Risa's Genin Exam
Sat Dec 20, 2014 2:00 am
Risa had awoken early in the morning on the day of her Genin exam, yawning she would do the usual routine of dressing herself before giving herself a smile into the mirror and saying a word or two of encouragement before moving out of her room and deciding to leave her bow behind today, as she was not planning on using it during the exams and would then have a quick breakfast before then leaving toward the Academy as she mentally began to prepare herself for her Genin exam, hoping that today would be the day that she would finally be able to pass and graduate the Academy.
Approaching the door, she would open it carefully and move toward her Classroom, where she awaited her Instructor that would hopefully give her instructions on what she needed to do, hopefully it would be something that she already had the knowledge to do, as she had just trained both of the required techniques for the exam and managed to perform them adequately on her own, now all that was left was to do the same in the Classroom.

The Proctor entered the classroom ready to host the genin exams. He was quite bored and just wanted it to be over with. He walked to his desk and sat on it looking at the list of names. "First up! Risa Hasegawa! step forward and perform the basic academy jutsu. Good Luck!"He'd abruptly spoke as he looked up awaiting for the student to come forth.
[Construct an 800 word post in which you perform the 3 basic academy jutsu. Do that and you pass. Good Luck! ]

Gasping sharply as she heard her name being called, Risa stepped forward and bowed to her instructor, uttering a somewhat timid: "Yes sir!" as she began to approach the instructor, her eyes wandering toward the nearby window as she gazed outside and noted the few flakes of snow that were falling down upon the ground and smiled as she realized that it was nearly time to return home and prepare for a festive holiday gathering of her family members, including those who had went far away to other lands in search of furthering their lives. This time of year was always her favorite, not only because of the snow but also because of all the good times she always had with her friends and family. After a few long moments of this she would slowly turn her gaze back to her instructor and smile, bowing her head in respect as she was told to perform the three necessary techniques that all Academy Students were required to learn and know how to perform before they could graduate.
She would then take a deep breath and prepare herself to perform the first jutsu on the list; The Substitution Technique. She would close her eyes and focus on creating the hand-seals necessary to perform it and a poof of smoke would envelop her as she was replaced with an ordinary log of wood, successfully having performed the technique and would have appeared a few feet away, where she would walk from and then approach the testing area once more and smile brightly toward her instructor.
"I hope I did alright!" She exclaimed before then beginning the preparations for her second technique, the Clone Technique. One of the two which she had trained the other day within the Training Grounds and had managed to master at least to her own extent; having been able to been able to create two clones that mimic her movements, remaining there for a long few moments before she dispelled them manually, although this was enough to warrant her believing that she was ready to test on the Technique and as she stood here now, before her instructor, she remembered all the past failures along with her singular success, taking a deep breath as she formed the signs with her hands and concentrated on the technique as two clones of herself would appear, one to either side of her body, as she began to move about to show off that they too mimic her movements and remained there for as long as she did so, until she would then dispel the clones and take a moment to breathe and relax, looking up toward her instructor as she was motioned to continue on with her exam, to which she nodded and prepared herself for the final technique.
The final technique which she had to perform was the Transformation Technique, another technique that she had trained within the Training Grounds the other day, having managed to learn it to the point where she was able to even fully take the form of even someone she had seen in a dream, a stranger whom she had seen only vaguely in her dreams and taken the image of and maintained it for a several long moments before allowing herself to drop the form and she intended to take the same form again today, since it was already familiar with her and she felt comfortable with transforming into.
Closing her eyes and concentrating deeply, she would take the image of the person she had seen in her dreams: A tall woman with long blonde hair and brilliant green eyes, wearing a blue dress with white lace that flew from the trims in long silken strands, giving her an almost unearthly appearance. To demonstrate that she was capable of holding this form, she would begin to walk around the room and interact with the students, shaking hands and smiling to each and every one before then returning to her instructor and bowing, saying in a warm tone: "I hope that this is satisfactory, Sensei." before she would then dispel the transformation and await the verdict of her instructor to whether or not she would pass the exam, hoping that she would as she had trained day after day in order to do so, practicing again and again with her techniques and - more recently - having learned them fully to the point where she was capable of performing them without too many faults, or at least that which she saw.
If she had managed to pass the exam she would then return to her instructor and take her headband and tie it around her forehead proudly, smiling a she tapped the symbol upon it and would think fondly of how this moment would be the beginning of a good change in her life, a time where she would be able to help others even more than now as she began her life as a Genin, although she could only hope she passed and at this point she was completely at the mercy of her instructor and his judgement upon how well she performed her techniques.
