Kiru would groan a bit in pain, the aura around him a dim flicker, like a fire in the breeze. That had actually hurt quite a bit, he should probably invest in some kind of armor or something. Maybe he shouldn't try gymnastic things against someone obviously proficient in gymnastics. He slowly stood, his coat seeming like a waterfall as he got up. His chest was pretty cut up, and he thought he may have broken something. Kira didn't try to hurt him, but such a barrage of attacks wouldn't simply go unnoticed by his body. He would sigh and push more chakra through his seal, glad that at least it still worked. He didn't know if it would break under intense stress, so he was glad he could at least say that was a test of sorts. "Alright.. just don't be gone too long. Whats a student without his teacher? Although.. I think I taught you at least a little bit today."
His smile would seem truly happy, and for the first time, Kiru felt like this was someone who made him feel like home. She would always be there, at least thats what he told himself, and she would make sure Kiru became the ninja he wanted to be. She may not say these things, but Kiru hoped they were true. Since he had lost his parents, and he had exiled himself from his clan he had been alone. The only ones he had were rivals and obstacles. Kira was different though, she was one who would help him, but she wasn't in his way. She would simply help him along his chosen path, and he was glad to have support like that. He didn't quite know what the girl though of him, but Kiru had started to feel like she was family. Someone he could confide in if he needed, and someone he could trust. He would walk into hell and back if it meant saving her from danger. This wasn't love, he knew. This was simply the bond he felt between himself and the one who had made him strong. If not for her, would he be where he was now? He didn't think so. He believed that as long as she was his teacher, he could continue to grow stronger. Someday, he would be able to walk evenly beside her. When that day came, maybe they wouldn't be simply master and student, but friends. Two equals able to help each other, and confide in each other the harshness of life. She may not feel the same, maybe she thought of him as little more than someone to train for Maku. But he knew, whether or not that was the truth, he would fight for her safety. He could feel the seal in his body reach another tipping point as he reflected on these thoughts, and knew he had achieved more power along with it. He only had a little more to go, and then he would be that much closer to reaching Kira's side as her equal.
