage. At the moment, Kenzo's speed did not give him an advantage however because he was under the influence of gravity to moment he had left the ground. Kenzo had given his word not to fly in this fight, and he would not fly.

(Explosions last an extra post, thus blocking Jason from seeing Koaru and Kenzo in the next post as well if he does not move.)

Jason stood there, and felt something that was really warm. Jason decided to channel more chakra chains coming from his chest that were at equal length and width. while the chains were out, Jason moved slowly to the left so as to not get hit by the flames. if all goes as planned, Jason would escape unharmed from the flames. if it fails, then Jason would be blinded by the flames.

Koaru cut his sprint short at Kenzo's execution of Saisho no hono technique. Koaru was out of range of the attack, so he assumed the attack was meant for Jason. Koaru came at Kenzo with a leg sweep, seeing that the chains had been destroyed by the orbs of fire. Kenzo was ready for the assault, and five meters into the air. Koaru grinned as he heard Jason launch more chakra chains from his chest. The chains cut through the sound of fiery explosions. Those chains would fly toward the now airborne Kenzo, attempting to restrain the kid. Koaru rose from his leg sweep, which missed, to stand upright. He could now see Kenzo clearly beyond the explosion because he had jumped above the range of the explosion. Koaru would attack if the chains successfully restrained Kenzo, who had no real means of evading the chains, considering the Uchiha would stay true to his promise of no flight. Koaru would hope that once Kenzo was restrained, Jason would swing the still airborn Kenzo toward Koaru to add to the combo of attacks. However, should the chains miss, Koaru would watch for Kenzo to land while waiting for the explosions to settle. Koaru began to draw his ninjato from its sheath
