When he heard the directions from the green-haired man, he understood that the stance he had chosen was wrong. It was no fault of his that his default poise was of the offensive. Kill or be killed. He had relied thus far on his speed and tactics to outmaneuver the enemy, but all that was prone to change now. He had not faced enough Shinobi to be adjusted to their ways. And while he could handle the Magicians of the North and Witches of the Forests, he had yet to understand a way to counter the Shinobi of the East. They seemed to possess parts of the magical prowess of wizards, and parts of the physical prowess of pure fighters. It made them a dangerous combination.
Asura reflected on his encounter with Hunter. Of course it was not ideal that he fight when injured, but then again, he was injured now -- if only less so than before. Fighting in a perfectly healthy state was not a luxury that he could rely on. His initial gambit had failed. The man had not even flinched when Asura threw the chair at the man's turtle. It was supposed to at least attract his attention but the turtle was more than capable of handling it. But more importantly, Hunter was confident in this. It left the Demon with no other choice but to attack from the front, and using the positioning of the room was futile when his opponent could flicker himself behind Asura.
Did this change the basis of strategy? Were the fundamental rules of warfare not applicable against people who could bend magic and strength to their will? No. As Asura's grip tightened on the bokken, he changed his stance into a more defensive one. He rested the bokken ahead of him, holding it still in his left hand. Then he turned his torso to face the left, minimizing the surface area exposed that was facing forward. Bending lower to allow for a faster spring in motion, he extended his right, open fist, as if he were ready to grapple. From what he saw before putting on his blindfold, Hunter would have a bokken, and given the size of the thing, it was very possible to employ some degree of grappling to negate an incoming attack. The tricky part was just predicting when and where the attack would land.
No, the rules of battle did not change simply because he faced Shinobi.
Even they were not indomitable.

Hunter smirked at the fact that the boy that just joined refusd to do anything. In that moment though Hunter reached back and like he had seen in plays in Kumogakure he smacked the newcomer on the head with just two fingers. He then turned back to Bob and used his Body Flicker technique to appear in front of Demon before bringing his swords down.
"Defend where you see fit."
Hunter commanded as he went to strike at his student with a speed of only 75 to see whether or not the man would defend properly or not. If the man would block then Hunter would reach out with his blocking arm and attempt to disarm him with a quick punch to his wrist. The speed and power of the munch both matched only 50, but to someone that was blind at the moment it would be a chore to defend against.
"Defend"
Hunter would command again waiting to see how Demon would react.

Kankri rather angry at the mans actions scuffed and stood up the grass seemed to stay the same, Kankri with a angry gaze stared down the man walking behind the other boy looking over him, from Kankri to the body he saw fit that it that it was about a swords length if he where to do a down slash to the boy with a real blade it would be a good game for the boy, although Kankri wasn't that mean to end this guys life with his Kings blade would actually bring shame to him, this Man had a handicap therefor Kankri saw no pride in slaying him here, Kankri watched closely as the blade came down to the boys head, whether the boy blocked or not didn't matter to Kankri, he was insulted by the other guys actions and for that Kankri felt as though he should actually try, Kankri held up his hands expecting the other man to know what to do, he didn't look dumb but didn't look to be strong either probably hiding most of his power for a later date was what Kankri thought.

Weight. He had expected running, the familiar thup of an approach, but instead felt the sudden unevenness before him. It was minute, but with his eyes closed he had only his ears and touch to guide him around. The blade had gotten too close, and his reaction speed was only barely enough to avoid getting hit. His bokken blocked, horizontally, in front of him while his head ducked. Alarmingly, both Hunter and he had used their free hands for the same reason.
When he straightened his hand and shot to the most probably wrist of the attacker, he did not expect for a punch to come at his armed hand. His bokken went flying backwards and to his left, the soft two thuds of its fall registering immediately in his mind. And while he chose to follow through with his Karate chop at the armed attacker's wrist, he did not invest much in it. Instead, shifting his weight backwards, he leaned until his left hand could support his weight behind him, and he flipped backwards to the last likely location of the bokken.
Both of his hands immediately went to the floor, searching for his weapon, and it took him a few seconds to find. This time, he would be aware of the possible disarm attempt. And while it only took a few seconds to find the wooden sword, he would spend that time staying keen. If flicker movement was possible, then he had to stay extra alert. But that's the thing with the element of surprise. You start out with a jar full of it, and with each tactic you reveal, the surprise drains away. And soon, to the blindfolded eyes of the crouching Demon, there would be no more surprises left. "That all you got?," he goaded, knowing full well that a man that had chosen to sit during a spar was very proud of his talents, and perhaps that pride could be used against his sparring partner this time around.

Hunter watched his student as he took the bait as well as mirror his moves all to well. It made Hunter smile as his own Bokken was taken out of his hand by the chop. He was expecting an attack, but not one of his own to be coming back at him. It made him smile as he watched his man single handedly flip back to retrieve his blade, though it was a bit funny when he had to search for his own Bokken. Hunter turned and stepped gracefully over to his Bokken plucked it up from the ground. He looked behind him to where the student was and found that he disappeared, it made Hunter think but now was not the time for that. He turned back to Bob and stared at him as he took his stance.
"If you can block and disarm me again...I will tell you my name."
Hunter declared as he stepped towards him, moving slowly at first, then within a single meter of Demon Hunter made his move. He let out a quick sharp exhale that was barely audible as he took his blade from a side guard, to his lower left where he brought it up to his right in a single swing with the power of about 95 and a speed of 100. The wind almost seemed to cut around the blade, but a whistle could still be heard due to the chips that had been taken out.

Block and disarm him, thought Asura as he clenched onto his bokken tight. Here he comes, thought the Demon as he crouched lower. He had learned from the last time, and he was prepared for if Hunter was to use his free hand to throw Asura off. When he had prepared for a single attack, the Demon had used two forms of countering -- one was his bokken while the second was his open hand. But now, he chose to assume that Hunter was going to use his own free hand as well, unaware of the fact that the green-haired opponent had opted for power over multiple attacks.
This assumption would perhaps help Asura.
He brought the bokken in his left hand around, such that he was holding it backwards, the length of the wooden sword going along-side his forearm. The reason why he didn't hold it out was because of how the last interaction had gone. Putting his arm out to block made his arms vulnerable, and he could not be sure to find the bokken again should he be disarmed. And if he wanted to disarm Hunter, with any level of certainty, then staying on the outside wouldn't work. The incoming blade hummed with the wind, revealing its location, and Asura grew deathly quiet, crouching still. He brought both his arms in front of him, with elbows pointed outwards and his fists clenched on either sides of his cheek. This meant that his bokken now pointed out, along with his two elbows.
In the next moment, he was before Hunter.
Body Flicker had taken him [135 spd] to the point of interception. Every slash had a beginning and an end. So for the Demon to close the distance between Hunter and himself was hopefully unexpected enough to entirely interrupt the slash, given that their point of clash happened much earlier than expected. Closing the distance was only the first surprise. The second was that he had pushed off with only one foot, sending him spinning towards Hunter, aware of where Hunter's blade was at that very moment. He would be rotating, from Hunter's perspective, counter-clockwise, so that his right elbow could attack Hunter's wrist first, then the left elbow, and lastly the bokken, all between one tick of a second and the next.
His momentum would carry him past Hunter, allowing him to land on all fours if his trajectory was not significantly disrupted.
This assumption would perhaps help Asura.
