Patrol (NK)

Patrol Mission Details:

Odin walked past the village gates. He nodded to the guards who kept watch over the town, "Keep up the good work guys," he smirked as he tossed a bag of ramen to the same guard he always seemed to encounter. The guard was silent but he knew he was glad to accept the gift.

Odin kept walking, cautiously examining the area around the border of the village. Odin knew he was going to keep everyone safe, he was stronger than he ever was now. Unlike his life before Kumo, he would make a difference now.
Odin did the hand symbols Tiger, then Ram and a puff of smoke appeared around him.
Through the smoke two Odins appeared, splitting up in opposite directions. The real Odin headed south, taking the high ground in the trees. The clone, which he oftened referred to as One, walked around the plains.

One surveyed around the ground, looking for any hidden traps and suspicious people. One noticed a set of leaves which was piled a little too closely together. One pulled out a scroll with one hand and put his other hand on the words kunai. The scroll lit up and two kunai were pulled out from the scroll. One held both kunai in two fingers of his one hand and threw them at the pile of leaves. The kunai flew like he had done some time ago, becoming one, a shadow shuriken reshaped into a shadow kunai. Both flew as one, hitting the spot in the middle of the pile of leaves like a double bullseye.
An explosion tag was hidden at the bottom of the leaves, exploding upon contact.
One reacted through instinct only next. He spun around, catching the two kunai which propelled outward from the blast. One ducked, looked around, and jumped up to the top of a tree.

Odin jumped around from tree branch to tree branch, closely studying anything that was around the tree top and the ground below him.
Nothing, he thought to himself as he made a trip around the Kumo gates.

After a short while, he caught up to his clone, who nodded at him, giving him the green light that there was nothing, "You should know I found a trap hidden in the leaves but nothing else," One said as he forced the jutsu to dispel.

Odin blinked as he received the information his clone learned. He looked around again for a few more minutes but then he decided there was no threat in the area.

He headed back home, weary of that one trap that One found. He was sure to report it to the higher ups as soon as possible.
