There's no wa,, nnng." As she spoke she took his hand pulling with all of her strength to raise herself to shaky legs. She felt like she was dead, or worse. The pain shot through her entire body almost buckling her legs but she stood strong, not allowing her body to fall. "The boy who to rutted me as a child has become the worlds golden boy. The demon echo. "

Several things didn't make sense. Maku didn't seem like the type to just die, and he was pretty sure Echo wasn't a demon. He didn't know how to explain this and not look like he was on their side. "Kira... are you positive Maku is dead?"
Something had just come to him. Way back.. back in the chuunin exams.. Maku had used a technique that had changed Daiyuki from raving monster to a passive one. It had been a simple genjutsu then.. but now with sharingan. "I am on your side, but we need to cover all of our bases. She stepped forward quickly, her legs threatening to drop her with each step, though her arms held onto kiru's chest, her right wrapped around his neck just in case.

Went to gsther my things from taki, some piss an't child was trying to claim the kage seat so I resolved to go ahead and destroy it early.... Maku showed up and before we could even speak some ninja from taki appeared behind him. He cut maku's throat clean and stabbed me through the chest. I woke up here.... I assume it's been a day?" In truth it had been at least a week since she's left him, having taken thst long for the amethyst to build her back to full. If things went as expected at this point they would be walking from her room together, heading as quickly as possible out of the inn to begin retraining her body. The simple act of walking this far left her feeling winded, though she wouldn't show it.

In truth, Kiru was very sure Kira had been tampered with.. he had to get word to someone.. but who could he trust? Contacting Echo would bring him to Kiru and Kira would get herself killed... thats when he heard it, somewhere in town, a call to arms. It was.. Youka's voice. "Damnit.. if Youka see's you like this.. I can't stop him. he is going to destroy the village! I have to get you out of here. We will train you up to strength I promise, but we have to get out of here."

"What....." She heard it. Youkas voice calling out to something or the other. This was unfortunate indeed. She remembered the demons words but she could also remember so many times when she wouldn't back down. If it was meant to be this would be her death...... The cursed seal level one flowed through her body, increasing her chakra and strength, allowing her body to stand on its own though shakily. "No kiru. It's in the plan... Our plan, to destroy this village. I can't let them do it alone. I can't fight directly.... Not yet. But I can assist them as needed. If we get out of this I'll train to become stronger. Otherwise I suppose we'll meet in heaven. "

"W-What?!"
Kiru was more then angry, stepping away from the women. "You kill my friend.. then you try and destroy my home?!"
Kiru's rage was more then hearing it in his voice. His silver chakra radiated around him, turning to black. "I guess your no different then that bully of an uchiha who messed with you? Oh.. and incase you wanted to know, Maku has a jutsu that edits memories! So I guess they betrayed you as much as you have me by planning to destroy my home!"
The boards below Kiru cracked. His anger was way more then it should have been, his seal pushing his emotions. He couldn't keep it in check.. to think Kira thought he would be okay with this. The chakra flowing through his body was literally burning him on the inside, blood beginning to flow a bit from his ears.

"Kiru don't be rediculous. "She could feel the hair on the back of her neck stand on end. Her resolve waivered for a moment. "What exactly else do you think I can do!? Tell Youka no..... And then what, he kills me in cold blood. He got the villagers out. I can only assume we're to bring the nations back together under one banner. Even if she has darker plans what am I to do... If we run then we die. I have to trust my team kiru and you have to trust me. Unless YOU plan on killing me.... The one person who's taught you.... I killed agito. I also cried over it. He tried to kill me kiru. The whole world is out to kill me.... Everyone I've met had kicked dirt in my face or put a weapon to my throat except those two and you two students. I watched maku's blood spill over the floor before me. Watched his life cascade against the floor. It's fight or die kiru. If you want to stop this we will both die. U less you have another option we have to. There isn't an option. " the shaking in her legs finally stopped, her muscles gaining the power to hold her up finally. She could feel strength slowly returning to her body little by little.

Her left hand raised, clutching into a fist before releasing slowly. The vodka running up her forearm flexed and disappeared from sight with each movement. She rotated it slowly, checking her reflexes before going on to do the same with her right. Each responded stiffly but they responded all the same.

Kiru was shaken, but the aura had dissipated a bit. "N-No.. I couldn't.."
He slowly placed a hand on her, a seal appearing on her shoulder. "Thats a marker seal.. i'll be able to sense you as well as summon you if your in danger. I can't.. I can't participate in my homes destruction.. If you don't stop him.. I'll probably try and fail. Theres a place in the village walls... I broke a hole in it a long time ago with Ice. I'll be there if you need me."
He slumped against the wall, a look of being lost on his face. "Be safe..."

"Fine get out of here. Don't be seen. If I need summon me. I'll figure this out. I have to prove strength and this is how I'll do it. Tonight I show them what KIRA Imo can do. No matter what. Goodbye kiru. I'll see you on the other side if we make it." She took a great leap, catching the top of the door frame easilly. Her arms pulled heavilly, barelly lifting herself up. Come on... She thought to herself.

~Kira..... We can help you......~ selene's voice whispered softly into her mind. As she did the memory slipped into her mind again, sight of the woman standing over her. For a brief moment she could feel the hot metal stroke across her body, blistering her skin as it ran softly up her rib cage. As it entered her skin she cringed pain resonating through the entirety of her body. She felt the brokenness, the fear, and most of all she could feel every single poke and prod, needles and bars, the blood... There was so much blood at one point.

~fuck off selene.Do not speak to me. After what you did....~ she came back from her flash back just as she felt the last three fingers holding her up start to pulse and threaten to drop. Her body swung back and forth lightly. Fear filled her. It brought her back to her days in Amekagure, old days when she shook in fear. When she hid. The tips of her fingers slid another quarter of a kilometer, right on the edge before curling in. Slowly she slid them back, catching deeper into the edge of the door frame. Burning muscles pulled, flexing tightly, summoning energy from wherever possible to achieve her goal. She found the strength slowly, inch by inch her arms pulling her upward.

~what are you.... KIRA what happened with Maku?~ this time she was completely ignored. KIRA realized perhaps the transition from I can sort of walk to free running wasn't exactly her best bet but desperate times do in fact call for desperate measures. A small smile slid across her face as her neck edged over the out jutting ledge, her hand position changing to accommodate the difference in required momentum. The push point shifted from her fingers to near her palms, raising her slowly upward. Past her neck, her arms ceased to waiver, her upward momentum found strength again as her desc ceased to sway back and forth. Her chest peaked over, her arms beginning to extend to their full distance. Excitement poured from her body. She was doing it. This was her first step. As her foot caught onto the ledge her hands still held quickly she pushed off again, leaping higher this time. The large wooden beam holding the inne's swaying oak sign held her weight, swinging like a swing set from the upward momentum, her hands held strong once more. Perfect. The rest of the movement upward onto the roof was tiring but successful leaving her standing triumphantly on top of the enormous one building where she could see a distance across the village hidden in the snow. She wasn't sure what to do here but she knew this would be the true test.

Kiru would exit the room slowly, not sure what to do.. he had to leave. All of his students were other places, so they were safe. The people were gone.. the town was empty. But he felt.. connected to this place. But Kira... couldn't beat Youka. he had to be ready to save her at all costs. With that affirmation he left, hoping to be ready.
