Today, Kenzo had already completed a total of two missions. He was on a roll at the moment, and nothing would stop him, hopefully. Whatever made the attempt, if anything stood in his way, would still have to deal with the young lad. Today, he was feeling ambitious, and he dared any one to get in his way. Kenzo's small figure ran from the Academy to the Mission Central to collect a third mission. Hopefully there was a new mission up on the boards now. Though, it was very unlikely. Still, Kenzo walked through the doors of the mission central, and looked side to side for anyone that may be willing to give him a mission. There was no one. It appeared hat today was a slow day, as the missions that Kenzo usually saw piled on the wall were not there. WHen Kenzo looked at the mission boards today, the was a single sheet of paper there, and, in thick bold letters itread... "The Cat Lady: A search for Cats" It was obvious now why no one had taken his mission. If anyone completed it, then they would be reporting in to someone witch living alone in her home, Kenzo assumed, but he reached up and ripped the paper off the wall any way. He needed money today. Upon grasping the paper, Kenzo begin to read the smaller print that said... "A woman has lost her cats who mean everything to her. There are five cats in total and she needs a ninja’s help to find them all and bring them back to her safely. Even one cat getting hurt will result in the mission being a failure."
With a sigh, Kenzo read each of the descriptions for the cats, and heading outside to look for them. It could be that hard to find a couple of cats... could it? Kenzo first began by stopping by at the old woman's house to get a better description of the cats. He then left, and toke to the skies for a birds eye view. He immediately spotted two cats in the woman's backyard, and swooped down to pick them up, then, he returned to the woman, and went to find the other three. He found one in a garbage can near her home, and he found another in a tree. Those two were also returned to the woman who was very grateful. Then, off he went to find the last cat. He searched in trees, trash cans, and water. He looked under piles of leaves, napkins, and he even checked the training ground, but he could not find this kitten. Time was up, so he returned to the wmon's house, hoping that maybe the kitten had returned home on it's own. It had not, and he had been sent home with no pay. He walked home slowly with that glum look upon his face, and, before he knew it, everywhere h looked was a small kitten who seemed to fit the description of the one he had been ooking for, but he paid it no attention... Not until it approached him and began to walk around and through his legs, bruching it's tail against him ever so smoothly. Yes! He had found it! He returned to the woman, who opened the door in tears, and when she saw what he had, she tossed a small bag of gold into Kenzo's arms, and snatched the kitten away with an enormous smile. She had her cats, and Kenzo had his money. Everyone was happy, except, maybe, the kitties.
