Radi’s Mishaps: A Hungry Troop

The rain was pouring down heavily as the clouds thundered with bolts of lightning. It wasn't a pleasant night to sleep. Hanzo did his best to cover himself due to the extreme cold but the freezing atmosphere covered his room. While he was sleeping, he could hear multiple lightning hitting the ground, it was dangerous for sure. As time passed, the young Uchiha finally fell asleep. The morning sun shone brightly through the window on the face of the young Uchiha who was sleeping. He woke up with sleep in his eyes. He wiped his eyes and he got up to open the window, delighted that the place was dried up. Only one thought came into his mind, he had to rank up soon. Once he completes the required number of missions, he will be eligible for the Chunin Exams. Once he passed it, it would be easier for him to get into the Sound Ninja Five. He needed to take whatever mission he could to hasten his goal. He changed into his daily attire and adorned his Tanto on the back of his middle shoulder. He left his house feeling exhausted from his previous days of missions especially after just completing a C Ranked Mission that tested out his fighting abilities.

He walked slowly towards the Otokage Mansion. The young Genin was still feeling drained from keeping his Sharingan active for a long period of time yesterday. He didn't want to activate his Sharingan for a while to recover. As he was reaching the Otokage Mansion, he could see a young boy from the Sarutobi clan running towards the Orchards of the Otogakure. He wasn't bothered by it and just wanted to take up an easy D Ranked Mission. Finally he reached the Mission Board and started to search for a mission that was easy to fulfill its requirement. Due to his good luck, he managed to find the one mission sheet that he was looking for immediately. He scanned through the details and to his surprise, it was regarding the young Sarutobi boy. The mission sheet stated that his name was Radi and apparently screwed up his summoning technique. He wanted to summon a shinobi weapon monkey but instead summoned a group of hungry normal monkeys which are terrorizing the orchards and eating everything there. He knew it was an easy mission and didn't want to hurt the monkeys, his plan was to just scare them away. He took a deep breath and left the Otokage Mansion.

Hanzo sneaked into the Orchards in order not to rile up the monkeys. From the bushes, he could see that Radi, the young Sarutobi boy was trying his best to scare the monkeys, but he was constantly ignored. There were about ten monkeys creating chaos in the beautiful field. The Uchiha immediately sprung from his location and shouted from the top of his lungs to scare the mob of hungry monkeys. Instead of being afraid, the monkeys banded together and threw whatever they were eating on the ground. All of them stood still with a fierce expression and started hitting their chest while keeping their eyes on the Uchiha. Hanzo knew what this meant, they were ready to fight him. He didn't want to attack them with his newly acquired Chidori as that would mean that when he would attack, the area around him would be severely damaged as well. He also didn't want to attack them with his Tanto as that would hurt them or he might accidentally kill them. The monkeys instantly started to attack him, they were trying to grab him so they could pound him on the ground. Not wanting to hurt them again, the Uchiha activated his Sharingan to dodge their attacks swiftly at the last moment so they would lose their momentum and fall on the ground.

He managed to knock out the monkeys one at a time by hitting their head with a right hand chop. The young Uchiha was careful not to injure them but put enough pressure on strength just to make them unconscious. Once all the monkeys were incapacitated, the Genin tied up the monkeys together in a circle with their hands behind their back. Once the monkeys were awake, he gave the monkeys a fierce look with his Sharingan with his Tanto pointed at them and warned them not to make any more trouble and if they did, he would handle them in a different way. The monkeys were afraid and understood the seriousness and left the Orchards. He advised Radi, the young Sarutobi boy, to train techniques with an adult or try them out with his teachers instead of doing them alone. He brought the boy back to his house with his parents opening the door to them. The worried parents were happy that Radi was alright and the trouble subsided. The mother scolded the young boy while the father thanked the Uchiha who cleaned up the mess neatly.

The delighted mother reached into her purse and took out an envelope and passed it to the young shinobi. Hanzo knew what this meant, he just got paid for the mission that was successfully completed. Hanzo bowed as he left the vicinity while waving back to the young boy. Hanzo adorned his Tanto on his back and left the premises feeling exhausted. He was delighted to finish yet another mission. This was his final D Ranked Mission and onwards would be his C Ranked Missions. Being a part of a higher ranking mission means that he would expect battle quite a bit. Just thinking about it made his adrenaline rush and his eyes automatically activated the Sharingan. This means he was closer to getting into the elite shinobi squad, Sound Ninja 5 and will soon rise in the ranks to a Chunin. As he laid on his bed, he was wondering what kind of battles he would experience and what new techniques he should acquire that would compliment his fighting style.
