Kaien's bloodline (nk)

Kaien heads to the training ground to try and complete possibly her most difficult training ever learning and controlling her bloodline trait. As she begins her walk she looks around at how beautiful the day was and waving at villagers who seemed to take a liking to her. She kinda hoped Joe or Kira was there just for support. She has her usual items in her bag shes packed a total of 5 lunches just because she planned on being their for a while and if anybody was there became hungry. As she enters the training ground she begins her normal routine of meditation and controlling her breathing. (twc 108)

After Kaien finishes her meditation she stretches to loosen up her joints. She looks around again to see if anybody is there. After she finishes looking around she performs the hand sign for half tiger placed the sign to her mouth to perform katon fire stream. How am I suppose to learn this with no one to teach me? She then yells out of frustration Why is this so hard? She cover her mouth looks around and then laughed to herself cause nobodies around. As she starts to sit down to guess she should start with trying to combine her two elements.

She stars to focus her chakra since fire comes easier. She started with that once Kaien had that under control she starts trying to apply wind. On her first attempt. She fails horribly so much she confused herself. The next time she started with wind slowly building it up once she thought it was enough she started to apply fire. When she did it slowly took over and over powered the wind. Kaien sat their puzzled on how to do this. All her previous training doesn't equal up to half as hard this is and she just started. (Twc 308)

Kaien pulls out her katana is became a good luck charm for her in the past. Training with it she normally was able to pick up on what she was trying to learn by using her blade. As she begins to unsheathe it she lets her mind wonder wondering what her mother was doing and why she left her alone. With each couple of swings Kaien tried switching elements in her sword. Between fire and wind hoping to get lucky and fuse them that way but she knew it would not work. After about 10 swings she went back to performing her kata with fire then with wind. This was used to help calm her down and get her mind focused on the job at hand. Normally coming this early some other ninja would be here hoping Joe, Kira, or even Kiru would show up. She hated training alone, but it was better this way because soon she felt like she was going to be on her own again. With that being known Kaien continues to fight through not knowing how to activate her bloodline. I guess it would help if she had a scroll or something to give her pointers on where to go from here(twc 515)

Joe suddenly walks in to the training ground holding something that's similar to a scroll of some sorts and looks at Kaien. "Your looking better glad your ok." Kaien then shoots him an evil glare as she's still holding her katana. "When did you get out the hospital? Well I've brought you something to show no hard feelings" Joe says. As he holds out the scroll. Kaien changes her position and gives him a confused look. She then proceeds to pick up the sheath to her sword and puts the blade back in and places the katana on the ground. After she finishes rising she holds her hand out. 

Joe laughs and ask "Are you not talking to me anymore? You've spoke to me last time." Out of frustration Kaien starts to perform the hand seals Tiger Ox Dog Rabbit Snake for great breakthrough. As soon as the last hand sign is performed out comes a fierce gust of wind aimed directly at Joe. Joe drops the scroll and performs the same hand signs with faster speed Tiger Ox Dog Rabbit Snake to counter Kaien's attack. Once the two moves cancel each other out Joe picks up the scroll and begins walking to Kaien "I'm here to help you that's what your mother wanted." Kaien the reaches her hand out while turning her head slightly in the opposite direction of Joe still being a little stubborn.  

Joe hands her the scroll to Kaien. With it in her grasp she notice it doesn't look like a normal scroll. At first she cant open it then she notices that there is a seal keeping it closed. Joe then says" this is from your mom she didnt want anybody being able to read whats inside. I believe you can open it just slide your blood over the seal and that should do the trick. Kaien without even thinking bites her thumb with enough force to draw blood then slides it across the scroll. Once she does that she begins to suck on her thumb so the saliva can stop the bleeding. As soon as the scroll unlocks there is a message that states. 

I was sure you would reach this point one day and I'm so proud of you. This is one more step to becoming a true member of the Goka clan. This scroll will help teach or at least guide you in the right direction of learning to better understand our bloodline and what it can do. This will not be a easy task to master nor will it be fun but I know you can do it because I am your mother and I believe in you. Love you Kaien and good luck. After Kaien finishes reading that message she wipes her eyes from the tears that formed thanks to her mother message. She then looks over the scroll and places it down. She sits beside the scroll and begin her mediation.

Kaien now knows she must first harness her fire chakra throughout her body. Then make it as condensed as she could then incorporate wind into it to strengthen the fire. If she does this right then she should be able to tap into her bloodline then.  Kaien then starts the training of trying to consume her body with fire chakra which seems easy until she has to condense it and make it as strong as possible while keeping it under control. When she feels she has that part under control she begins trying to infuse it with wind keeping it under control. With this understood Kaien starts condensing her chakra till the point her body temperature starts rising .After she feels shes at the right point she starts pouring in wind little by little with her arm out and palms up. 

She is force to take a break because she stared getting light headed from the extra heat in her body. Joe then steps in with words of wisdom. "Once you master this the added heat wont affect you in anyway." Joe then backs away and continues to observe her training. With those words Kaien then focuses on training her body to with stand the added heat by just focusing on  condensing her fire nature in her body over and over until she doesn't feel the heat anymore. To the point its second nature to her. It takes a few times because every time she started to feel light headed she stopped and took a small break. Slowly but surely Kaien started to get the hang of it each time she was able to avoid the heat longer and longer. Till finally she reached a point where the heat didnt really bother her she still felt it but she could tolerate it.

Once she reached that point she then began with the wind portion of the technique She decided to envision a sphere and try to form that with scorch. She then raised her arms again with the palms still facing up and began. Slowly she started putting wind in her palms trying to manifest  a sphere of fire and wind,. Kaien knew it would be hard but not this difficult. Sitting there putting all her focus into creating a sphere then suddenly a small flicker appeared then disappeared from her palm. Joe stood there in shock not thinking this girl would actual get it. He then smiles and tells her to take a rest and let her chakra build back up. Kaien opens her eyes and glares at him then closes her eyes once more to focus.

She does it again and again with the same results. She does take a break goes over to her bag reaches in and pull out to lunches and throws one at Joe. She opens it grabs her chopsticks and proceeds to eat. Joe sits beside her and starts telling her how much she is like her mother. The one thing yall both have in common is all attitude and determination. She use to not give up like you and hate for anybody to tell her otherwise. Thats why I know you will get this and soon, because you are your mother daughter, Kaien finishes up not showing any sign of caring on her face for what he had to say, but inside she was happy to know she was just like her mother. 

Kaien then walks away from her bag and sits back down next to the scroll with her legs crossed. Kaien then takes a deep breath and begins to focus the fire throughout her body taking less time than usual. This time she decides to hold it there past the other times she has done it. Once she feels like it has reached its peak she start moving it into her hands holding it there. Once she feels like she comfortable enough holding it there she focuses on channeling wind in her body. The same way she did with fire but much slower since she not as accustomed to using wind as she is to fire. She feels every part of her body begin to cool down besides her hands. 

Soon as she feels her body temperature has reached its normal degrees she slowly releases it into her hands. Little by little she feels the wind and fire in her hands. Now she not only have to fuse them but manifest them into a sphere. Before she starts she realizes it would be easier to use focus both hand on one objective then trying to create one in each hand. Kaien then hold her left hand over her right focusing between the two. Kaien then started picturing a fusion of fire and wind in a sphere. After a few moments she had a clear picture of what she thought it would look like. She took another deep breath before she started trying to form the sphere. Then she slowly started trying to trying to combine the chakra she gathered between her two palms.  

Trying to maintain her focus she shut out everything around her. While at the same time clearing her mind of every thought besides making this bloodline hers and proving that her mother was right in believing in her daughter. Kaien was sitting in the same pose trying to perform this jutsu for over 15 minutes. Joe could tell it was starting to take a tole on Kaien but he would not step in and try to stop her. With sweat starting to fall from her face Kaien stayed focus and with time a small sphere started to form at first unstable but then she regained control. Joe was in shock that she was actual gaining control over such a dangerous thing as quickly as she did. He wanted to say you r almost there but didnt want to break her concentration. Kaien knowing she was almost done poured the rest of her chakra into her palms and with out knowing her made a sphere of both fire and wind chakra when she actually gained full control of it she looked at Joe. Joe nodded and said that is a sphere of your bloodline scorch. 

Kaien removes her left hand keeping the sphere stable she stands up and throws it at the sphere watches it burn. Then turns and grabs her bag and katana then leaves the training ground. (TWC 2078 requesting scorch style, 10 stat points)
