Coco of the Jungle

Mission Details:

If there was one thing Coco was sure of, it's that her rain boots weren't meant for slogging through a jungle. Especially if she was trying to go about it quietly. Each step she took through the underbrush, squeaked and squawked. It was very unninja like. But they kept her little toesys dry. Sometimes it just had to be fashion over form. She was grateful that it was only a slow dripping rain inside of the jungle. The humidity and her own sweat was more than enough moisture for her. She didn't need the dreaded rain adding to the effect.

As She trounced through the jungle, she held a kunai in her hand. She'd been in this jungle a few times, and on each occasion she'd managed to get in a fight with some vicious animal. This time she'd be prepared. Of course in her other hand she held her big yellow umbrella overhead, even if the rain was light, it was still there.

A few of the Academy students had gone missing in the area likely, something out here was eating them or worse. Coco knew exactly what was eating, them a Giant Andaconda! The thing had almost eaten her! She wouldn't be surprised at all if it'd gotten ahold of some students, and some civies. Still Amegakure had so little people in it. They couldn't exactly afford to loose anybody. Actually it wasn't that some people had gone missing in the jungle, it was more the location. There was a small groupings of some abandoned buildings near the western section of the jungle. The uppity ups feared that some bandits may be hanging out in them.

"They're crazy if they are." Coco breathed, approaching the ruins. It appeared to be a large bombed out skyscraper, back from Amegakure's glory days. The whole thing had collapsed like a domino, and now laid scattered around the jungle. It looked nothing like any of the 'modern' towers they had now. It had to be at least a hundred years old! "What's thing doing all the way out here? Why am I talking to myself when there may be bandits crawling about. Shut up then. Okey Doke."

The ground underneath Coco's rubbered clad feet began to crunch as she approached. The soil was littered with fields of embedded glass shards. 'It's not a snake.' this time she was able to keep her thoughts out of her mouth. 'It'd slice it's belly otherwise.'

Coco had an uneasy feeling about entering the building. Who knew what sort of scary creature was trolling around in there. Probably a...

Very Large black Salamander!  From the gaping holes in the structure Coco spotted the distinctive slimy skin of  a Salamander crawling about. Instantly Coco covered her nose and mouth with her scarf, and slowly backed away. Well that solved that mystery. That thing was easily twenty feet long without a tail. By far the largest Coco had ever witnessed. That thing could eat, and kill anything in the jungle it pleased. The only question was what was it doing in the tower?
