The First of Many (Mishaps, that is)

Jason would listen to both Kasai and Tatsuya's words, his doubts about them being cast aside. He was glad to have met so many new friends in what started as a normal day for him. Turning first to Kasai and then to Tatsuya, Jason would say "Thank you for explaining the situation Kasai. I appreciate your praise and assuming the two of you aren't killed or captured, I would gladly go for some ramen with the two of you some time. I understand the circumstances and so I will not accompany you to the Hokage's chambers. Instead I will stay here a bit longer. I need to speak with the two kids as well. Be careful and come find me later on. I am usually either here in the forest or at the training grounds."

Jason would then finally dispel his shadow clones and turn to walk back to where Lukas and Risako were at. He was truly in awe of the two men's courage and he knew they both possessed the Will of Fire that Konoha was known for. He hoped nothing bad would befall them and that they could work together in the future. Coming to stop in front of Risako and Lukas, he would say to the two "I admire your courage Risako, but as Tatsuya said we must think before we open our mouths. Think about that for me will you? Lukas, thank you for trying to keep Risako out of harm's way. The two of them have important business to discuss with the Hokage so they are leaving now. We should head back to the village as well."

With that he would call Nami to his side and wait for the two kids to acknowledge his words before heading back to the village.

Luaks had stood up and assumed a position next to Risako waiting for the men to finish their conversation. Tatsuya had suggested ramen later that day and Lukas replied with "Sounds great!" with tremendous joy. Jason had approached Lukas and Risako.


"I admire your courage Risako, but as Tatsuya said we must think before we open our mouths. Think about that for me will you? Lukas, thank you for trying to keep Risako out of harm's way. The two of them have important business to discuss with the Hokage so they are leaving now. We should head back to the village as well."

"I was just protecting a fellow citizen of the leaf." Lukas said in reply to Jason. Lukas then turned to Risako and said "Now how about we all go for some food"

Lukas would await their answers before heading back to the village.

Well. Monkey man wasn't as bad or as much of an intruder as she had thought. She wanted to say something, but he had left before she could get his attention much. Also, something about his crazy demeanor sparked her interests. All the talk of the Akatsuki worried her a bit, she hadn't heard of them and she was curious, but they sounded like trouble. At a later time, at a different place, she would inquire about them. 

She didn't much appreciate the scolding she got from Jason and Tatsuya, and in response she stuck her tongue out at them. "Yea yea, whatever." I mean, it's not like she was in danger, this was a non kill topic anyway. But, she knew it was for the better, and she would heed there advice from here on out... at least until her bite matched her bark. As for Lukas' inquiry of food, her stomach wasa king the rumblies something fierce, even though she just ate. "Sounds good to me." Now, she would leave with them to eat or whatever.

Kasai smiled to himself again. Perhaps the village that he once knew as home had not changed all that much that he had expected. After having traveled near and far, it was, as he had previously thought, the friendliest and safest of places, because of this courtesy and understanding that seemed shared by all ninja of the leaf. 
It was a good thing, that was certain. Perhaps he could help it to be more so. Help to teach and train the shinobi here the proper way to grow stronger.
Of the proper way, he did not mean the countless tortures and mutilation that the demons had called "real training". No, he was thinking of the right way to train. With patience, and a friendship with your teacher, rather than the burning hate for the mentors he had met. 
Kasai knew that Tatsuya planned on returning to the wilderness, to grow and learn there. But Kasai... no, Kasai had other plans. 
If this truly was the land of fire, then it had a large name-sake to live up to. One that was forged time and time again by the teachings of master to student. This was his plan. While it may be impossible for Kasai to learn another element other than fire, there were others in this land who shared the element. And out of those others, there were those who would be in need of guidance. He only hoped he could find them. 
Or, so was his plan. To grow the strength of this village they way that true strength comes.

And so, with that, Tatsuya and himself made their way to the Hokage (who as of yet has not responded at all), to await their fate, and possible redemption.
