Training In The Village. {Solo training topic}
Wed Dec 26, 2012 2:39 pm
Okan stood, on the roof top of his home. He was currently wearing some clothes he had slept in, a small black T shirt and some black pants which stretched down just a little past his feet, to the point to where they dragged along the ground. He yawned, thinking. He thought about the life of a shinobi, and if he should start training to become one. Currently he hadn't wanted to be a shinobi, however he possessed the ability to become one. If he would become a shinobi, it would be due to the fact that he would be forced to simply protect himself and any future family he may have, this being due to the curse of the Yuki clan his father had passed onto Okan. Many, including himself had thought that this kekkei genkai had been a curse, though Okan thought of the curse in a different view. He thought of it as a curse due to the world hating him for what he couldn't choose to accept or decline, he had been forced to take the gift. He is forced to keep his gift, curse, or whatever it should have been called, a complete secret, or else risking the chance of being killed by any friends he may have made, any allies he may have allied to or been forced to ally with, and his enemies enjoying the chaos.
He sighed, he had decided to become a shinobi simply to protect his life and any family he may have in the future. He opened the small trap door on his roof top that locked from the inside. Currently it had been unlocked, due to him unlocking it to get up onto his roof top. He had gone up here to simply think, reviewing his two options of becoming a shinobi or not. He came up there to think on nice days often as it is usually quiet, peaceful, and a nice place to think. As soon as he stepped onto the ladder which allowed him to reach the door, he began to climb down, skipping a step and placing his feet two steps below the first, once his body had been completely in he had reached up using his right arm, grabbing the only handle on the door and pulling it shut. He began to lock the door, there had been three locks. One simply slided over to the right, and locked. Another was twisted, and the third being a small lock on a chain that slid in a small holder, just a bit down farther from the other locks. He continued climbing down after the locks had been completely locked. It had been impossible to open from the outside, the only way to unlock the door was from the inside.
He sighed, as he stood in the nearly empty room. The only thing in this room had been a door for access to the hallway, and the ladder along with the door at the end of the ladder. He moved towards the door which led over to the hallway. He reached for the knob on the door, using his left arm. He had grabbed the knob with his left hand, his grip slightly tight as he turned the knob along with his hand. Once he couldn't turn his hand anymore he would pull his left arm back, opening the door towards him as it couldn't be pushed out into the hall due to the way the house had been built. After opening it slightly, he moved the door to where it would hit the wall and stay there. He walked into the hall way, not caring if the door was shut or not, it had no meaning to be shut, and sometimes he had wondered why the door was even there, why he left it there. With a simple sigh he made his way towards the end of the hall, where his bedroom was. There were multiple doors along the way, one a simple closet for the hall, it was the closest one towards the door leading to the roof top. In it there were cleaning supplies, considering the fact that he had to clean his own house. He had never had anyone clean up a mess for him, he always did the cleaning himself. Though, when he feels lazy he sometimes considers hiring someone, but his greed for money prevented him from doing so. Down farther, after the hallway closet was another door leading into a rather large bathroom. It had two seperate options for bathing, a small shower one can stand up in, and a bathtub for baths. Next to the bathtub there was a counter, stretching from the tub to the wall, right next to the door. On the top of the counter, in the middle, rested a sink that had been installed for the purpose of washing hands or brushing teeth. Across from the counter, next to the shower, was the toilet. The bathroom's floor, unlike all other rooms except for the first floor's rooms of the bathroom, and kitchen, had tiles set up. The tiles were small squares, white and blue, set up so that to the left and right of a white square there was never another white one. Every other room in the house having a wooden floor. After the bathroom, there was another, empty room. It was a bedroom that had been waiting to be filled with furniture, however he didn't plan on filling it anytime soon. After that door there was a staircase on the left, and on the right another door, leading into his bedroom. His bedroom had a large bed built for two, the covers on the bed had two colors on it, white and black. There were strips on the covers, white and black lines stacked up on each other. There were two, white pillows on the bed, at the top near the wall. They were placed beside each other, they were exactly the same, both wrinkle free, and pure white with no stains on either. The floor was made of wood, like the strips on the bed they stacked on the side of each other from wall to wall. Exactly across from the door, there was a small window. Meant for looking out at the view of the streets below, and the buildings across the street, it had been a rather plain, boring view, however it could provide something useful, such as when there is a fire he could easily jump out of said window if he was in his room, to the streets below. He sighed, walking over, half way to the window, and then turned his head right, to look at his closet. His closet had a door that could slide over towards the hall way door.
He extended his right arm after turning his body to look at the sliding door. He opened his right hand, as he extended his arm towards the knob of the door. He gripped the knob slightly tightly, just tight enough to hold on as he would pull back, sliding the door over into the wall. He looked into his closet, down on the floor there were multiple pairs of shoes, few being different colors. He looked up a bit, there was a single bar beneath another, with enough room in between for shirts to hang from the second bar up. From the floor to the first bar up there had been enough room for some pants to hang from hangers on the bar. He took out some black jeans, taking off the pants he currently wore and putting them on, then taking off the shirt he wore while sleeping and searching between the shirts. He pulled out two things, a type of jacket, however sleeveless, he had a tailor make it, without the sleeves. The other thing he pulled out was a black, sleeveless shirt. He put both on, the shirt on first and then the jacket. He pulled over his head, a hood, which had been connected to the jacket. He then walked out, back towards the room with the ladder leading up to the roof tops.
He sighed, as he stood on the roof top of his own home. The door which entered into his house once more shut, but not locked. He had no fear of thieves due to him not having anything of interest, and the fact that a thief was uncommon in Sunagakure, at least he had no trouble with them for as long as he had lived in the village. The wind blew strong, the sand in the streets being pushed more towards the center of the village, least where he was. After the center the sand would be pushed more towards the exit, the village gates. He looked up into the clear blue skies, nothing had ruined it's perfect color except for the sun, a big, shining seemingly yellow ball of fire in the middle of space far away from the earth, however it had seemed closer in appearance, though it was thousands of miles away. He hadn't looked at the sun directly, seeing as he knew it was always there. Though today, there were no clouds. Okan had normally seen at least one cloud a day, seeing none was uncommon for him. He sighed, looking over at the other building. Even if the sun had been out, shining it's powerful rays down upon the earth, down upon the land of wind, down upon Sunagakure, the village hidden in the sand, it was rather chilly outside, this may have been due to the strong winds coming into the village. This being where his dark clothing may come in handy, though just something Okan had heard while walking down the sandy streets of Sunagakure, he heard that dark clothing makes it seem hotter for the wearer, though that may not be worded correct, and may not be completely true, he was willing to give it a try so that he could train on colder days.
He sighed, looking over at the other building right before he dashed into a sprint. He ran towards the end of his flat roof top, and jumped onto the next, other flat roof top. He continued doing so for a while, racing across the village. The time limit being twenty minutes, he would not be able to make that time with his current speed, it would be an hour or so. The other rules of this solo race was that he couldn't take any breaks, and he couldn't touch the ground. He jumped across the gaps between the homes and buildings, after simply five minutes he began panting heavily, he had been indeed out of shape. Although he continued, sweat pouring down his face after the first thirty minutes, he began to think, to avoid this whenever going out on missions when he becomes a shinobi, or running from enemies, he should do this everyday, along with whatever else he considered doing.
After an hour and ten minutes, he arrived back at his house. His muscles sore, nearly out of breath, his heart pumping rapidly, he fell on the roof top of his home, and laid there for a few minutes as his heart beat returned to normal and he caught his breath. He sighed, knowing this was just the beginning of his training for today.

Re: Training In The Village. {Solo training topic}

Okan remained, laying there on the roof top of his home. He was breathing slightly heavier than normal having just finished his job around the village around ten minutes ago. He needed to continue training, having only jogged around the village, it wasn't much training at all. Compared to the training he figured the shinobi do. He figured he would attempt to use chakra now, as most shinobi could do to create jutsu or techniques. He remember learning this within the academy while he was there when he first joined Sunagakure, the village hidden in the sand. With a sigh, he began trying to remember everything about how to perform a jutsu. He remembered how to perform techniques, using simple hand signs and using chakra to make the jutsu. He sighed, where he was standing currently wasn't a good spot to perform jutsu, due to the fact he didn't want to damage his own home, other's homes, or other people. Mainly due to the fact he would have to pay money in the end. He sighed, deciding to head out of the village. He hadn't planned on going too far out, no, instead he was going far enough to where he couldn't destroy any property, and be able to train without worrying about anything, anyone, but himself and his stuff.
He sighed, jumping off his roof top home, landing into the streets of Sunagakure. It was a rather soft landing, what with the sand to land upon. He had only been a bit hurt, nothing was broken and nothing was wrong with Okan from that simple fall. He stood back up, his face appearing to be rather neutral, he hid his emotions, hid the fact that he was bored. He then began to walk towards the village's gates to exit the village temporarily, as he walked, the wind began to slow down slightly, it began to get warmer and warmer outside. The wind now moving slowly and calmly, there was barely a breeze now. He hated when it got like this, perhaps some day he would leave this village for a much colder village to live in. He thought about how wonderful that would be, being able to remain in a cold place for however long he wanted to. It had nearly brung a smile onto his neutral face, however he held it back and kept the appearance of someone who seemed to have no emotions. The reason he did this, the reason he hid his emotions was simply because he refused to let anyone see what he was feeling. Often this would help a shinobi, hiding their fears from their enemies and ally. Should they show any fear to their ally it may make them weaker emotionally, depending on the strength of the scared shinobi. If an enemy should see their opponent is scared of them, it will give them a feeling that they have an advantage, though this works both ways, it could give an enemy an advantage, or it could give the 'scared' shinobi an advantaged. Surely, Okan figured, the one who figured he had an upper hand in the battle, an advantage, would become more cocky, allowing the tide of the battle to turn in favor of the acting, or scared shinobi. Okan began to think upon this, and figured emotions did have a major part to play within battles against strong or weak opponents.
He began to approach the gates, noticing there were only a few guards guarding the gates. He walked up to one, requesting that he could leave the village, he told him that he wasn't moving very far away, that this was simply for training. He was told no, however he was given directions to the training grounds within the village. Okan had thanked the man, putting on a face that showed gratitude to the man, while truly Okan was rather angry that he walked all the way across Sunagakure to travel all the way back, near his home. He turned around, heading in the direction of the training grounds. His neutral face had returned, he was angry, and slightly tired from all the walking right after the race around the village. Around thirty minutes had passed since he had finished his race against the clock, having lost said race, but it had got him slightly in shape, well actually on the road to getting in shape. He still had a few miles to travel on that road, having only begun his travels on this road. Continuing on the streets of Sunagakure towards the training grounds, he began to wonder what he would train? Perhaps, a water technique due to his main element having been water release. He remembered his time in the academy when the sensei had gave the lesson on elements, when he gave everyone in the small class a piece of chakra paper. This paper was used to tell which of the five basic elements a shinobi had, the way to tell was what happened to the paper. Should the paper burn, the user had the element of fire release. Should it become wet, then they would have water release. Should it become cut, they would have wind release. Should it cripple up and become wrinkly, they would have lightning release. Should it crumble and turn dry, they would have earth release. The class had a majority of wind release users, as Sunagakure had been more popular for. Few had anything other than wind release, it was just him and another child slightly older at that time, older than Okan at least. The other child had fire release, while Okan had water release. He remembered taking that test, on which element he had. He remembered holding it in between two of his fingers, and the paper beginning to become wet after a moment of pouring chakra into it. However, nearly everyone else's had began to cut rather than anything else. Okan, seeing that considered himself to be rather different, special, unique, compared to the other students. He considered the one who burnt the paper to be the same as him, though unique in his own way. The two were different, the fire release user always happy, and head strong, always ready to go and do whatever he was told, or whatever he wanted.
He sighed, showing some emotion of boredom. At that time he noticed, he had arrived at the training grounds. He sighed, walking into the empty training grounds only to notice that no one was there other than him. This proved to be rather enjoyable, he enjoyed the quietness there was. With a small smile on his face he moved towards the center of the training grounds. The room was large, there was no ceiling, it had been like a huge arena built for people to fight in. He stopped thinking about the appearance of the training grounds and focused on a jutsu, the Hidden Mist technique. He began to perform hand signs, and prepare his chakra to perform the technique properly. However nothing happened, he began to think, perhaps he needed a source of water. With a sigh, he began to think where he could get that anywhere near Sunagakure without messing with the village's water supply. Perhaps, he could simply use the moisture in the air, it had a small chance however, it may work. He began to perform the jutsu one time after another, each time creating a slightly bit of mist, not too much. However, after a while, mist surrounded the training grounds, 25 meters around Okan. The mist having just barely fit within the training grounds. The mist had his chakra, therefore making it impossible for any sensory shinobi unable to tell where within the mist Okan was located. However, should Okan learn any sensory techniques he would be able to loocate someone else even if they would be in the mist, this being due to it was his chkra, and he could find someone else's within the mist. It would be as if spotting a fly within a cup of water. He sighed, as he walked around waiting for the mist to disappear. Then he thought, perhaps he could use this mist as a way to create more water techniques. He began to look for a wooden dummy, after finding one, before the mist cleared he performed hand signs for a rather useful technique known as the water prison technique. As the water created a small sphere around the wooden dummy that had been built to train upon, Okan stuck his hand within the created sphere, which was necessary to keep the watery prison up, and containing the target. The watery prison made it impossible for any target to move in, making this a perfect technique for capturing a target. Water prison alone was a rather useful technique, combined with the hidden mist technique he could really do something. The enemy wouldn't be able to see in the mist, however should Okan make any sounds it would be a problem, and if he could move up behind the target without being noticed he could easily capture the target within the water prison technique. It's deciding how to kill the target which would be the problem. There could be many ways, and that's assuming he really wanted to end the life of the target. One way was simply sticking a sword within the watery prison and piercing body parts, and organs which would be required to remain alive, one being the heart, the other a brain.
The mist would begin to clear, and someone would then walk into the training grounds. A Jounin, who requested a spar. Okan had been seemingly mistaken for a shinobi, most likely a Jounin like this one was. After informing the Jounin that he wasn't even a genin and had just began training today, the Jounin still requested the spar. He accepted the spar request and began by performing simple hand signs for a D ranking technique, as soon as he finished he would noticed the Jounin had pulled out a simple weapon, a Kunai, and remained in a defensive position. Mist began to fill the training grounds, barely fitting within it. He moved silently, around the Jounin, then silently moved towards him from behind. He performed hand signs silently once more, and water formed around the Jounin, creating a prison of water. The mist making it still rather impossible for anyone other than Okan to see, he would notice that the Jounin had replaced himself with a log. He dropped the water prison, his arm leaving the watery sphere, and the water began to splash down. Before the splash made a sound he dashed back rapidly, away from the area, and he was right to do so. A kunai flew right where he originally stood, the Jounin was relying on sound to find Okan. He remained silent, with a smile on his face, this was fun. The Jounin had known so much to where he wouldn't go around walking blindly, so he stood in place. Okan saw him clearly, smiling still. The Jounin wasn't even looking directly at Okan, he was looking at where the splash sounded. Okan slowly, and carefully walked up to the Jounin, knowing that he may have prepared another replacement technique for when he would use the water prison technique. This one was skilled indeed. Though the moves he was using were rather basic, he used them skillfully to avoid future attacks. Okan slowly continued to walk within the mist, quietly as the Jounin seemed to be completely unaware of Okan's approach. He held his breath, as he leg swepped the Jounin. He fell to the ground, and Okan would bring his other leg down after putting it up in the air, he had brung it down on his face. He then dashed back, as the Jounin turned into a log, he rapidly headed for the Jounin as he performed hand signs, although it was too late, he was caught in the watery prison before he could finish his replacement technique preparation. He let it down, and said that he had to go for now. With a sigh, he returned his face to the neutral face before the Jounin could see a smile. As he left he said good spar, and he made his way home. His training for the day was over, he was nearly exhausted, his chakra supply largining from the training, he had more to back him up in a fight now. The single day of training had proved rather useful for someone who wasn't even a shinobi
He continued on his way home, traveling in the sandy streets of Sunagakure, panting rather heavily after all the training he had done today. The sun had nearly set, and he hadn't even had lunch or dinner yet. He continued, walking rather slowly as the sky seemed to change colors as the sun was setting down, going to the other side of the world. He soon reached his home, going into his home and locking the door. As he had expected, no one had broken into his home, everything had remained where it was first put down in his home, everything was where it belonged. He went upstairs, locking the door to the roof top, then returning to his nice, comfortable bed.
