Master Piandao, Master of 100 swords had recently accepted the mission of retrieving the missing files of the kage. The foe would receive a swift punishment as orders for such action, his hands ready to wield a sword once more. Piandao was not one for an executioner, but it had been too long since he had used a sword, in battle. The only sword he had used in a while was this Ninjato that was placed within his tightly secured red sash. Piandao casually walked the mountains, his hands hidden from sight as the long sleeves hid them well. His elaborate red and black robe suited him fine. The ends waved in the wind as he walked the path that was set for him. His hair was wrapped in bun, his shin held high as he wondered, how would this battle be. It has been too long since he was in a battle.

While walking, Master Piandao came across a piece of paper that was caught within the bushes nearby, was this paper apart of the missing documents that were stolen? Upon retrieving the paper with his left hand, he then shook it gently to read the words, it was indeed a part of the missing files. The thief may not be far, and due to leaving a piece of the documents behind, he was in a rush to leave the lands of Iwagakure. Master Piandao would have to hasten his steps if he wished to catch this thief in time. Master Piandao grabbed the sheath of his Ninjato, pulling it out o his sash with his right hand. Now the weapon was in his hand, the document rolled up as he placed it where the sword had been, making sure it would be kept with him at all times. The swordsman dashed off along the path way, it was soon time to confront the traveler, and bring an end to this long wind chase.

The foot steps of the Swordsman was silent, yet quick. He leaped upon the trees with grace, each leap placing him in a beautiful figure. The flying swan they call it? His eyes taking notice to everything around him, till suddenly he picked up a set of footprints. The Swordsman that was high above the sky, descended lower to the ground, but topped above on a tree branch wide enough for him to land on safely. looing down to the ground, the footsteps were as clear as day. Only one set he saw, all the prints leading one way, this was good. He tighten his grip more on the sheath, the sound of his hand gripping the blade made him more determined than ever. Master Piandao leaped forward, till the sound of two hurled shuriken was made. To his left, two shuriken were tossed towards him, 20 feet from his location. With a swipe of his right arm, while using the sheath, he deflected the oncoming shuriken with ease. The swordsman now fully decent down to the ground, his feet positioning themselves in the direction of the thrown objects. Hiding? This would need to be solved now and quickly as possible, he grew weary of traveling, he was not as young as he used to.

The swordsman brought his left hand over the hilt of his blade, his hand gripping the hilt. Master Piandao was good at using his sword, that his steady hands allowed him to hold a sword in any hand with ease. He arched his back with his eyes squinting, seeing where the next attack would come from. The bush then rattled with noise as a figure would emerge from out of the bush, the thief was now revealed. The figure was no more than Master Piandao's size, his body build and mass almost mirrored his own. The only thing that differed from the two was age, the thief seemed to be about 30. "So your the one who was following me, I thought I was gone of the patrol unit, which allowed me to travel more comfortably", The man looking into Piandao's grey eyes. Master Piandao looked into his eyes two, readying himself for battle. "It is a shame a young man like you must be punished like this, return the scroll, and your punishment will be less heavier than it already is. It is not to late to remove the stain from your hands," Piandao was ready fro anything that was going to be thrown at him. The man standing across from him charged at the Master Piandao, and in an instant, all was till. Master Piandao's senses were at an all time high, from every chirp of the trees, to the flying bees, Piandao could hear it all. All it too was for him to hear one step, after which Master Piandao moved towards the on goer at blazing speed, draing the sword from his hilt, stopping the blade as it pressed against the man's neck, the man barely moving as he was in the same spot as he begun for he was too slow for the swordsman. The swordsman whispering words of terror into the man's ear, demanding for the missing files to be returned. His whisper was only loud enough for the two to hear. When he was done talking, the now held hostage sweat with fear, forcing him to tell the truth about the location of the files.

"Ok ok!! Just don't hurt me, I was only just a decoy, I don't have the files with me. A man named Shu has them, he is still near the village, probably just heading out of it by now, on a carriage. If you leave now, you can catch him right now." The man was fearing for his life, the Swordsman was no ordinary old man, his power teeming from his body, took shape around him in the form of a demon. His eyes still locked onto the man's own, searching for almost the slightest sign of treachery within his story, however, he could find no such thing, his story was true as his fear. The swordsman spoke, "You are lucky young man, If you would have met me when I was around your age, well, I wouldn't even be having this discussion. In fact, letting you live is a crime on its own, to spare a thief so that he could thief once more... But, I see that you have learned your lesson about stealing, and working under those who would see you die. Decoys are nothing but scape goats, you probably didn't even get paid I presume, seeing as your partner foresaw your death." The young man gulp as he nodded his head slightly, "Just who are you..." Piandao then vanished from sight, he must make it back to the village in order to intercept the real thief in time, he had already wasted too much time already...

On his way back, the leaping swordsman flew through the air, till he noticed a group of individuals below him, did them not sense the swordsman. Just who where these people he wondered, then, as one looked up towards his location, they all ceased their movements, hurling a wave of shuriken towards Master Piandao. With his sword still drawn from before, the skilled swordsman stuck his sword outwards towards the wave, his wrist rotating fluently as the blade deflected all the shuriken away from his body, each of the, scattering else where. Once he completed his action, the swordsman held his sword still once more, the blade now held straight once more, pierced into the first attacker, severing his head and right arm all at once. Upon his landing, two other now at both his flank, attacked him at once. Master Piandao had scanned the are before his landing, stepping back, his fingered twirled his sword, with the tip of the blade now pointing downwards, it blocked the two oncoming swords from touching his body. The swords were brought to a halt, with Piandao using his strength to break up the grid lock. The remaining two formed a stance, Master Piandao doing the same. His left hand brought back behind his wait, his right arm extended out downwards, his two legs brought together. His grey eyes stared deeply at the two, "trained swordsman I presume?" Master Piandao could tell that these two had possessed a bit of knowledge about the sword.

The two swordsman looked at each other, only to nod once. The two looked back at Master Piandao, stepping closer and closer, their swords held directly towards him, ready to react at any movement Master Piandao makes. Master Piandao carefully examined their slow steady movements, they were indeed hesitant of his power. Taking down one of their own in such a gracefully move, surely prompted them to think twice when battling master Piandao. The swordsman then dashed forwards, attempting to impale the one on the left, however his sword was parried by the one on the right, while the intended target proceed with a slash towards Master Piandao's neck. The Master swiftly ducked downwards, his sword moving horizontally to the left across the two, their legs were the target this time. The two back stepped, gaining distance. Piandao had lost his touch, practicing so much can only go so far, it has been a while since he had used a sword.

The three eyed each other down with deathly intentions, the three were locked in a battle to the death. Piandao still holding his previous stance, not knowing whether these two were in league with the soul he spared. Perhaps he should have dealt with the decoy, instead of showing mercy. Nevertheless, it wasn't as if the decoy revealed Master Piandao's location, for it was he who stumbled across them. As he thought more on the subject, he then began to accept the fact that these men were not even in league with the file thief. These swordsman were heading towards the village, not away. He never bothered to ask, since these swordsman clearly wanted Piandao's head, it was time to end this battle, and proceed on to the village to secure the scroll. Never did Master Piandao think that he would have to carryout a side mission along with dealing with this already taxing mission. He was not as young as he used to be, after this mission, if he would come back, Master Piandao would be very selective from now on about taking on missions. The few ryo that he would get from this mission, was not worth the strain he is enduring.

The two foe decided to charge at the Master, sensing the exhaustion coming from the old man, this was there chance. Master Piandao, ready himself for this assault, waiting for a opening. His heart raced with excitement, only to die down low, to the point where all was calm. This was the way a  true swordsman would do battle, his mind at ease, his heart calm like so as well as his hands. The swordsman watched as the two raised there swords in an attempt to hack down the Master, but it was so late. The Swordsman acted in a quick manner, his blade now sweeping across the two, the sword passing through both their arms and head, there demise almost mirrored the first victim, if not the same ending as the first victim. Blood then spread everywhere, covering all who remained near them, except Master Piandao, who presence vanished when the slice was done and confirmed. The leaping Swordsman leaped from tree to tree, his work, mission would soon be over. The battle that had took place, was over an done.

The now victorious swordsman returned to his intended goal, the retrieval of the missing files, gaining these would pull the village out from its poor state that it was in. Piandao was unaware of this, the village in poverty, only now since he became an active jounin once more, was he briefed on this status. The previous village should have been ashamed of what had happened. Nevertheless, this little bit of money should help Master Piandao get back on track. The traveling man was now closer, he could see the structure of the village, but no sign of the carriage that the decoy stated, the road was far to his right, which he could see just fine. Funny, how master Piandao is losing his stamina, but his vision is still as sharp as a hawk, he is forever thankful that his vision is still the same. The road was empty, this was not good, Master Piandao quickened his steps, till finally a image appeared far away down the road, the carriage he presumed. Master Piandao leaped over to his right, his figure now ending up in the clear road, the oncoming carriage directly in front of him, 30 meters away. He simply waits as he walks slowly, this was it.

Within the carriage is the thief himself, he examines the files of Iwagakure, seeing how this village was doomed to fail if word gets out. The buyer of these documents would be a very happy man. The thief smiling as he crosses his legs, the interior is of a lavish design, silk cushioning, silk everything, the clouds he sleep on it was. As he sat with the notion of victory, his driver would signal him that a man was in the way, he had stopped right in front of an elderly man, his figure still, causing the carriage to cease all movement. "What now...?' The thief asked, getting out the carriage, which his throat was not pressed with a blade, the tip pressing onto his throat, any movement would mean death. The thief's breathing got heavier and heavier, was this the end? Master Piandao held the sword tightly , death was only a second away. "Where are the forms, I know you have them young man, if you try anything, you will force my hand into doing something you will regret. Master piandao was ready to end it, the man could see this to be true with a gesture of his eyes, the man waved them over to inside of the kage, the files being kept in an envelope. "It is over there in the file container, the files must have been mighty important." with a slash of his sword, it was over, the man's head flying off from the neck, both the lifeless body and head fell to the dirt floor. The drive yield in agony as he ran away, Master piandao didn't have the time or energy to deal with him, the securing of the documents was all that was on his mind, he had had his fill of thieves for today.

With the dead boy lying on the floor, Master piandao proceed to entering the carriage, where he looked high and low for the files, till finally he had found them tucked under the seat, which had signs of them being read. why would the thief play dumb about not knowing about the files' contents? Nevertheless, Master Piandao had completed the mission, he now had the files in his possession. Master Piandao backed away from the carriage, being mindful of the dead body. Killing isn't something that should be celebrated, taking one's life is a lost. But stealing the documents that put the lives of his people in danger, that is something that was uncalled for.

Now this the files in his hands, the swordsman walked down the long dirt road, his path now taking him to the village, to return the contents, a mission well done. Master Piandao would have to see to it that the village return back to its proper status, before he could retire and carryout his lasting days in the dojo. He knew that this would be a tedious mission, but this had to be done, for he had a lot of responsibilities as a teacher in Iwagakure, to spread his knowledge amongst the land. The lone  swordsman walked down the path, to return the scroll, his mission was now done, and it was time for him to get much needed rest. Tomorrow Master Piandao had planed for himself to form a team, of genin, to begin his spreading of knowledge, and to raise a new generation of shinobi to protect the village, and pull it out of its crippled state. Much was to be done, the swordsman of the past had resurfaced into the world, his swords inching for much combat, combat is where people can truly learn another's character. Master Piandao didn't believe this to be true at first, but over the years of pain and learning, he had finally realized this to be true.

As he reached the gates of his village, the guards would see that the famous teacher of the village had returned from his mission, everyone knew who master Piandao was. The famous swordsman who inspired others to become powerful swordsman themselves, it was an honor Master Piandao treasured. The old man simply nodded his head towards the guards as he passed, his modesty held together. As he entered the village, he headed directly to the office of the kage, where he would hand in the scroll containing the files to the kage. after which he would calmly proceed home, his tired body in much need of rest. While heading home, he passed the academy, many of the academy students walked out of the building, it was graduation day. Master Piandao couldn't attend, but would soon see to it that he would have  a team of genin under his wing, the knowledge of the sword would not go with him to the grave, someone would need to carry on his legacy, someone who was well taught in the way of the sword. Arriving to his house, master piandao placed his sword upon his rack, the rack that contained many different swords of different ages. All held a piece of Master piandao's life, such a museum was placed inside his home.
