Two Foreigners Meet (P, NK, IO)

”God damn this sand, it gets EVERYWHERE!” Came the voice of a girl, echoing through the streets. Quite a few eyes would move to rest on the blue haired girl who was sitting at a table near a market stall, blowing sand off her food. That girl’s name was Rakka, and she was having a hard time adjusting to the constantly warm weather, the water, and the sand, good lord, the sand was everywhere. Finishing her food after being incredibly careful not to get any sand on it, the girl stood up and brushed off the annoying substance from her clothes.
 
Moving into the village was rather stressful, for more reasons then the sand. For the second time, she knew absolutely nobody around her, and for the second time, she felt like she needed to vent on someone or something. She decided to go to the beach to clear her head, or maybe even find someone to spar.
 
Stepping off the wooden stairs, she saw the sand was completely void of other people, empty and deserted. How depressing. She walked to the edge of the water and sat down crossed-legged, staring out at the water. Water had always been a source of both comfort and a fear for her. In her early life in Sunagakure, water had been both precious and rare. Having it was a comfort, but not having it was a terrifying concept.
 
She undid the cloth wrapped around her neck, pulling off her new Shimagakure headband. She held it out at arms length, and simply stared at it.

”…Third time’s the charm…” She muttered to herself examining the glistening metal for a bit, before refastening it to her neck.

The vast blue salty habitat around Taiga full of fish and creatures of the deep, but where was he? He was swimming in the ocean just on the edge of the village, his normal clothes a shore wrapped in a cloth and buried in a secret location. He popped out of the water with his medium length charcoal hair laying collected together by the water, he then began to walk out of the water his body still moist from swimming for the past few minutes. Taiga unlike normal was wearing nothing but a pair of swimming shorts, black and slick he never got to relax like this in Takigakure no Sato. Taiga is 19 and fair skinned, his high Taijutsu ability keeps him in shape as well. Taiga walked from the water his abdomen rose from the depths, as he reached mid thigh height in the water he stopped. It was some girl standing on the beach holding her headband, but why holding it? Why wasn't she wearing it like most ninja? Taiga smiled and began to wave while speaking to the woman before him "Hey! How are you?" the waving would seize after the woman looked at him but his smile would remain.

Rakka glanced over at the man who had called out to her, looking away for a moment as she retied her headband.
”Fine.” She responded shortly. She wasn’t much of a talker on the best of days. Normally, she would have simply ignored the man from that point on, but the lack of tanned skin caught her attention. EVERYONE here was tan, save for her, which meant one of two things. This man was a Yuki like her, which she doubted, as her clan generally liked to keep to the cold areas of the world, or he was a foreigner. Both possibilities interested her. ”Forgive me, but are you from this village? You come across as a foreigner, and I’ve been told this village is allied with Takigakure. You wouldn’t happen to be a Takigakure ninja?” She would ask. ”I’m new here.” She would say simply in explanation. She didn’t plan on revealing her former home(s), that information seemed like it could come back to bite her if word got out that she was a deserter not once, but twice. ”My name is Rakka.” She would say, holding out her hand to shake.
 
If he answered her questions, the idea would come to her that a spar with him would be not only a nice vent, but a way to asses what kind of allies they had, and make a name for herself in the other village. Besides, she hadn’t had a good fight in a long time, it would be nice to get a chance to push herself. She'd ask him in a bit.

Taiga looked at the girl as she spoke to him, he heard the words and responded appropriately. "Oh, yes I am not from Shima I am a Takigakure Ninja. A Jounin here on official business but I figured taking a dip wouldn't hurt. Sorry I could put some more cloths on if you'd like." He then placed his right hand on the back of his head causing his arms muscle to be more prominent as he smiled and leaned ever so slightly to the left awaiting a response from her.

Rakka nodded at the man’s offer to put some proper clothes on.
”Yeah, go ahead.” She would say, turning back towards the ocean. Once he was finished putting his clothes on, she would turn back towards him. ”So, you’re a Jounin as well?” She would ask. From the muscles he showed off so eagerly, she assumed he was a taijutsu specialist.

”Would you care to spar? I’d like to see what your village has to offer.” She would ask him.

Taiga got dressed quickly and was back to wearing his normal attire which consisted of black skinny jeans, a black tee shirt, combat boots his cross necklaces and the trench coat his father left him. He now stood before Rakka fully dress including the katana strapped to his side, he then spoke "sure a spar would be nice" He then waited for her response to his approval of training.

Rakka gave a faint smile, turning and pacing away from the man, putting about 20 meters between them. She would have liked to go farther, but she doubted he would allow her to walk the full 50 meters that defined her comfort zone.

”Prepare yourself.” She said solemnly, making a Tiger seal and taking in a deep breath. She would knead her chakra in her stomach, preparing her Katon attack. All of this would take her less then a second, before she would quickly breathe out, creating a fire dragon using Katon: Great Fire Dragon, blasting it towards Taiga. Although there was water readily available for her to preform her jutsu with, she was much more fond of the power that could be demonstrated by this technique, and it lacked the weakness of needing a readily available source of the element being molded.

The fire dragon collided with Taiga, with the man making no attempt to dodge the blast. He was left laying in the sand, his clothes and hair singed from the fire, but not majorly harmed, most likely knocked out. Rakka, still holding the seal with her hands, widened her eyes, staring at him for a moment. Well, so much for making good connections. She doubted very much that after something like that, she could leave on good terms with him. Oh well, at least he lived farther away. Still, the words Naoki had said to her about having enemies in the waterfall village rung through her head, as if to say “I told you so.” Well, hopefully this guy wouldn’t hold a grudge.
 

She wondered vacantly if she should go check on him, but waking up on a beach alone with a girl tending your wounds was not a memory she wanted this visitor to leave with, especially since that type of thing has a tendency to get incredibly awkward. Then she would have to explain she played for his team, not the straight team, which she really didn’t feel like sharing publicly to everybody she met. Since the man had not gotten up from the attack, but was clearly not injured or in any real danger, Rakka simply shrugged, putting her hands in her pockets, and turning and walking away, whistling casually as she did so, stepping back onto the boardwalk and heading back into the town.
