Taking a turn in the snow (Open to all Yuki nin)

Maku Jemuzu, new found leader of Yukigakure was taking a turn around the village, mostly just to get out of the office.  As a former missing ninja, it was different to stay in one place for so long.  Even while working for Iwagakure he had spent a lot of time doing odd mercenary jobs outside the village in the boarders.  However now he was a leader, and as such it was his duty to help the village ninja grow and become stronger.  It was while he was taking this stroll that he hoped to meet some of them.

Maku would have his hands in his pocket, and whistling as he walked.  Keeping his eyes open, watching the people of his vilage.

(For reference I look and am dressed exactly like my profile picture.  This is a CD post for all Yuki village so I can meet people and get an understanding to start putting together teams, and figuring out best way to decide how to rank people to chunin)

Kira zipped about at her full speed, posting fliers across the village every few feet with an excited look in her eyes and a bounce in her step. She loved Iwa, but Yuki was so different. She hated the cold more then anthing but the chance to meet new people and train with and train new ninja was almost worth it. As she ran, her strength of one thousand shinobi technique active, She noticed someone approaching and skidded to a stop. Was that...."MAKKKUUUUU" She dropped most of her fliers in the snow as she ran up to maku, jumping to give him a huge hug, only about three of the pieces of paper still left in her now clutched hand.

As Maku continued his stroll through the village, he closed his eyes, and felt the snowflakes fall and land gently on his cheeks, melting away.  At first the cold had bothered him, but now he found he liked it.  The beauty of the sun reflecting from the ice, and the beauty of snowflakes falling at all time.  Yes it was like something out of holiday tradition, only real life and an everyday thing.  His stroll was going nicely, waving and talking to business owners getting to know everyone by name. 

In fact it was a perfect walk.  As he was looking up and enjoying the snow fall, he suddenly felt a thud and he found himself falling, into a snow drift, his arms instinctively wrapped around his "attacker".  Laughing he smiled when he almost instantly realized it was Kira.

"Kira what are you doing?  haha"  He had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye, it had been a good day.  From the ground, he would adjust his scarf so it wouldn't be choking him.

"Hihi!!!!!!' She got off of him, appologizing for knocking him over and offering him a shadow arm to help him up while another would raise at her other side to give him a big thumbs up. "I'm just spreading some fliers around! If i'm gonna be here for a few days I need to train and what better way to kill two birds with one stone then to train with your ninja and help make them into stronger shinobi like i did in Iwa!!!!" She had fond memories of Iwakagure village. Everyone she had met was so interesting and kind and with each new face there was a new challenge, but to her skills and to working her shinobi way.

Grabbing the arm, he lifted himself up and laughed at her shadow.  Kira was always doing whimsical things with a jutsu that most would find slightly terrifying, which was one reason he loved her so much.  Loved?  Did he really just think that, no it was the reason he liked her so much.  Shaking his head, he returned her look still laughing.  "Well under the guidance of the powerful Kunoichi Kiranomo, my ninja are in good hands." He would say, reaching a hand up to ruffle his own hair.  "I myself need to get out there and start helping train people, though I barely feel like I'm worthy there is still so much I need to learn and teach myself."

Looking around he continued "That was actually my intent, I would like a chance to meet more of my ninja, so I decided to go for a walk, that paperwork is killing me."

"You're totally worthy what are u talking about?! ur totally scary strong." She smiled as she watched him ruffle his hair as he spoke and laughed. today was shaping up to be a great day. "Oh! Hopefully Kanae comes by. Theres this nin that I met....well it's not important, but I've been teaching her stuff and its super awesome."

Maku appreciated the compliment, but he knew it was ill deserved.  He was still just starting out, and needed a lot of training and experience.  In this world there was always someone better and always someone stronger.  Eventually that person would find him, and in what Maku would hope to be a glorious battle, he would fall and invetiabbly die.  His goal of course would be to keep that day at extended reach, but in a world of uncertainty one never knew how long they had.

"Thats great, I don't believe I have met them yet, but hopefully they will turn up today"  Maku even looked around expectantly just in case. Not seeing anyone, he held out his arm as a gentleman would.  "Well care to escort me around the village, its not safe for me all by myself, someone might try to get me."  Making a pretend sad face and giving her a wink, he would wait.  If Kira accepted he would walk with her to do whatever it was she was doing as he had no particular goal in this stroll other than to be out and about.

Just then, Kanae turned the corner and stopped. Ooh, there was Kiranomo, with a man she couldn't recognize from behind. (Yes, she came out another side of a building behind them.) Wow, what a coincidence to meet up again. Needless to say, Kanae hadn't slept much, but felt invigorated after last night. Strange, she didn't usually feel so. Usually, the nightmares wracked her body and mind, and she would always feel enervated and depressed in the mornings because of that. But today was much different. She considered approaching them, and decided to. She walked up behind them and spoke up softly. "Oh... Kiranomo... it's very nice to see you again." She would say this, bowing to her acquaintance (mentor? friend?) and then proceeded to bow to the man. "I don't think I've met you before..."

"Why sure, though I think you should be the one to protect me!!!" She linked her arm in his, but before they could start walking she heard a mousy little voice behind her. She let go of maku to turn and see who had adressed her. She had barely even heard anything except for her name, mostly because she wasn't paying attention. The moment she saw Kanae her eyes lit up and she rushed forward to embrace the girl if they allowed her, giving her a huge hug. 

    "Oh my! Kanae! how are you!!!"

Maku smiled and watch Kira bounce off towards the newcomer.  Kira was always so full of energy, it was always fun to see.  Looking at the younger girl, he saw a short female, who was acting a bit mousy.  Kind of reminding him of Kira in a way, as she sometimes would get to be that way.  Walking forward he stood, looking between the two.  "Is this the young ninja you were telling me about Kira?"  He would ask Kira, and not to be rude, he addressed the new ninja as well.  "My name is Maku my dear, how are you this fine day."

He didn't introduce himself as the leader, he would in a bit after all, no need to rush things, perhaps Kira would do that for him any way.  All throughout he was smiling.
