Onaka Suita....! (IO, P, NK, Komi)

(I'm lazy posting cuz my good post went bye bye. Sorry.)

Cheri was in a random outfit (my profile pic) that day as she arrive in a mini-complex of stands and stores. Her drying hair, smelling faintly of cherries, was pulled into a sloppy bun in the mid-back of her head. The Uchiha's face was still covered in deep, dark bruises, more purple than papery-pale. Fresh, unhidden scratch marks covered her badly scarred eyes, and her mangles wrists were all but black and were still healing from the chains that cut them none too long ago. After all, it had been only three days before that she was living in a cell.

She wasn't bothered by the aching bruises, though, or at least she didn't see, to be. In all honestly, she was just used to it.

Her scarlet gaze traveled across the stands, looking for her store of choice. See, they had been out of bread that morning, and Cheri was freaking hungry. She couldn't eat what was in the pantry or fridge, though. She didn't know what it was, but it looked like captor food... She was only allowed to eat bread and some very occasional fruit, other nutrients supplied by pills. So, seeing as all other options were not exactly there, she just went out in town to find herself a bakery.

However, a mixture of delightful smells pulled her from her thoughts. Her feet moved on auto pilot until she came to a window, looking into a bakery. There was a problem, though. This was bread, yes, but it was... sweets. She wasn't allowed to eat sweets, just normal bread, so...

Cheri pressed her nose to the glass of the window, gazing longingly at the dangos just.. sitting there. Just waiting for her to eat them... But she couldn't. She wasn't allowed to eat the food her captors had eaten... She couldn't.

With a rub of his eyes and a yawn, Keisuke strolled through Tengakure with absolutely no destination in mind. My god, his back was absolutely killing him. Last night, his bed had completely broke in half once he laid down onto it. He didn't know the cause of it but he was pissed beyond belief. How dare that stupid object break at such a crucial time of much needed rest? As Kei continued to walk with a pain in his spine, he couldn't help but notice all the stores open today. Was there some holiday he had no knowledge of? As far as he knew, everything was either closed or completely barren when he was around. Then again, everyone hated him... he could feel the love. He ran a hand through his smooth black hair as the sun's rays hit his crimson eyes. Kei didn't even pay attention to how many people he was pushing over while he walked as he was only focused on going somewhere, anywhere.

Luckily for him, he just so happened to spot a young girl standing outside of a shop. A perplexed expression overtook his face as he approached her. She was seemingly... ah, what the hell was that kid doing? Was she drooling on the window? Man, she looked like a - "Dog." he called out loud once he was an arm's length away from her. If the girl turned to peer at him, a crooked smile would be evident upon his features. "Aye, you know you're scaring the tiny infants in there, right, you little anorexic looking child? Oh, and may I suggest a napkin?" he pointed at his mouth to signal the small amount of drool that was on hers. Keisuke took several steps forward, eventually standing next to the red head and looking into the shop. There were various sweets that could be seen, ranging from cakes to sugar cookies. Oh, and the dango couldn't be forgotten.

The genin eventually noticed the girl's line of sight, which was aimed directly for said treat. "... If I buy you that dango, will you obey me like a dog? I mean, you're already drooling like one..." Ah, he couldn't stop pointing out the string of saliva. The strange thing was that there was an honest look of curiosity being shown. He truly wanted to find out if someone could act like an animal for a simple object, whether it be food or anything else of their desires. She was just lucky that Kei didn't bother to inspect her face, otherwise he wouldn't be able to shut up about it.

"Dog."

Instinctively, Cheri turned around, body tense and eyes only slightly wider then they usually were. She wasn't sure if it was directed at her or not, but she would take no chances. She got beaten for ignoring them.

However, what she saw was no holder or experimenting doctor, but some kid who looked like he'd just rolled out of bed. She let her guard down a little, but it would be stupid to say she trusted this person.

Her expression relaxed into an apathetic one, none of her emotions showing through. It was one she had perfected in her days in the camp, as the captors enjoyed seeing the fear they instilled.

"Aye, you know you're scaring the tiny infants in there, right, you little anorexic looking child? Oh, and may I suggest a napkin?" 

Cheri just blinked uncaringly at his words. They didn't affect her in the slightest. "'N do you know that you look like an old, arthritis-ridden lady who was beaten with 'er own purse? I don't care about babies' fear. I've seen a lot worse'n my own face. 'N no, I don't need a napkin. M'not drooling." She spoke like it was the most normal thing to say in the world, her voice flat but not deadpan. She just didn't care, and it showed on every inch of her.

And she really wasn't drooling.

"Ah... But I think you /are/ scaring them..." She said, her eyes wandering to a boy who looked no older than three. His purple eyes were locked on Keisuke and he looked about ready to puke with fear.

Seeing as attention was roughy to him, he screamed, "MOMMA, ITS KEISUKEEEEEEE!!!!" and booted it to a woman peering at a clothing display. The woman's eyes widened dramatically and she hurried away with what Cheri assumed to be her son. "Don't worry, Aka-kun... Momma won't let the scary man hurt you..." she comforted quietly, sending a glare towards the person she assumed was Keisuke.

She then looked back at the person before her. "Wow, /Keisuke/. What'd you do, steal 'is candy? While that doesn't warrant so much fear - trust me, I know what does - that's just low. Even for you."

"... If I buy you that dango, will you obey me like a dog? I mean, you're already drooling like one..."

Dango... So that's what they were called. Her face remained blank as she listened, but her eyes quickly began to boil with well hidden rage. Obey...? She didn't obey. She didn't effing obey. anyone, not anymore. Her discontentment didn't show through her features, though. In fact, she just looked bored.

...She couldn't help the small, vain chuckle that slipped past her lips, though. Raising a tiny finger, she pointed to one of her scarred, scratched eyes, her pupils flashing almost white against the early morning light. "You tell me I'm a dog, yet my eyes 'er those of a feline? Really, you're more ignorant than I originally thought. A shild would know the difference between the eyes of a cat and the eyes of a dog... See? My pupils 'er slit shaped. Cats." she informed casually.

Her hand dropped to her side again, fixing Keisuke with her intense red gaze. "'N no, I most certainly would not obey you like a mindless animal. I doubt I'd even 'elp you up, should you fall on your face in the path of an eight-wheeler. 'En m'not drooling."

Her gaze flickered to te dango display. "'Sides, those'er things that the handlers would eat. Meaning not for me. I can't eat holder food, just bread an fruit."

The moment that little girl opened her mouth, Keisuke was forced to bite down onto his tongue. Could she not speak properly? By the time Kei was her age, he was speaking sentences with such perfect english that it made teenagers many years older jealous. She was probably raised out of society or something of the sort. He could feel his frame shaking with laughter at not only the way she spoke, but the comment about him as well. The little boy practically pissing his pants in front of him merely made the shaking worse. A large smile began to show on his face, a smile that was unnaturally large and bright. "No. I din't steal 'is candy. I jus' broke 'is leg last summer." he responded with a light cackle. It was obvious he was imitating her and could tell he was doing it well. In fact... maybe he did it a bit too well. "N how would you know what level low is for me?"

As the child continued to speak, and my was she speaking a lot, her insults only make Keisuke shrug and look uninterested. He heard much more terrible things thrown at him from multiple people, either from annoying the hell out of them or hurting them in some way. He quickly flicked his eyes in her direction. "My apologies for not wasting my time looking at some kid's fa -" He froze. He took a small moment to actually inspect her features, taking them and burning them into his mind. That was a bad choice considering just how she looked... "Holy shit!" he shouted, "The hell did you do, get hit by a bus? Or did someone push you down some stairs? God damn, you really got rekt! You're the most hideous thing I ever seen, next to my mom!" He followed by letting loose a large fit of laughter, holding his sides since he could feel pain originating from them.

His obnoxious laugh soon vanished as the teen wiped a tear from his eye. Seriously, her face was the funniest thing he'd seen in a long time! His ears tuned into what the girl said about not being able to eat dango. Now that had to be the most ridiculous thing he ever heard. Only being able to eat bread and fruit... what about the sweets? A determined expression settled onto Keisuke's face before he marched towards the store's entrance. With a kick, he forced the door to swing open, almost breaking the poor thing off it's hinges. He could feel all eyes on him which caused a smirk to make it's appearance. As he moved towards the counter, he searched for some change in his pocket. He already knew the price of dango in Tengakure, 5 ryo each. It was so cheap that it forced him to buy it often! He tossed the ryo towards the clerk and snatched the sticks of dango that were located beside the cash register.

With a large grin, he twirled around and walked out of the shop, one stick in each hand. Once he made it back to the girl, Kei shoved one of them into her face. "Take it." he practically ordered her. If she didn't accept the small act of kindness... then would just have to shove it into her mouth, wouldn't he?

Cheri's eye twitched as he laughed. Did she make a joke? She couldn't remember one... And then, then he mocked her. He effing mocked her. The Uchiha knew she spoke in a different manner than those around her, but was that really her fault? She learned to speak from a three year old. "You're mocking me." She said it as a statement, not a question.
 
"Well, you certainly seem like 'eh type to break a three year old's leg. And... I suppose you're right. I don't know what level 'low' is for you because, obviously, there isn't one. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if you 'it rock bottom one day. Though, from what I can tell already, you'd keep digging. You're just that much of an idiot, aren't you?" Her face remained blank, the only sign of her annoyance her previously twitching eye - previously, as it past tense. She was completely placid as she spoke.
 
And then... Then all hell broke loose. Did he really just...? He did. He commented on her face, on her bruises. Her apathetic façade broke, her eyes narrowing into slits. Her maroon pupils dilated slightly, like an angry cat's will when they are ready to pounce.  He hit something of a nerve with her, and she was tired of holding back. Screw what he thought of her. Screw that silly idea of sparing her 'acquaintances' any details. Screw it all. "Actually, no. I wasn't 'it by I bus. I was beaten by a 260lb shild rapist and 'is lackeys about three days ago, the same time my best friend was killed. It just so 'appens that bruises don't 'eal so quickly, but thanks for asking. I feel the love; really, I do," she all but spat.
 
What a stuck up child. He was probably sheltered. Though it was selfish, she began wondering. She wondered why such a prick had what was probably at least a somewhat good life, while she and Konpeki lived their in a cell. She didn't wish her pain on him; she wouldn't wish such a thing on her worst enemy. But her mind was made up. He pissed her off.
 
Then, he turned and left, right into the sweets shop. She almost winced as the door nearly flew off its hinges... Almost. Less than a minute or two later, he emerged, a few sticks of dango in his hands. She had almost forgotten her hunger... Was he just going to taunt her...?
 
Then, one of the sticks was roughly shoved into her face, Keisuke ordering her to take it. Still maintaining the glare, Cheri brought up her hand near her face. Her sleeve slid down, exposing her mutilated wrists as she flicked the sweets away from her with her middle finger. It would only nudge it, really, instead of sending it to the ground. "Are you trying to kill me...? Not only did the captors tell me I couldn't eat their type of food, but sweets and sugary things would only make my condition worse. So, I ask again. Are you trying to give me an 'eart attack? Because I wouldn't put that under you."
