Kenshin would stare at the boy with a slight smirk as he spoke, seeing how the boy likely saw him as a rival of some sort and wished to defeat him he chuckled lightly. Watching as Kyte left the area he would let out a short sigh and stuff his hands into his pockets. Walking back towards the village he would think back to when he had first met Kenzo a long time ago, even before they were genin. It was amazing realizing just how stupid they were, believing they were both such powerful combatants despite neither of them having even remotely powerful jutsu and physical capabilities most would sniker and make jokes at. I was in this moment that Kenshin finally came to realize meeting Kenzo again was a rather important objective to accomplish as he wanted to see just how far his adoptive brother had progressed and how he himself matched up.

Entering through the main gates Kenshin would simply return to his home on the second floor of an apartment building. Shambling up the stairs he would open his front door, a loud creek emitting all throughout the household and within the darkness of the unlit apartment Kenshin would easily find his way to his room. Laying down he would slowly shut his eyes to rest, assuring himself that he would not be out done by Kyte ever in his life.
