First day of training

Chiba wandered the training grounds, seeing them in a new light now that he was a genin. Everything seemed different somehow. Unsure of exactly what he'd intended to train, Chiba brushed his hands along the pommels of the practice weapons set up for full-contact sparring. 
Doing so reminded him of his academy days, his only memory to date. He'd enjoyed the weapons' feel in his hands, until they made contact, that is. The vibrations shook him so hard, he'd dropped his weapon every time, earning himself quite the pummeling. That's what had inspired him to start puppetry. 
The memory triggered him to turn and glance toward the practice puppets. While he'd been quick to learn the chakra threads, his puppetry left much to be desired. 
With a sigh, Chiba turned away from the puppets, and made another lap around the training field.

Migite bored and waiting for Koroshi's meeting to end, decides to take a walk through the village, viewing that Koroshi most likely wouldn't need help for it seemed like a friendly business meeting. As he walks he happens across the Suna training grounds, fond memories flowing into his mind from the first time he met the resent Kage, his unusual personalty, and loving of fighting lead to them to spar at this very spot. Although his thoughts are interrupted when he sees a young child running laps around the training field, as well as a small wooden puppet that is sort of watching the boy train.

"Hey!" The Anbu says as he begins making his way into the training grounds, in hopes of seeing what this kid is up too.

Chiba slows to a stop noticing his observer. An ANBU-ranked ninja would probably want to train on his own, Chiba thought. He quickly cleared the field for the newcomer to practice. 
In his haste, however, he failed to notice a fallen polearm, and tripped over it.  Bouncing to his feet, Chiba tried to keep walking as though he weren't embarrassed, turning back for only a moment to  stand the polearm back in its spot with a pair of chakra threads.

Chiba Jumped when he Hearn the ANBU call out to him, and the polearm fell once more. Turning to face the other ninja, Chiba bowed in apology. "I'm sorry. If this is your training time. I can be out of your way shortly."
He uprights the polearm by hand, ensuring that it stays in place and out of the other ninja's way.

Upon seeing the boy notice him, and trying to flee, only to trip and fall over some equipment that was lying on the ground, Migite dashes forward in order to help the younger ninja. Using his chakra to enhance his speed he hopefully gets there before the boy collides with the ground, catching him by the back of his shirt with his right hand. If all goes as planned and the ANBU is successful in catching the boy, he then begins to speak if Chiba doesn't already "Hey are you alright? The ANBU says in a concerned voice while helping the boy stand back on his feet, if he has not done so already.

Chiba bows in gratitude to his superior. Embarrassed, but unscathed, Chiba replies "I am well, thank you. If there is a way to repay your kindness, please allow me to do so. I am called Chiba, and I've been told I have a rather unique manner of fighting. Perhaps, since you came to train, an unusual fighting style might assist you in training to combat surprises in the field which might arise in your duties in protecting Kazekage-sama." 
Chiba pulled a small book out of his left sleeve as he spoke, and began a quick sketch of the ninja standing before him, and adding notes as he did so. It wasn't hard for him to deduce the mans' rank based on his clothing and gear, and Chiba was vaguely aware if having seen this man accompany the Kage before.

Hearing the gratitude in the young boys voice Megite smiles, although his face remains unseen due to his blue dragon like mask "There is no need to repay me, I live to help and protect the villagers and ninja within the walls of Suna. Although if you wish to spar I have some free time, and I would love to see how strong my fellow ninja are" As Megite says this he reaches toward the left side of his waist with his right hand, gripping a hold of the handle of the blade that his Kage bought for him long ago, that he keeps strapped to his waist. "I shall tell you when to start, after that feel free to come at me with whatever attacks you have" Right after saying this the trained assassin turns around and begins to walk away from the boy, stopping and turning around once he is roughly about forty five feet away from him. After competing this motion Megite lowers his form toward the ground ever so slightly, while moving his legs so that they are spread four inches apart from each other, with his right leg being two inches in front of his left. "You may start when ready" He finally says, his hand still gripped upon the handle of his blade.

Chiba was astonished at being asked to spar by an ANBU member, let alone one chosen specifically to guard the Kage. He hoped to put up a good fight, and not to embarrass himself or let down the expectations of his superior. He anxiously shook loose his hands as his opponent walked away, trying to not let his nerve show once they were again facing one another. 

Once he'd received permission to start, Chiba activated the free walking jutsu to help him ground himself. Pulling two shīruken from the pockets inside the loose sleeves of his black robes, Chiba connected the necessary threads to them so he ccould control their flight pattern, then let them fly at his opponent, each aiming for either shoulder, meant to graze the mans shoulders. Chiba tried to keep the threads directly behind the shīruken so as to not give away his style. Seeing the sword in the anbu's grip, Chiba expected the shīruken to be slashed out of the air, and planned accordingly to halt the shīruken a progress as the sword was drawn, then have them both dart for the mans chest, correcting for any possible dodge.

Seeing the shiruken thrown at him makes Megite smirk under his mask, and begins to dash toward his left in hopes of circling around the boy, and attacking from a different angle. While he does this he makes sure to keep an eye on both the boy, and the shiruken flying at him, taking in every bit of detail he can about this situation. If he is not stopped and Chiba doesn't change the direction of his weapons to aim for him again, he would see the blue strains linking Chiba and the weapons together 'Oh so he is one of those of fighters, this will be fun' Megite thinks to himself as he continues to run, now roughly about 15 feet away from Chiba, and the weapons, that is if their paths haven't changed already.


While doing all of these actions Megite makes sure to stay in his slightly lowered stance, while making sure that his grasp doesn't leave his blade, so he is ready for any extra attacks that might come at him.

Chiba's shīruken  follow the ANBU ninja as fast as they can [speed 20-ish] as he runs angling towards Chiba at a wide angle. His foes' low stance concerned Chiba. He knew he'd have to do something quickly to head off the imminent attack.
