Relics of a different time [P, NK]

As Xyxer was doubted, his arm phased back into reality, the flesh back where the water once was. He was now essentially stroking his friends face, although this did not seem to be on the boy's mind, "Are you calling me a liar, or even worse, delusional?"

He hadn't notice his friend's hand moving against his face until now. "Umm. Well if the shoe fits." While speaking, his hand moves up to grab Xyxer's wrist. If he could take hold of it, he would gently remove it from his face. A semi-crowd had already begun to form around them at this point. He would have to try to diffuse the situation, as he always did, well attempted to do. "Look, tell me...what do you see that I don't?" His body would be slightly stiff while moving, and waiting for a response. He knew his friend did not like retorts so he would have to be mindful, and ready to defend himself if the time came.

The brow of Xyxer furrowed at Kenchi's witty remark. "A dead man." He slid his hand out of Kenchi's grasp with his other reaching downwards slowly, opening his ninja pouch in one fluid motion while retrieving two shuriken. One of them held between his pinkie and ring finger, the other between his ring finger and middle finger of his left hand.

"Tsk." The sound hisses from his lips, as he stands straight, while in a single movement, he tugs on the handle of both Katana drawing them from their respective sheathes. He would hold both sword in front of him, each blade crossing the other so that they take the form of an 'x'. He stares at Xyxer, a look of pity is on the verge of entering his eyes once he realizes his friend is deeply disturbed. He would have liked to not have to fight him once more, then again, he had challenged him. As per the unspoken laws of Kirigakure he would have to respond, or be deemed a coward. Not to mention he was subconsciously itching for a rematch. This time he would be the victor. The crowd surrounding them stretches out, twenty meters around them. Each villager looks in shock as they observe a rare occasion, two ninja fighting. He reestablishes his grip on the swords, and waits for the man to make the first move.

A technique of Xyxer's.. Riposting. Waiting for your opponent to attack first and you merely flow like water, evading the attacks until a crack appears.. Then you engulf it. A smirk came upon the males lips, although an involuntary twitch shocked the neck and head of Xyxer, making his head moving slightly to the side.. What caused it was unbeknownst to him, he didn't think he was like Muhammad Ali. He did a simple move, he flicked his hand outwards towards Kenchi and released the first Shuriken, having it propel towards the male's groin. The other he released later when the arm had lifted slightly, sending a shuriken to rocket towards his chest. That was not his focus however, as he soon moved his hands into the form of a ram, planning on drowning the civilians that were around for now.

Watching the man's fluid act of throwing the shuriken, he swings the sword in his left hand, slamming it against the lower aimed Shuriken aimed at his manly parts. The shuriken is expertly reflected, it's new target being Xyxer's right foot. The following projectile launched towards his chest also is met with a katana, the one in his right hand reflects it, back towards the man's direction. The shuriken's course being above Xyxer's left shoulder, aimed to slam harmlessly into the roof of a building. It was tiring, redirecting projectiles just to keep them from hitting a passing villager. Focused on redirecting the shuriken, he looks back at the man to see that he has already begun forming a seal. Immediately dashing towards him to decrease the distance, he attacks Xyxer. The first attack being aimed below, he attempts to slam his katana into the man's left foot, nailing him to the ground as a result. The second attempted attack, is a slash across the man's chest, beginning from Xyxer's right side to his left.

The boy certainly was a great swordsman, that was evident by how he operated as if the blade was merely an extension of his arm. Artistic.. intricate.. beautiful. Xyxer wanted his arms. He wanted to take them from him. HE is the last swordsman.. This runt will have to learn that. The first redirected shuriken caused Xyxer to spin his body around to avoid it, having it embed the ground just in front of him. The other shuriken made Xyxer duck in order to make sure he avoided it. He was as cool as snow. However, when the runt had decided to charge at him and attack.. He decided he would fight back. Unsheathing his Heavens Sorrow Ninjato, he manouvered it upwards; Sure, the guy had a sword going towards his foot but that was easily avoidable.. He moved his foot out of the way to lengthen the gap between his legs, giving him a more stable position. His ninjato traveled upwards next to the right hand of Kenchi, aiming to dig into the center of his wrist and eviscerate his arteries. The slash however, would be more problematic.. He definitely should have continued his jutsu, his fun was going to take a toll. Not having enough time to properly pull out a kunai and defend, he merely flicked his hand into his pouch and back out as fast as he could, flinging it towards the man's left bicep in an attempt to disable his arm. "What does death taste of, Kenchi."

The length of space he needed was created. The moment the man moves his foot, Kenchi turns his wrist upwards, while withdrawing his hand slightly, redirecting the blade so that it is now a vertical slash aimed to slice the man from his testicles upwards. He didn't think the man would mind, as he probably wouldn't make too much of a good father anyways. Unfortunately, the man had already started an attack of his own, aimed at his hand, having withdrawn his blade, the two would clash momentarily. While slashing at the man's chest with his opposite hand, he notices the man begin to dig into his pouch, and almost immediately afterwards reveal a kunai. He smirks, and raises his arm the moment the kunai enters the air in an attempt to reach him. It was a nice move, but far too slow compared to the speed of his arm. Continuing his slash the entire time his arm now raised higher, his target would change. Instead of the man's chest, his blade is now coming from above aimed to slam into his right collar bone, and tear into his flesh below. "I don't know. Why don't you do the favor of sampling it for me?" He says this in response to the man's words while swinging his blade.

This was good. He'd created a distraction for the male, his kunai swatted away rather hastily, but it did grant Xyxer a moment to gather himself and make a plan.. plan.. What the fuck was a plan? Death? Death. Execution. Slaughter to the lambs.. Murder! Swordsmen.. All of these things flashed through the males head. What would happen today? He was from Kirigakure dammit! He WAS the best! He was going to decimate his opponent! A purple beast raged inside of his head, acting as if it was straining his sanity as far as it could go. It had to stop. He slid his ninjato to the side as he spun away from the male's collar bone slash, heading to the left in a spin to be exact. He spoke simply, chiding with a grin with a new kunai now in his free hand, "I can understand why you were never recruited into the Seven Swordsmen Of The Mist now."

The jokes were over. After the man spun away from his slash, he makes a remark about one of Kenchi's deepest regrets. Something he had built his entire life around, but could not accomplish due to...certain situations. He looks back at the man, now to his right, bringing back both blades so that they are now in front of him. His eye twitches, and he stares at the man for a brief moment. "Can you? Like you did so much as one anyways." His words spit out of his mouth filled with hatred, his lips curl into a cold smile. Such a lack of emotion had not been shown by the man since his days in Kirigakure. Mentally, he forgets that the man in front of him is his friend, instead he becomes a target, for insulting his pride. No words could be said now to mend the wound the man had chosen to reopen. Blood would have to be spilled once more.  Though this time, it would not come from him like the many times before. His body side-ways so he is not facing him completely, he stares at him for a moment out of the corner of his right eye, and suddenly spins, in a single motion he is facing the man directly while swinging the katana in his right hand at the ninjato in Xyxer's left hand, with his full strength behind the swing he intends to knock the weapon from the man's grasp, and onto the ground. With his left hand, he swings the katana horizontally aiming to slam against the kunai in the man's right hand, though at the last moment before clashing he would redirect the blade, slightly withdrawing it his slash would continue, aiming to cut clean through the majority of the fingers holding the kunai instead. When he spun towards the man earlier, he made sure to reduce the space between him so that the man would not have enough space to easily fling the kunai at him, as he did earlier. No words would be said while he moved, his cold demeanor alone would speak for him instead.
