I will be the very best Like no one ever was

Montague Hebi was all alone in the wilderness at dusk, the sun just barely setting, with not another human around for at least a mile, possibly farther away. Though he was a good shinobi, Hebi knew that his skills needed to be increased if he wanted to impress the missing-nin he sought, and also if he planned on becoming the best assassin in this modern ninja world. He had his mist cloack active, causing not only his face to be obscured to the viewing world, but also for his movements to have a slight shadowed / echoed affect to their movements, with the mist trailing behind him.

Due to the onset of night, his blood started to race, his power rising with each second that the sun was lowering. Once he was finally at this full strength, Hebi began his training.

Kira darted back and forth within the large area of woods outside of the village. She had been working on deciphering the ingredients within her poison and had a major break through. There was a strange tint of green she had only seen once before, within the center of a Special berry found just on the outskirts of iwakagure, and this was the reason she searched. Calm eyes scanned bush after bush for her target, and with each she found to bear a fruit she would offer a piece to the bird on her shoulder. 

    On her shoulder sat the most gorgeous thing she had ever seen or imagined. She had fallen in love with her bird creating jutsu the moment she added the personal taste effects because of the beauty of the birds, and jumped at the chance to use it one more in order to enjoy her creation. Four bushes she searched, plucking a tiny fruit from a branch to raise to the dark colored bird's beak and petting it's tiny head the moment it took the treat, but with each the bird didn't seem to react. Finally after the fifth the bird took a the berry into it's beak and within seconds of cracking the outer skin dropped from her shoulder to the ground, disappearing in a pile of smoke. 

   Somehow she hadn't noticed the strange man as she moved seemingly in a circle around him only a few meters away. The girl was naturally gifted at missing things right in front of her face but the peculiar thing was the two dolls didn't seem to notice either as they said nothing to their master about someone in their vicinity.

    Of course Daruku noticed. She seemed to notice everything and as she floated along just behind her sister, above Kira's head, A smile passed across her tiny little lips. Perhaps this would end interestingly, she thought to herself.

*lub-dup*, *lub-dup* That sound.... a heartbeat..... someone is coming.... It took Hebi no time to find where the heartbeat was coming from, not to mention that the person was not at all trying to conceal her presense; leading Hebi to believe that they had no idea that he was out her. Then he saw her, female ninja who had met him at the gates of Iwagakure. He smiled his dark smile, as he remembered toying with her, first revealing his fangs to her, and then revealing his claws. I wonder if she cares to play again????

"Ohhhh Kira, will you not come and play with me? I think we can have great fun..." Hebi hoped that she accepted, as she was, by his accounts, a very skilled shinobi, and would help him get his skills back up to par, and even surpass his old self. 

Hebi noticed that she was still clueless of him being near her, and hoped to startle her, once more playing the mind games with his new favorite play toy.

And my oh my, how her blood sings to me....

"Wha ah!" She spun on reflex, her hands raising up into what seemed to be a defensive position as she turned her body. Her left hand grasped the weapon hidden on her arm out of reflex, letting the senbon fly with deadly accuracy through the forest aimed at center mass, or at least it would have in the event she had been able to loose the weapon effectively. Her foot slid across the wet earth as she turned, taking away her footing and causing her to topple forward, throwing the senbon off course as she let out a scream. The weapon once aimed for his heart now floated at the same strength and speed of one hundred and seven towards the top of his left shoulder. 

     "Wh....oh....it's just you? You shouldn't scare a girl...Really bad things happen. " She would wait to make sure he was ok, tending to him in the event her weapon did more damage then was acceptable before begining to speak calmly. The boy made her feel quite uneasy, to be sure, but that was no reason to kill...at least not without extreme cause. She hoped he was simply misunderstood and stupid and because of that she gave her best attempt at flashing him a bright excited smile, though her distrust was evident even through the facade.

Hebi laughed at his effect, but then at a speed unseen by his eyes, and only barely caught by his hearing, she wiped something at him. Hebi tried to dodge, but was only able to change where it landed by an inch. The senbon embedded itself into his left shoulder, glancing at an angle off his bone, causing him to grunt with pain.

The force of the impact was enough to knock him to the ground, his right hand quickly moving to grasp the impact area. The smell of his own blood filled his nostrils, almost driving him as mad as the needle stuck in his arm. She.... dares.... harm.... me....

Kira come over to him, causing him to slightly tense up; she would not come over to attack him, as she would of just done that from afar, or summoned that scythe from their last encounter. She clearly was coming to look at his shoulder, and from behind his mask of mist, Hebi watched her for any sudden movements, now unsure what she was fully capable of doing.

"oh my god i'm soooo sorry. I mean it was really your fault for trying to surprise me. I keep telling people you shouldn't surprise the twitchy girl with a history of abuse but i mean no one listens and now this. Oh...it looks deep. stay still this is absolutely going to hurt....." As she spoke she checked out the wound. She had hit solid with the attack, despite her loss of footing which was surprisingly unfortunate given the situation. 

Taking a hold of it unless prompted otherwise she would rip it out with a hard tug before patting him on the shoulder appologetically. Finally she would bring her hands up towards the wound and after activating her Mystical palms jutsu a bright yellow light would appear from them, quickly closing the hole. 

    "There....See! All better, but you should consider not sneaking up on people or startling them. it'll get you killed." She was on gaurd for any reactions he might have, both while she was tending to him and after. She aimed to stop anything that would hinder her helping him as well as any silly idea he might have to try and harm her. If he moved suddenly she would react by forcing her arm down on his neck at her full speed to keep him away from her and summoning the shadow circle behind her with two tendrils possitioned at either of her sides, but she prayed it wouldn't be needed.

Abuse??? Hmm.... I am going to have to look into that... Hebi was still going over this in his mind when she pulled the senbon out, grimacing at the pain. He was glad that he had the mist still activated, as  she would not be able to see his face.

Hebi sat and watched as she healed him, though with his regeneration abilities it was a pointless gesture. So a med-nin huh.... hmmmmm, I could have need of a skill set like that later one.... never stop improving....

"Thank you for the healing, even if you were the one who stuck me." Hebi moved his leg over the dropped senbon. If anything, even if Kira notices, it wipes his blood off of it and onto his pant leg. If she does not, he slips it up his sleeve the first chance he gets.

Hebi noticed her stance, and that she seemed to be ready to react to an attack. He supressed the mist abilities of his cloak and then stood up, he was now only inches from her. As they were nearly the same height, Hebi was able to look straight into her eyes, while she could do the same. 

"So, now that the pretty girl has patched me up, how about we have some fun?" Hebi could hearing the blood coursing through her veins, hear her breathing as her lungs filled with air. There was an innocence look to her, though Hebi had seen that it covered something darker within her; something that Hebi very much wanted to play with.

Even a great assassin-nin needs an assistant.... or a food source....

As he moved up and foward a small tendril of shadow would appear. A keen eye would notice the large black circle beneath them start to form, though with the darkness masking shapes the black of a shadow was dificult to decypher in the moonlight alone. As he spoke the tendril snaked upwards between them to move forward and press against his chest unless hindered. 

    "I um.....No thanks.....I er.....I like girls?" If he made any motion what so ever other then backing up the tendril would force itself between his bottom two ribs unless acted upon by something else with a power and speed once more of one hundred and fifty.  Otherwise it would return to her and she would stand to take a step back saying 

   "So what were you asking me before?"

"Ha.... haha.... hahaha." The laughter issuing forth from Hebi's mouth was not one of mirth, but more like one of dark amusement. "As much as I would love to see what you were capable like that, I was more interested in your ninja skills sweetie."

Hebi's dark smile returned, though this time in full few of Kira. He knew that she could once more see his fangs, and remembered the last time that she saw them, and her reaction. Hebi felt something push against his chest, and flicked his eyes downward to see what it was. A shadow???? So this girl does have some interesting skills....

Hebi did not resist, and actually stepped backwards. "Is this more comfortable for you darling?" He hoped that she was up to sparring with her, as currently he had not gone against a good opponent since his awakening.

As he walked away the shadow would form into a small dainty fist, which gave him a thumbs up. She set up to prepare for the spar, her left hand sliding into the bag at her side to count everything within to make sure all of her equipment was in place. She counted the senbon, weighed her bandage just in case, felt around for the rest of her medical supplies and then wrapped her fingers around the kunai for a moment. Next her hands went to the outside of the bag to ensure everything was set. Her fingers traced the small wires hidden draped over the edge of the bag, flipping the top of the bag over to slide it between herself and the back of the bag. Her final check  involved tracing the edges of her armor, looking down to make sure there was no holes, and finally finished her check looking for the senbon she kept hidden on her arm, between the holes of her fish net shirt. she noticed immediately it was gone, remembering she had thrown it and looked around to figure out where it was. 

    "I um....Yea...I'm ready whenever you are. well after I find my senbon. Could you assist please?"
