Looks like that jab wasn't going to work at all. Kou managed to not only parry the attack, but grab the boy's wrist in one move. That's one thing Kaito was going to have to work on later; his physical speed. The young boy could feel himself being pulled. There wasn't much he could do, seeing that he was obviously overpowered. Not much a small feeble boy could do in a situation like this you know? However, he could keep himself from getting thrown onto the floor. What Kaito lacked in strength and power, he made up for in reflex and agility. Once thrown over the boy arched himself, managing to get his feet in the right position to make a land. Both soles planted themselves on the dirt, allowing him to balance himself. When he did he used every bit of strength he had to pull his uper torso up. From there he performed several cartwheels, topping it off with a spin, to distance himself from Kou.
"Good counter Kou! I'll try again!" With a smile, he ran at Kou once more with a speed of 13. When close enough he sent another jab with the left hand. This time he followed up with a right hook to Kou's ribcage. Now Kaito wasn't really a fan of Taijutsu, but at this point it was all he could do. There really weren't any offensive Ninjutsu techniques he could think of that would be able to aid him. [i]'Man, do I wish I had some Ninjutsu techniques to use! I'm not going to get anywhere with close-quarter combat.." This wasn't going to go well. At least this would be a learning experience for the boy.

Slowly his foot would slide back as he took a deep breath and watched his opponent carefully, of course Kou had many tricks up his sleeves, but considering it would have appeared his opponent had none it would not be completely fair to take the upper hand when he had it. Therefore he would rely on pure taijutsu until the boy tried something differently, and when that happened he would use his own techniques to aid him. Kou made no movements as the boy flipped backwards, watching his body movements with precision until he had finally completed his last flip and tilted his head," If only this boy had something else to use besides this....taijutsu stuff then this would be a lot more fun, but i guess thiss will do for now," knowing full well that if he pulled a certain trick from his sleeves then he would probably harm the boy more than he wanted to.
With that being said he smiled at the boys determination to continue with his actions, this time seeing the boy run towards him, he would switch it up a bit. Instead of blocking the first blow, Kou slid to the right a single meter while bringing his left hand up to maneuver Kaito's arm in the opposite direction, deflecting the punch while preparing for the next. As the rib shot came into play, Kou's side would slide into the punch looking as if the boy had actually hit him. In reality though if one were to look at a different angle they would see that his hand had slid past his side, being caught into a lock by his right arm. Pinning the arm to his side, he would pull Kaito into himself, using the boys momentum to disshelve him and clip him to the ground. With the following moves in play he would jump back and roll his shoulders," Never been a fan of Taijutsu, but this is fun!!," smiling he would wait for the boy to get up so that they could continue.

Kaito thought he had Kou with that right hook, but he apparently did not. It seemed to be that Kou was highly profficient in hand to hand combat. The boy's arm was held against Kou's and even use to pull the boy in. What to do? What to do? Kaito had to act quickly. With his right hand, which was now at Kou's side, he'd grab onto his jacket. The left hand came around to try and latch onto Kou's side. Kaito would attempt to use Kou's pull to bring himself closer and hold onto the boy to avoid being thrown to the ground. During the process the boy's hat had fallen off. Unfortunately, Kaito's strength was not high enough to overpower Kou. Although he was left on the ground, he didn't really sustain much damage, as opposed to if he was thrown.
"Almost had it! Haha. You're right. This is really fun!" Yeah, Kaito was thrown to the ground, but he wasn't going to let that stop him. Maybe he could try something else. Another tactic? Ninjutsu would be his last resort. Different combinations could probably result in at least one grounding. The boy threw his hat onto the floor and took off his kimono. "You are really good at this Kou. Hehe." Kaito giggled and immediately took off at a speed of 18; zig-zagging his way to Kou. When he was in good reach he'd slide across the floor to send a sweeping kick. The boy anticipated a jump so he was ready to send a follow-up!

" I am not as good as you think I am actually...Its just simple movement reading and anticipation of strikes. Against someone more advanced in Taijustsu I would not stand a chance so this is actually some good practice for the future. Although my talents are elsewhere I cannot use those until you start slinging jutsu at me or something," of course even with his small experience in Taijutsu, he was far from better than anyone else who had practice this day and night until their movements were as swift as the wind itself.
With that being said he waited for the mext couple of movements from the boy, watching him as he took off some of his excess clothing and began to move towards him. Now as he watched his movements, he waited with anticipation as his fists clenched together slightly but not too tight. As Kaito began to get closer, the running in a zig-zag motion making him wonder what he was about to do, but as soon as he slid across the ground it was clear in a sense. Waiting until the leg had been mere meters away from him, he would slide backwards instead of jumping, his body moving three meters backwards.
Instead of countering the boys movements, he instead took the low route and moved backwards until Kaito had completed his slide. After its completion he would look to the boy and tilt his head," Are you sure that you do not have any form of ninjutsu or technique that you can use in this fight? I'm going to be honest this whole Taijutsu deal is starting to getting to get a bit boring and i'm on the verge of losing my mind here," and he wasn't lying because he actually wanted to test some things of his out before fully maximizing their potential.

Just a little closer. Just a little closer. Wait, what? Kaito's sweeping kick was avoided yet again. However, it had already been anticipated before the attack was even close to being executed. In his head, Kaito ran about four simulations on how Kou would react. Yeah, Kou jumping was the main one, but there were more. Kaito would not give him a chance to really get settled to plan any more defensive measures. From now on it'd be to attack and attack to get the boy to improvise his defense. Once his leg completely made the one-hundred and eighty degree sweep, he planted the sweeping foot onto the ground and pushed off. As he pushed off he quickly spun until he was facing Kou again.
Kaito attacked Kou while he was suggesting to switch up the tactic. At this point, he was in the moment. Bent on the objective of landing a good hit on Kou, Kaito did not register what was being said. Instead he lunged forward with a darting hand-strike to Kou's chest. The boy's movements were much swifter than before and fluid. He was adjusting to the battle. If Kou wasn't really a fan of Taijutsu, he'd continue using it. Having Kou in an element he wasn't quite comfortable with would work in the long run. Kaito was sure of it. All that was required was control, patience and precision. Those three things could be used in any CQC situation. "Let's see how you handle this!" Maybe he'd throw in his learned jutsu in this combo?

There were many rules of engagement however waiting until one had been finished talking was not one of them, and this was going to be a little...fun now. While Kou was indeed talking he would see Kaito coming at him, his mind swithcing gears until his last word and ended up being not just a fluid sentence but an innate reaction that would show Kou's impatience with people that had interrupted him before anything else. Once Kaito had slid into the distance and his attack was going to land, Kou did the unpredictable. Instead of simply blocking the attack and sending the young boy onto his butt, Kou simply let his own fist fly....straight into the face of Kaito.
His right fist would sling forward at his full speed, claiming its right to deck the boy in the face for interrupting his train of thought. Taijutsu or not you weren't about to just interrupt him while he was speaking. As if that was insult to injury, Kou would slide forward, pivoting on his right foot so that his body would be to the right of Kaito before delivering another hook to his stomach and sending him down into the ground. Instead of a smile there would be a grin on his face as he slid back and sighed regardless of the next actions," Interrupt me while i'm speaking again and I will hang you by your ankles in a tree somewhere...," while he was very serious about this, he wouldn't allow his...mild discontent to make this better.
At any rate he was now pumped and didn't care about showing off his abilities, his chakra beginning to pump through his body as he waved his hand to Kaito," Now get up and lets go...tired of holding back," since this trouble child was quite serious, he was going to show this boy why he was quite the troublesome child in konoha.

Agile as he was, Kaito's attack was forseen; he wasn't quick enough to get Kou while he spoke. As he closed in to strike the boy in the chest he was welcomed with a punch. Yes, a clenched fist aiming straight for the boy's face. Given that Kaito's momentum would prevent him from changing course or dodging in any way, he'd have to come up with something else. The boy would take the hit. It wouldn't be to his face, no, that'd probably send the boy staggering back in pain. Instead, he'd lower his head a bit, you know, duck, and allow Kou's fist to connect with the top of Kaito's head (slightly above the forehead). Being the thickest part of Kaito's head, it'd be able to take a hit, unlike the center of his face. With his momentum having been stopped from the punch, and his arm length, Kaito was unable to reach Kou. But he was able to avoid being punched dead in the face!
Kou decided to follow up with a pivot and a hook to Kaito's stomach. Fortunately, the boy never took his eyes off of Kou. The closed distance between them both would make it much easier to get a hit in and defend. The boy's reflex kicked in, he was quick! He took a quick step in towards Kou, getting in his personal space. Upon moving in he'd thrust his right elbow into Kou's solar plexus, hoping to hit him. Because he was so close, less than a foot, Kou's hook punch would completely miss. As for a potential clothesline, Kaito moved his left hand up to stop the arm in its path. "I apologize for doing that! But in battle, your enemy will not bother listening!" How weird. A young boy like Kaito who just recently became a Genin, was thinking like an experienced fighter. Kou would either take it as being disrespectful, or Kaito just being wise.
If the hit connected Kaito would follow up by swinging his knuckle upwards to hit Kou dead in the face (Iconic Bruce Lee move). But if Kou somehow managed to avoid the hit, the boy would either dart back to distance himself from him, or use a jutsu. It all depended on Kou's action. This was getting good!

While the dodge was good, Kou's fist had still hit its mark which was all he wanted it to do at first. The connection of fist to forehead which while it stopped his momentum, it did not exactly push the boy into the ground. Knowing this key fact he continued with his motions and drove his fist into the boys chest, but due to positioning the fist would go into the boy's side and thus push him away. With the energy required to fight at such a close range, Kou figured it was about time that he actually switched to a more unique strategy and thus devised another tactic. After the swift end to his attack, he moved towards the wooded area of the training grounds in order to have a more insightful battle.
The time he spend walking he had secretly been calculating the exact amount of trees and the time it could potentially take to get from one to another and combined with his unique bloodline he could get from one to the other without missing a beat and attacking when neccesary. With his current speed he would reach the first tree and jump inside of it, moving from one to another while prepping his body for the first example of the uses of a chain, needless to say that what he was about to do depending on Kaito's next action would no doubt be one of the many downright weird things to do while in hiding. The foilage of the trees gave a perfect cover for his body although the sounds of him moving through the trees would go unhindered as he waited and watched the boys next movements.

Kaito was showing improvement in his Taijutsu. Able to go at it with Kou for his first major spar, now that was pretty good, despite Kou being a novice when it came to Taijutsu. Young Kaito was able to avoid serious damage with his movements and counters. What could have been a serious hit to his side, was quickly blocked by the boy's arm. Still, that one punch was able to send Kaito back! Incredible! Could it be that this was the kind of power Kou was working with? Or was Kaito just that frail? No matter, it was still impressive. The boy slid against the grass, about three meters out! "Wow! You've got some power Kou! Huh?" Was Kou retreating? No, it couldn't be! Kou must have been changing the area. Smart.
Kaito watched him move into a more wooded area. Trees could easily cover him in there and provide good hiding. If this were a true battle Kaito would resort to Katon based Ninjutsu, but he would't want to harm Kou, nor the trees. At this point he'd have to pursue Kou. The boy, with caution, approached the area. He knelt beside the tree, taking cover. First thing he'd do is scan the area for any kind of traps. It was a shame he didn't have any kind of equipment. Could have came in handy at this point. Kaito would have to change his strategy. "Smart move Kou! You're really good at this stuff you know? Hehe."

"Not being smart, playing in my own way," of course as he said this he would continue to move from tree to tree, his eyes never leaving Kaito as he moved. With no weapons he would simply wait for Kaito to make a move of some sort, while prepping his own unique caliber of jutsu for a special occassion. After moving through his fourth tree he would stop and watch the males movement with precision and waiting until he had made a move and once he did the real game would begin.
