Jason was walking to one of the tall towers of the village. As he got there, he noticed that there was a person that stood by a platform with cleaning supplies on it. Jason walked up, and spoke to the person standing there. "Um, hello? i'm the guy who's gonna clean the windows." Jason said to the man. The man turned to Jason and said, with an almost bored voice: "oh, good. you're here. the cleaning supplies are on the platform. I don't care how you do it, or how fast, just clean the windows and then tell me when you're done." Before Jason said thanks, the man walked off. Jason had a question mark on his face as he saw the man walk off like he was just leaving some place that he didn't want to be in to begin with. Shrugging, Jason got on board and started. Jason bent down and started on the first row of the windows. As Jason was cleaning, he began thinking of what technique to use when he exchanges his main spec, that is puppetry, to Ninjutsu. Perhaps he could use the Chidori one day. perhaps. as Jason was going up the 9th floor, he was hit by a gust of wind, and fell to the floor of the platform and stayed there until the wind had died down. After it did, for about 10 minutes, Jason got back up and resumed his scaling to the 9th floor. When he got there, he began to once again begin to clean the window rows. As he was cleaning, he saw, in one room, a meeting taking place. The people of the attendance didn't even look at Jason. Most likely being busy with their meeting of whatever it was. It wasn't in Jason's nature to pry into business that wasn't his. As Jason moved to the next window pane, he saw in the reflection, as bad as the dirt and muck was, a bird flying towards him. not towards the window pane, nor the platform. But at Jason himself. the bird began to flap it wings at Jason's face and he tried as good as he could to shoo it away. Nothing happened, so Jason did something drastic. Jason grabbed the bird by the feathery body of the bird and punched it at the chin, uppercutting it. Jason then dropped it, and the bird flew off. Jason continued his cleaning and when he was done, climbed even further up, and as he cleaned the windows, Jason's mind was getting more peaceful as he was getting higher up and cleaning the windows. Jason got to the 15th floor, he almost made it to the top. Jason cleaned the windows starting from the left side of the row, starting from the far side to the left. Jason sighed. more meetings. god, how many meetings was going on in this building? Jason wished for something more interesting than a meeting. when he got to the second window, he saw a whole office. well, technically not the entire office, but a couple of cubicles and people going in and out of a few doors and so. other than that, it was like a regular working office. people carrying stacks of paper, people going to and fro from office to office, the usual. later, when Jason got up to the highest point of the building, he saw what looked like a medical room. either that, or a mix between a medical room and a gym. some guy was on the treadmill, some doctors were at the background, or rather, behind a window pane. perhaps they were doing a research in how fast a human can run without the aid of pills or ninjutsu enchantments. Jason didn't know. this time, the winds were stronger, and colder. Jason shuddered as the wind hit him on the back and face. Jason was finally done after a couple of hours. And it was almost getting dark. As Jason was going down, he got even colder. and Jason could hear a murder of birds flying by. hope he didn't have to encounter the birds. perhaps, if he did, he'd engage them in an epic battle. perhaps to the death. Jason didn't know. As Jason got to the 10th floor, Jason suddenly started thinking of money. he didn't know why, but perhaps it was the thought that since he was done with a mission, even if it was a simple c-rank, he was gonna get himself some cold, hard-earned cash. Jason started to think of all the weapons he was gonna buy. of course, he couldn't buy a lot of them in one go, he had to buy one at a time. he was gonna have a weapon for every situation. though, Jason wasn't sure what situation, other than fighting and fighting off bandits and other people who wants to kill him, could use a sword or a staff or any other weapon that Jason was planning to use and buy. 5th floor. Jason was thinking of doing a b-rank mission next time. not too dangerous but not too easy. Jason liked equality. As Jason was nearing the 3rd floor, he noticed that it got real dark, and the street lights were turned on. Jason was wondering what was taking the platform so long to reach the first floor, or rather the ground floor, so that Jason could get off, get payed and finally go home. finally, Jason got to the 2nd floor. Jason started to breath a sigh of relief. Jason was perhaps getting a fear of heights. that would be bad, especially if he was gonna climb up mountains and other tall things. if Jason wanted, he could jump off the platform and get on with it, but Jason decided not to. he decided to let it go by itself. finally, the platform got to the ground level and Jason got off the platform. Jason didn't see the guy anywhere in sight, Jason didn't care as he made his way home. next stop. bed and sleeping time.
