Arcanis clone approached the village gates. He brought along his swords in an attempt to draw the attention of the sword master he had heard of but he would not draw them unless attacked.  He did intend to also meet with the village leader in attempts to set up a transportation depot if the Kage was willing.

Arcanis walked up to the gate guards and presented his case saying he would be more than willing to wait pending deliberations.

Hunter was walking around the Village Entrance that day.  No real reason but to just see if anything new would enter and catch his eye.  It was around dawn and the wind was unusually calm this morning.  Hunter's hair stood on edge as he sniffed the air like his old Master, Yaju Hayate, taught him to do.  His senses were finely tuned as he looked out, soon though as the sun began to cast out its rays, piercing the clouds and allowing the Village Gates to become move visible he noticed a man walking up the path.  The man was dressed in foreign clothing and was also equipped with five blades.  Hunter sat down at the steps and let the man pass him, but as he did he noticed an odd aura around the man.  He activated his Byakugan and turned to look at the man quickly noticing that it was pure Chakra...A clone perhaps....hmm, he also sniffed as the man walked by...no smell either...a clone it was.  The man approached the guards and asked for entrance to city while stating his business.  Hunter smiled before taking his blades out from his Haramaki and leaned all three against his shoulder.

"You know...if you were wanting to enter a village...you would come in person not send a clone.  Show yourself if you believe you are man enough.  Otherwise do not enter the village."

As he said this he activated his Shadow Wings and had them throw two Shadow Feather Kunai behind him aimed for the shadow directly.  He would not even bother wasting a physical Kunai on the clone, he would rather face the real opponent.  Once the Chakra signature of the clone was gone  he would sigh and wait.

"I'm waiting."

The wind blew across the path, rustling Hunters shaggy green hair.  His three blades were all still as his body was...a perfect calm in the face of a potential enemy or ally.

Arcanis sat waiting on the gaurd.  the man he had passed had been quite peculiar indeed.  he had never seen a man with green hair like his before.  However the swords he was holding had drawn his attention.  That is why he had spoken up about finding the swordsman that was well known from Kumo.  

The man spoke up.  Arcanis was surprised he was able to tell he was a clone.  From what he had read it was almost impossible to tell a clone from the real thing.  Arcanis turned toward the man to be attacked out of nowhere.  As his clone dissappeared Arcanis teleported from his hiding place to 3 meters in front of The man with the green hair.  Blinking into existance Arcanis knelt.  "You truly are powerful as I had sensed when I passed you. You must be the swordsman I have heard about."  Arcanis paused.   "I actually came here to seek you out and beg for you to train me."  Arcanis was not above humbling himself in the presence of those stronger than him.  He found that it was the smartest move.

Hunter watched as the man teleported to directly in front of him. The man bore the same foreign clothes as the clone and now Hunter got a good look at the man's headband. He was a ninja from the Village of Iwagakure, and when he began to speak Hunter could not help but smirk at the accent. He remained quiet as the man began to praise him for no reason, and Hunter almost laughed, but he moved his head as his whole body seemed to crack and loosen up.

"Who is to say I am the one you seek. Kumogakure is a Village full of swordsmen. Perhaps you seek the Village hidden inside the Land of Iron?"

Hunter spoke to interupt the man from continuing to spout nonsense.

"To claim I am the one you seek is to say that you have been seeking an answer to a question that every ninja has. Who must I seek to become strong? Is there a shortcut one can take? Let me tell you, there are no shortcuts and if I am indeed the man you seek for guidance...than I may be able to help you to a point. You carry five swords I see...Let us see how good you are with one?"

Hunter stood up, but the way he stood there s no wasted movement and it was all fluid as he put all three of his blades inside his Haramaki,and as he pulled away he unsheathed The Rebellion. It's blade seemed to sing as it vibrated at a frequency higher than the sound of normal steel. Hunter swung the blade and took the Lead Stance with the blade in both hands and pointing outward in a typical dueling stance. His words still hung in the air as if he were some ancient mystic and drawing words in the air.

"Now come."

Arcanis was taken aback.  The man stopped him from praising him.  Ignored it actually.  He didn't listen to praise, but asked for a fight.  Arcanis didn't like it when it resorted to this.  He would much rather deal with his problems with words.  However he knew there were people out there like this man.  He was completely ready to fight without considering the consequences.  Arcanis knew that if he fought this man, regardless of the outcome he could very well be killed by anyone else in the village.  Arcanis hoped he was good enough to prevent that as he drew a katana from it's sheath.  He knealt down and signaled Kam off his back.  "Watch him Kameron."
"you got it" came the reply from his familiar.[size=12.800000190734863] Though he knew very few advanced techniques he would make due with some basic swordsmanship.[/size]

Arcanis mirrored the stance of the man saluting him with his sword held at the ready.

Arcanis had heard the man say "Now come."  but Arcanis needed to see things more clearly before he attacked.  Arcanis closed his eyes and focused his chakra into them.  He drew in a breath and approached.  He kept his eyes closed scanning the area ready to attack.  observing the mans sword he did some quick calculations. and knew the sword was much to sharp to be able to block effectively.  Arcanis did more calculations taking hardly a second as he approached.  He stopped just outside the man's reach and began to circle looking for an opening preparing at a single breaths notice.

Hunter watched his opponent as he pulled a mere katana from it's sheathe. Then he watched as the man talked to a being on his back. It was quick and light, but Hunter noticed a Chameleon jump from the back of the man. Hunter wanted to laugh as the man instructed the beast to watch him. It was more than disrespectful in a duel to allow such a thing to happen. An opponent calling a beast to watch for foul play.

"Seems the man does not trust you Hunter...perhaps you scared him?"

Legion decided to chime in as the Dark Passenger of Hunters Curse Mark made it's appearance.

"Don't you even think of using me in this battle...I will reject you if you do so."

It spoke, almost growling at Hunter, it did not make him uneasy, it just left a bad taste in his mouth.

"So Katanas then...My apologies then..."

Hunter began as he brought The Rebellion up to his lips.

"Maybe next time my friend."

With that Hunter sheathed The Rebellion. He then Held out his left hand as the Hammerspace Generator glowed then summoned forth a Katana from Hunters storage. He then proceeded to step into a guarded stance, which meant his dominant leg was behind him but at shoulder width apart as his left leg was leading in front. The Katana now pointed downward toward his dominant leg. He noticed that the man began to circle him, and this meant that he was probably checking Hunter for any tells or perhaps an opening. It was bad the man would never find one though.

Hunter left his Byakugan activated because it helped in a duel, and that is when he decided to open up. He struck out, slashing the blade up at a 45 degree angle aimed to strike at the man's rib cage. He knew the man's guarded stance would allow him to react and guard in enough time seeing as Hunter only used a fraction of his speed, 60, to test the man's knowledge of swordsmanship. If he guarded, then it would b good because Hunter would be able to let loose a bit more. IF he did not guard in enough time and was struck, or if he guarded to late and lost his Katana, then Hunter would need to rethink on how to go about the duel. The good thing about the duel though is that it would allow Hunter to gauge this man's level just like he did with Bob. That was all that would be needed to see if he would be ready to be taught....Just a single duel. Man Vs Man.

Arcanis circled the man.  He seemed to know that his sword was superior to Arc's blade, as he put his sword away and did some jutsu to pull a lesser sword from thin air.  An interesting feat.  Arc coveted the ability immediately as he felt his swords swing heavily on his back.  the man decided he was going to strike first.

Good.

Arcanis loved reacting.  the blade swung up at him.  Arcanis was able to gauge it's speed.  'Hmm this man maybe holding something back' Arcanis thought to himself.  It was good.  Arcanis had been afraid in the first place because of the mans original attack.  he was sure the man wanted him dead.  He had played a gambit showing his real self.  But now Arcanis believed the man was trying to... test him maybe.

This thought process took no time at all.  the blade came up and and Arcanis performed a simple movement angling his sword slightly down and turning it to the side to catch the blade in a simple block.  Pushing on the sword Arcanis brought his up and taking a short step forward with his leading leg.  Matching the mans speed that he had demonstrated earlier (60) Arcanis swung a blow at the man's closest shoulder.  He would do his best to stop the blade just after touching the man just in case he didn't or was unable to block.  Arcanis focused his weight on his back leg ready to spring backward should the man decide to attack rather than block.  He focused his attention on the muscles in the man shoulder which would tell him the direction of the next strike.

Hunter watched as his attack was short lived and easily blocked.  This felt like someone had switched on a switch inside him, and it showed on his face and his hair even became different.  His eyes were now wide as he held a grin as if he were in an overcoming amount of bliss, his hair was sticking up on end as he stood there  and waited.  To anyone looking it would be as if Hunter had gone mad and was about to let the man kill him.  Hunter noticed the slight movement the man made before backing off to push off in attack.  Hunter knew that it was time to really show this man how a swordsman could act.  His right shoulder was open and his guard was showing he was in a lax state. As the movement came down Hunter reacted moving at a speed of 100, his hand would clench the blade with a strength 133.  The blade would not even get a chance to touch his palm as Hunter's fingers would be holding it, and his eyes....his blank white and black eyes would stare down into the man's as if to peer into his soul to see what he was indeed made of.

Hunter would throw the blade with his right hand with the strength of 105, and if that worked it would throw the man off balance enough for Hunter to move his Katana as if he was moving a stick gently through the air.  There was no sound, no vibration from the blade, and the swing....the swing was glorious.  Hunter had launched himself up a single meter to bring down the blade with a speed of 100.  If the man were to catch and react in time their blades would most likely clash, which would put Hunter's face within inches of his opponent.  If the man were not able to act accordingly in time Hunter would make sure to pull back just in time so that the tip of the Katana would graze the top of the man's foreign clothing.

Arc's blade slashed toward the mans shoulder.  The man's transformation didn't go unnoticed by Arcanis.  his hair changed as well as his eyes and facial expressions.  Arcanis took it all in stride.  it was natural for a ninja to have some special abilities.  his blade continued toward the man's shoulder. 

All of a sudden the man's hand gripped the blade of his sword.  The man had moved exceptionally fast but not faster than Arcanis could follow.  He clenched down on his sword with his fingers.  to stop his blade he must have extremely high strength.  Arcanis knew what was coming next and he already moved to follow it up.  He felt a tug on his sword as the man pulled it off to Arc's left.  In quick succession Arc did something most swordsman would frown at.  He released the hilt of his weapon with his right hand. dropping his hand to his hip, at the same time releasing the hilt with his left hand, sending the sword sailing into the air.  Arcanis right hand was already drawing another katana from his sheath.  

The man jumped into the air and bringing his sword down vertically in a sky to ground slash.  The sword now loosed in arcanis hand sat in reverse grip much like a dagger would.  As his opponents sword came down Arcanis rotated on his right foot swinging his blade up catching the dropping blade parrying it to the side.  Arcanis now facing the same compass direction as his opponent would jumpbackward slightly past his opponent and a little to the right. Ending his movement 2 meters directly behind the man.  if it looked like he had time he would shift his blade back into his guarded stance.

Hunter was not taken aback by the performance of the man, in fact...it made him want to see even more of the man's training. He decided to lay on the gas a bit though this time as the man shifted his guard. His form seemed as if he had training before, the amount of blades was unorthodox at the least, but it was not unheard of. There was even a legend of a warrior from Kumo who once used seven in combat, though...theres were all at once. Hunter shifted his stance having his lead foot forward, and his weak foot back and facing out to his left. He then shifted his weight as he began to squat just a little. This made sure to center his gravity, while his blade was moved from his old guard and into a striking form his right arm overhead with the Katana pointing directly out, while his left hand was out at a 45 degree angle and at his elbow he crooked at a 90 degree angle to provide blocking if needed. This stance was commonly seen in most ancient foreign armies where they in units, or phalanx.

Once he was in this stance it would be hard to see an oncoming attack due to the ferocity and sudden strikes that were available. Hunter would take the opportunity however as he would press forward in what seemed like a guarded full body lunge with a lightning fast speed of 125. Just when he was within 1 meter of the man Hunter would swing around making sure his blade would be aimed at the ground striking between the man's legs, the swing alone would slow him down to just 115 for a moment just to be seen so that the man could react and block accordingly. His hand however was fully charged with the Ripper technique and would be aimed at the center of the man's chest where a main Chakra point was located had the man chose to guard his left or downwad side. The strength of this attack would be well bellow average as it would only be used as a way to strike the man once.

If the Ripper technique were to have hit the man all that would happen is the man would be unable to access Chakra for a few moments as a numbing sensation would spread through his body, it would be enough to bring the man to a knee, but only for a few moments. If this were to all work Hunter would then walk to the man as he would be kneeling and he would act as if he were going in for the kill strike. Then as he would be within a few centimeters of the blade striking the man's neck Hunter would stop, take his blade and act like he would be sheathing it as it would disappear back into the Hammerspace Generator.

"Point is to me, and kill would be mine had I been an opponent. You fight well and you know much, but your moves lack backbone. A warrior must be proud to battle, and vigilant in his strike, we are but servants...and as such I will take you in as my student...a servant under me until the day comes where I see fit that you are to be known as otherwise."

However, this would all only occur if his plan were to have worked. If it did Hunter would then stare as his Ripper technique would die out, and he would simply take his hand at a 45 degree angle as he would make a fist with his right. As they would touch he would bow to the young man.
