Coco Chills

Wind Style Chakra Blade. It was like Chakra Infusion, that much Coco could tell. Close enough for it to feel familiar, but just different enough for it to feel entirely different. It was more refined, sharper, longer, more frustrating. Coco had been trying for days. Her room with scrolls, and manuals. Each going into deep detail upon the subject. With the cats defeated Coco at last had a moment to rest.
Of course rest in Amegakure was hardly rest at all. At all times of the day something was breaking or sliding into ruin. No ninja of the rain village actually got a day off, however there was a realative quite. Once for which Coco was greatful.
She laid upon her plush bed twirling a kunai around her fingers. For once her figure wasn't ubscured but layers and layers of clothing, she was simply relaxing in her pink pajamas. They were fully covering, but to Coco they were next to being naked. She'd hoped a relaxed atmosphere would finally giver her the advantage over the jutsu.
Her mother had taught her about Chakra control earlier in the week. Even taught her how to infuse her weapons with it, make them stronger and sharper. She'd recalled learning how those with Wind natures could take it once step farther. They could make the blades really deadly. A thought which greatly appealed to Coco. Jutsu and seals, fireballs, and summonings. These were all things Coco had a hard time understanding during her Academy years. The practical applications of Chakra had always been more here speed.
Walking up walls, sharpening blades. These were things Coco understood. Those she could use!
By now Coco could easily summon the sharp veil of Chakra around her blades. According to the books her wind nature gave her a bit of an advantage. Which she appreciated. Coco was all for anything that gave her a leg up. Perhaps one day the Wei clan would be known for their ability to enchance their blades might. Oh yes Coco liked that notion.
As she laid upon her bed, Coco held her Kunai obver herself. With a bit of effort the Knife began to glow with chakra. Lately this had become her nightly ritual. She'd lay in bed trying and retrying the technique, until her chakra was all but drained. She was getting, close she knew it. Her research had taught her the technique, she knew the formula she just needed the feel of it now.
Infusing the knife with Chakra was the easy part. With another greater push, another shroud was added to the knife. It was considerably larger than the last. Where the other simply skimmed upon the surface of the blade, the second shroud extended it by inches, making it much more than just a knife. This is where things got complicated. Just a little. The second layer of the blade, The actual Wind Relase was a swirling mass of chakra, built upon a swirling mass of Chakra, built upon another swirling mass of Chakra. It was like balancing ontop of a black, that itself was balancing upon a beach ball. Now to your average ninja or clown that may not sound hard. So considering it was a chakra matter it would better be compared in a different way. It was much like the previous example only you're watching someone balance. Only you're the one controlling their balance with nothing but your will power. Yeah it was kind of like that.
Coco had the second layer firmly swilring about. It'd formed into the general shape of a sword, yet refused to lock into the shape completely. The moment Coco pushed to lock in the shape in the whole thing unraveled into a great gust of air. Every paper I the room fly about, propelled by her Chakra. If nothing else Coco was happy to know that her understanding Chakra was increasing. As well as her control. Just the idea that she could move papers directly without even touching them gave her a sense of power, she'd never quite gotten by throwing her knives around. A powerful ninja she could yet be.
"One more time." she sighed. She wasn't quitting from lack of chakra, just lack of interest. Her thoughts were increasingly turning towards bed.
"Step one: Kunai!" She raised it up righteously.
"Step two: Infusion!" The faint blue hue surrounded the blade.
"Step three: Failure!" Carefully pouring her chakra into blade. The blue shape of the phantom blade crept forth. "Come on you." Her Chakra surged forward. Through her will alone Amegakure would be rebuilt! "Form! Form! Form!" The blade began to take form, then shake, and finally stabilize. Coco's heart jumped. She actually did it! "I am the chakra master." She brought the newly formed blade to her hand, it sliced into her hand so cleanly she hardly felt it. The only clue to the cut was the small stream of crimson tears that dripped onto her sheets. "Shoot!" She exclaimed, deactivating the jutsu.
She examined her cut, it was superficial, but impressive. Especially considered that it was done by the merest touch of a blade made of air.
