Mission: It's A Bomb (Akihana and Coco) Empty Mission: It's A Bomb (Akihana and Coco)

Sun Jan 25, 2015 9:33 am
Mission Details:

The watchtowers cast a long shadow on the road where Akihana paced, her usual cheery air for once dissipated and her normal smile replaced with a somber expression that decorated her features. It had been a normal day, the kunoichi reflected even as her chakra sensory picked up the ANBU hidden so well from sight. Why they chose to wait on walls and rooftops, she could not begin to guess. She supposed they enjoyed the solitude of such places. The blonde herself had no problem walking on the ground or sitting on a bench despite obtaining a similar rank. While she could appreciate their ability to scale walls and move via body flicker, Akihana was always of the opinion that one should walk when walking was an option. Doing what they did, ninja often felt isolated as it was. No point in adding to that by mindfully avoiding social interaction.

The kunoichi had walked into work that morning to find the Raikage pacing much as she was doing now. No usual good mornings and no request for the coffee she had finally perfected. No usual stack of papers cluttered his desk and Akihana had known, just known, that beneath the concern there was rage. And that rage usually only surfaced when Kumo and its people were in danger. The blonde hadn’t asked if something was wrong, it was obvious that something clearly was. She hadn’t even asked what it was because the young man would explain it to her if need be. The first words out of her lips had been “what can I do to help?”, her natural response to anyone in distress. With her gentle prompting, the story of a bomb threat had come out. Akihana understood the need to keep the citizens and especially civilians in the dark. There would be mass panic and more people would get hurt trying to outrun the bomb than from the actual detonation. It also meant that the people of cloud would have no warning fi the bomb did go off.

“I’ll… see what I can do,” the blonde had offered, her ehad lowered in preemptive apology if she failed. There were very few people that could eb trusted with such sensitive information and their concern would be if the people found out prematurely. It also meant Akihana had to find the bomb and dispose of it without anyone knowing. Well, almost anyone. Though there was nothing wrong with solo missions, there was also wisdom in not rushing into a dangerious situation alone. With a brief nod from the Raikage, the medic had made her way out of his office and to her desk, bringing up the mission roster on her slim silver laptop. Most of the higher ranking shinobi wre on villages or otherwise occupied. One name stoof out to her though.

“Kaide-chan,” she called out to one of the messenger genin around the office and the little girl came bounding up to Akihana with a big smile, no doubt expecting her usual cookie. “Could you please take this scroll to Coco Wei, tell her I’ll meet her by the watchtower in twenty minutes.”

“Okay Akari-san,” the pig tailed girl replied, waiting for her usual treat. Catching on, Akihana reached for the jar of Snicker Doodles she had baked a few days ago and handed two to the genin. “There you go,” the blonde smiled, making the girl giggle. She watched the genin leave and then departed to the changing room to don her own gear before heading to the meeting place specified.

Akihana hadn’t seen Coco in months despite her initial resolution to look in on the kunoichi. But incoming updates at the Raikage office had assured her that the Ame turned Kumo nin was keeping well. She was doing missions, training and cut quite the popular figure besides judging by the fame she was slowly amassing. At least that was enough to gladden the blonde’s heart on this worrying occasion. Coco had always seemed like a child to her, someone who needed to be protected and loved. But it seemed she was slowly growing into a young woman who could protect herself and others around her. Akihana wondered if the Rain nin would even remember her as she waited underneath the watchtower, politely pretending she couldn’t sense the chakra of the ANBU hidden in the shadows.

Mission: It's A Bomb (Akihana and Coco) Empty Re: Mission: It's A Bomb (Akihana and Coco)

Sun Jan 25, 2015 10:32 am
At top speed coco tore her way through the Streets of Kumo towards the watchtower. Her powerful legs too long strides with each step. At some point one of her yellow rain boots flew right off of her foot, and into the air. She considered stopping and grabbing the boot, but both time and a bomb were ticking. So all she could do was fling her other boot off of her foot and on to the roof of a bakery near by for safe keeping. The loud slapping of her feet against the pavement could be hear from a block away. She was just grateful that kumo wasn't paved with gravel roads.

When the pig tailed genin had arrived and handed her the message Coco had just been stepping out of a grocery store. She'd bought a blender on sale the night before and was now stocking up on all sorts of nutrient dense fruits and vegetables to make smoothies out of. She may have gone a little overboard because even with her impressive strength she could still feel the grocery bags weighting heavily on both of her arms. "A mission?" She announced giving the young genin her thanks with a nod, before unfurling the scroll.

The first thing that caught her eye was that this was going to be an S-Rank mission. Her skin prickled with excitement. Hahaha! Her talent finally recognized throughout the land. She was making the Wei clan proud. That brief moment of excitement only last for so long however. She read through the rest of the mission scroll and found it fearless awesome than she'd been planning. A Bomb! Up until now Coco's only missions in Kumo had been roughing up criminals who broke the law. Well she said rough up, but they were all dead now. She'd never been handed something so time sensitive, and vital!

In a second she was gone in a cartoonish puff of smoke, leaving her dozen veggie filled bags to clatter to the floor. Blending could wait for later, for now she had a village to save! She'd been unable to be there when her own village needed her, and her people paid the price for that. There was no way that she was going to let the people of her adopted home suffer from a failure of hers too. She'd been trying to leave ame for several days now but it seemed that every time she was just about ready to go, something else came up that kept her here. It was slightly annoying, but Coco didn't seem to mind too much. How could she save her own village when this one was still in such a mess?

That's what she told herself at least. In truth she'd become very skilled at finding excuses to not travel back home just yet. Like there being a blender on sale, or there being a bomb in a city. Just about anything that would keep her from going home from one more day had become a valid reason to stay in Kumo. It wasn't even that she liked Kumo that much. The people were nice, in fact she loved them. In fact she'd found love here in the Form of Akira. But she found the place hot, the architecture dull, and she always felt light headed being this high up in the mountains. Still she could put up with all of that if it meant not going back home.

She knew in her heart of heart going back would be the worse experience of her life.  Worse case scenario was that everyone would be dead, and she'd have the bodies of her entire city to lay to rest. The best case was that some of her people had managed to live and that they would blame her for all that had happened. She'd come to Kumo to grab some help for her city and she'd be coming home empty handed. The only thing she had to show for her mission was some extra money in her own pocket, and a boyfriend on her arm. Somewhere along the way she'd forgotten why she'd gone to Kumo at all.

She shook the vile thoughts away from her head as she turned around the final bend to the watchtower. With a tug from her delicate hands she pulled her scarf up over her mouth and pulled it tight against her face, ensuring that it wouldn't be falling down. Up ahead already waiting for her was a blonde ninja whom she assumed to be the squad leader for today's mission. She recognized the woman, she'd seen her around the city several times, but had never spoken to her personally. Coco preferred working with people she was familiar with, but never minded meeting new people. Then again this wasn't the sort of situation where people went out seeking friends, so maybe that point was moot.

"I got her as quickly as possible." Coco announced huffing slightly. They just had to make the meeting spot on the polar opposite side of the city, didn't' they?  "I'm fully informed on the situation ma'am." She gave a crisp salute. "My weapon specialist training involved being able to disarm several types of explosive devices, so you're in good hands!" At least that's why Coco assumed she'd been assigned to this mission. Sure she had wit and Charisma, but when I came down to it? Coco was a pretty good ninja from time to time.

Mission: It's A Bomb (Akihana and Coco) Empty Re: Mission: It's A Bomb (Akihana and Coco)

Sun Jan 25, 2015 11:31 am
The kunoichi Akihana had been waiting for arrived in a flurry of hoodies and scarves and most surprisingly of all, without shoes. The blonde barely had time to register her running frame before Coco was in front of her and introducing herself. Akihana smiled at the chunin in greeting, not at all offended that Coco hadn't remembered her form the brief time they had met a the Raikage office. The young girl had probably had a lot more things to worry about them keeping in mind some random woman who had offered her muffins once.

"Hello Coco, I'm Akihana," she introduced herself with her usual kind smile and warm vocal tone. Her expression still remained serious as Coco launched into how she was aware of the mission details and her specialty with weapons would come in handy when diffusing the bomb. It was her ability that had caught Akihana's attention when she'd checked the mission roster for a potential partner on this mission in addition to her general wanting to see how the young girl was fairing in Cloud. Coco practically exuded haste where she stood, prompting Akihana to lay a hand on the younger kunoichi's shoulder.

"The reason this isn't a wide scale mission is because we cannot have ANBU crawling and flickering all over the village. That's why we have to make our trip look casual. I believe that simply because this is a bomb threat and not a bomb yet is because the people behind it want something. Thus we have at least some time. So if they don't know we're out trying to locate and diffuse it, we can't let them catch on."

Waiting for Coco to digest the bit of information, the blonde than glanced at the chunin's feet. "Showing up without shoes would be suspicious," she added, a slight softness in her tone to convey she was more joking than admonishing the young teen. Reaching out her hands more out of habit than anything else, the medic began to trace an outline of a simple pair of sandals in front of her, her golden eyes glinting as she activated her light construction ability. One of the things Akihana had been practicing with most of late had been creating light constructs, nothing quite as dramatic of battle ready as swords or horns, just little things around the house to test that they did not burn and pierce anyone unintentionally. In a minute, Akihana had fashioned a perfect pair of reflective glass sandals.

"Here, try these," she offered, hoping the size would fit. She had fashioned them with her own feet in mind but if they could fit her, they could likely be comfortable on a slender teen like Coco. "They look fragile but they'll hold. And if you kick someone with them, they also cut," she warned. Waiting for the Ame turned Kumo nin to put on the shoes, Akihana casually slung an arm around her shoulder as if taking her little sister for a walk and both kunoichi left the safety of the shadow cast by the watchtower and its complement of hidden ANBU. Hopefully this threat would be dealt with soon without anyone ever being the wiser that it had ever existed.

Mission: It's A Bomb (Akihana and Coco) Empty Re: Mission: It's A Bomb (Akihana and Coco)

Sun Jan 25, 2015 9:39 pm
Coco raised her eyebrows, ever so slightly impressed  by Akihanna's sudden shoe summoning abilities. That was a handy looking ability. Coco slid the strange crystalline shoes onto her dainty feet. They were pretty cute but so...... Giiiiiirly. They fit well enough though, and were better than slapping her bare feet upon the road the whole way along. She took a moment get a look of the shoes on her. She didn't see how they were any less attention getting than her going barefoot, but what did she know? She figured that her outfit was strange enough as it was that another out of place article of clothing wouldn't cause too much interest.

She followed behind Akihanna as .they traveled through Kumo. The sun was shining the birds were singing and somewhere in the world there were villains hard at work to disrupt it all. Little did they know that there were two heroines out and about that would put their vile villainous plan to a swift end. Peace would be restored and Coco would finally feel like her debt to her adoptive city would be repaid.

Slowly the buildings began to grow more and more weary looking. The streets started looking shadier as they passed through, and before long it was quite clear that they'd entered into the slums of the city. Boarded up and abandoned buildings, bums on the streets, the usual. Coco was pretty impressed, even the slums looked better than large sections of Ame!

Mission: It's A Bomb (Akihana and Coco) Empty Re: Mission: It's A Bomb (Akihana and Coco)

Mon Jan 26, 2015 1:03 pm
It took them about a half an hour as they took the scenic route to the bad part of the village. Akihana had always been vaguely aware that her own tiny apartment was not the best situated when it came to Kumogakure's geography but it was the best she could afford at a barmaid's salary and tips back then. The kunoichi had since made the place a home and thanks to recent events, was even considering moving out to a better place, maybe somewhere with a garden where her son could run around and play or train in. Ever since Fenn had taught him surface walking, the blonde couldn't count the times she'd walked into his bedroom to find him scaling the wall, the blood rushing to his head as Arata attempted to walk on the ceiling upside down.

As they walked, she kept up a steady stream of polite conversation, asking Coco how she was fairing in Kumo, pointing out where she herself lived as they passed through that part of town and inviting her to join her one few these days on her baking sessions. She also asked the young chunin where she was living, hoping Coco had settled in somewhere safe and convenient. All in all, it looked like they were simply out for a stroll, the only hint of them being on a mission Akihana's activated bloodline limit as she detected light patterns through the air. Tracking was no use at this point but that didn't mean light didn't reveal anything. As they reached the more run down area of the village, the blonde was forced to reexamine her own lifestyle. She may not have had much but she at least had more than the people who lived here.

"So I had to tell him that water and trees were not the same thing. Still doesn't stop him from trying to walk on water when I fill the bath tub," she finished yet another tale of Arata and his recent adventures. "He's just so excited for his genin exams, I sometimes think he's like a firecracker waiting to go off."

As they reached the area where the gang was rumored to operate, the kunoichi saw two suspiciously tattooed teens hanging around a dilapidated building, her golden gaze zeroing in on the structure itself. It was not the best situated for a bomb to detonate but would nevertheless claim innocent lives. Whether them placing the bomb here meant they didn't actually plan to set it off, simply feeding off the fear and anxiety the threat created, or they simply weren't smart enough to take full advantage of the explosion's range to inflict maximum damage was anybody's guess. All Akihana had to ensure was if the bomb was in there, and then send in Coco to diffuse it while she kept the gang members distracted.

Her golden eyes scanned the door, predictably detecting more people shapes in the light surrounding the area. The two teens who were "hanging around" were not the only ones, at least three more had been there fairly recently, and the blonde was fairly certain she could make out more light pattern's towards the back. At least two more keeping watch.

"This building looks too heavily guarded to be a warehouse only," she spoke quietly to Coco as they scoped the place out. her expression remained calm, the same friendly smile on her face that had been there throughout their walk to this area. "Shall we go nicely and ask permission to see the boss? Might be our best way in to the bomb."

Mission: It's A Bomb (Akihana and Coco) Empty Re: Mission: It's A Bomb (Akihana and Coco)

Mon Jan 26, 2015 5:22 pm
Coco laughed loud, and smiled often in her trip with Akihana. It'd been probably a month since she'd talked to another woman so it nice to get a breeze of fresh air as it were. She was probably one of the kinder people Coco had met in her life. She actually reminded her a lot of her dad. Whom she tried not to think about much lately. His probable death and all that. Still she found herself to be enjoying her trip much more than she should have. The end of there destination was a bomb after all. Coco was all too happy to tell Aki about her life in kumo. Her love Akira who was just about the sweetest man she'd ever known. though surprisingly proficient at killing people she'd found at. She life in a tiny apartment on the other end of the city. It was nice, but her kitchen, living room, and bedroom were all the same place, and her bathroom was slightly larger than her walk - in closet back in Ame. Sure it got a little cramp, but she did fall into bouts of laziness now and then and cooking breakfast from her bed was very nice. Not that it really mattered, it seemed like as of late she spent more time At Akira's Temple/ house than she did in her own.

She enjoyed hearing stories of Aki's on Arta who seemed like a delight. If a bit of a handful. She especially enjoyed the story of him trying to walk on water. Coco vividly remembered the genesis of her own Hydrophobia. She'd been dying to learn how to walk and water, and instead of trying it out on something small like Aki's son. Coco just went all in and tried to walk on the water of an Ame Strom canal. It didn't go so well and a few miles down stream she'd washed up outside of the city with a sudden respect slash fear relationship with water.

As they approached the warehouse Coco eyed up the thugs guarding the building. They were bruisers that was for sure, but nothing she couldn't handle. The biggest threat about these guys was the time it would take for them to take them out. Every second spent dealing with them would be another second that the bad guys had to get the bomb out of there and move it somewhere safer. Or worse yet activate it. Though Coco didn't feel like that was going to be a problem. It was unlikely that a local gang was willing to sacrifice their lives for this. Thought it was a possibility. As far as coco knew what this gang was up to was a complete mystery. So it would be unwise for them to rule them out as the martyr type. Eww. All these uncertainties were making her head spin. Lately every one seemed to have been showing Coco up on the tactical side of life. She didn't really like that but wasn't too sure what she could do about it. It seemed to her like something you either had or you didn't. Ran and Aki seemed to have it. Still she tried to be more even headed about going on missions, but when you could summon ten other versions of you into the battle field, it was hard not just charging in!

At Aki's question Coco nodded. Deciding to defer to her senior's strategy. Even if they tried to take them prisoner she doubted there was much they could do to keep Coco bound for long. And she was sure that Aki was a member of ANBU for a reason. Besides maybe just showing up would be enough for them to break up the operation and send it's members scattering to the wind. "Could be dangerous." She warned needlessly. "But I doubt they turn away two 10/10's like us."

Mission: It's A Bomb (Akihana and Coco) Empty Re: Mission: It's A Bomb (Akihana and Coco)

Mon Jan 26, 2015 6:06 pm
With Coco on board, the blonde kunoichi linked her arms with the younger chunin, making a beeline for the door of the warehouse where the two tattooed men leaned casually against the walls of the dilapidated structure. She hadn't understood the number reference the chunin had used when mentioning that they wouldn't be turned down but the medic could hazard a guess. As the pair approached the guards, her golden eyes flicked upwards, detecting fresh light pasterns on the roof. Yes, this building was indeed guarded and their approach had been noted by not just the two who saw them coming.

"Hey, no trespassing," one of the guards called out as they approached, crossing his heavily muscled and inked arms in front of his chest to no doubt show off his built. "This ain't no place for little girls."

Not losing her stride, Akihana met his hostile gaze with a kind one of her own. "We're here to see the boss," she tried, figuring it was as good a lie as any. "He said he'd be waiting for us here."

"He did did he?" the second man joined them, evaluating the two kunoichi with beady black eyes. "Well, he always did like them young," the man surmised, his gaze resting on Coco in a way that made Akihana's skin crawl. "Though he should know better than to have his kicks in here. No shame in going to the whorehouses like the rest of us."

"This is... uh... an out of establishment deal," the medic murmured, a deep blush coloring's her face and lending credibility to the fabricated story. "We don't need much time, just a quick visit and we'll be gone," she added, injecting as much earnestness in her voice as she could. It appeared to have worked as the second guard shook his head in resignation.

"The economy's goin' into the shitter," he confirmed, opening the door. Akihana took a step forwards when the first guard put a firm thick hand on her shoulder, making her flinch.

"Not you Goldilocks, seems to me the boss wants her. You can stay here and entertain us while she does her thing."

"That was not part of the deal," the ANBU operative spoke, indignation clear in her voice as she removed his hand from her shoulder with a surprisingly easy swat that would send a more intelligent man thinking. Thank the goddess they wren't dealing with particularity intelligent people.

"We make our own deals here, Barbie," the guard sneered in response before pushing Coco roughly into the warehouse and closing the door behind her, leaving Akihana outside with two and two more equally brutal looking men approaching. the party from the roof, she imagined.

This was not how the blonde would have had it, with her and Coco separated, but at least one of them was inside, and the one that was more useful with weaponry too. Now Akihana could only hope the chunin would find the bomb and diffuse it and overcome anyone who came at her inside the building.

"Really guys, is that any way to talk? Your mothers would be so ashamed of you," the medic admonished, her vocal range the same as when dealing with Arata when he was being particularly difficult. Unlike the little boy however, the quartet of thugs simply laughed at her reprimands.

"Our mas ain't here to see it now is them?" one threw out to more guffaws from his accomplices, sealing Akihana's decision. Being a criminal was one thing and manners quite another. And if they thought a mother was never watching them at any given point, they were so wrong.

"Alright guys, don't say I didn't warn you, and please don't move around much, it will only make the pain worse."

Mission: It's A Bomb (Akihana and Coco) Empty Re: Mission: It's A Bomb (Akihana and Coco)

Mon Jan 26, 2015 8:19 pm
Well there was just no way that, that had gone like Aki had planned. Coco thought as she was whisked (Read: Shoved) through the doorway. Silly as it might have been she was ever so slightly flattered that she'd been the one let in and not Akihanna. It was incredibly gross, but flattering non the less. She'd been very impressed with Aki's acting skills. She'd had those guys wrapped around her story like thread. If it was Coco she would have blown a gasket at the first mention of the word whore, but that's why she kept quite now wasn't it?

She let out a quite gasp as she felt herself being unceremoniously shoved inside of the building. It took a brief moment for her eyes to adjust to the dim light within. 'Aww Crap' Coco sighed as the warehouse came into focus. Row upon row of crates, and shelves. Every shelf was rusted and empty but who knew what were in all of those boxes. This place was way to old and run down to have had a fresh shipment like this come in. All the boxes were relatively new. These guys must have been getting shipments in recently. A disturbing though. Was someone on the outside providing them with the materials they needed to build this bomb. Oh Dear.

"Woah woah, what're you doing? Who let you in?" A spindly looking teen announced coming out from a near bye isle. He had welding goggles on his head, and heavy gloves on his hands. He approached her cockily and banged a welding torch against one of his gloved hands, as if to intimidate her.

'Please.' Coco scoffed mentally rolling her eyes. She could already see three different ways to disarm him, and take him out with that little toy of his. Still she had to swallow her pride, and play her part for the time being. There was still a bomb out there somewhere in the wild, and this guy looked like he knew where it was.

"I-I'm sorry." Coco announced in the airiest sexiest voice she could, kicking her voice up an octave. "I-I-I I'm here to s-see the boss. I'm uh." She let a blush run up her face, and she avoided the man's gaze. "An Escort." She whispered quietly.

"Shit." The teen announced with a chuckle. "Leave it to him to invite a trick to work. Sheesh. He's up there." He pointed towards the office that looked over the warehouse floor, only connected to the room by a rickety looking metal staircase. Coco nodded and took a step forward for the office. It had one way glass lining it's walls, should be easy enough to take out the leader without anyone noticing. Plus there should have been plenty of evidence of bombs up there. PLUS! It had a bird's eye view of everything. If there was something sour in the warehouse she'd see it. "Hold up." The teen grunted putting his hand on Coco's chest and stopping her advance.

His hand was a little too friendly for Coco's taste. 'I'd hate to have to break your arm.' She wanted to growl.

"You don't look like a Ho." The boy mused out loud referring to Coco's outfit. To be fare he was absolutely right. Coco's three layer outfit was just about as sexy as a school mascot costume. "I think you need to make yourself ready before you can see the boss." Still playing the part Coco gave the man a scared in confused look. "Strip." He instructed.

Coco's face ignited red almost immediately. If it was from anger or embarrassment even she didn't know. "W-what?" The stutter wasn't even fake this time. The boy didn't even bother repeating himself he just gestured for Coco to begin. Which she was inclined to do. This was there best shot at the moment. They'd gotten Coco inside and she wasn't going to let Aki down now. She knew if it was up to here she'd do the same!

So Coco began to strip. In the uncomfortable conservative - Virgin style of a young lady who'd only managed to get halfway through The Birds and the Bee's talk before freaking out and making her mom stop. Off went the jacket, then the sweater. She was down to just a silky white tank top, before she decided to stop. This was as Far as Akira had gotten and there was no way she was going to let this perv see her good before the man she loved did. Besides the tank was sexy. you could see figure, it was fine. "Man what is it with the boss and lolitas?" The boy mused as he watched the show. "No ass, tits or anything."

That was it. With an earth- splitting kick, Coco drove her foot right into the man's crotch. Her hand flew out to his throat squeezing it tight before he could let out a scream of pain. Probably a good thing. It would have been loud enough for shatter all the glass on the block. "My tits are glorious you knuckle dragger!" She spat, shaking him furiously. She let out a soft giggle, and blushes. "Oh dear." She announce bringing her free hand up to her blushing cheek. "How unlady like of me I'm terribly sorry. Would you be an absolute gentleman and point to me the direction of your bomb?"

And Thus the Plan to infiltrate the office came crashing down in a plum of fire.

The with wide eyes the boy meekly brought his hand up and waved it in a vague direction. She held him for a second longer, before consciousness slipped from him. Then she just let him fall down with the rest of her crumpled clothing. As he dropped to the Floor Coco glanced down at her shoes, which still sparkled with all the majesty of the sun. "Cute."

With that she headed off into the warehouse floor to where the man had pointed. Summoning 5 Shadow clones to scoure the rest of the floor, and 5 to take out anymore guards who may have been lurking around. Especially in that office.

But before she vanished from sight she turned around to the boy, and said "Well bud, it's been a blast."

Mission: It's A Bomb (Akihana and Coco) Empty Re: Mission: It's A Bomb (Akihana and Coco)

The four men leered as if somehow synchronized and in a better time, Akihana might have wondered if they practiced looking lecherous together in mirrors side by side. Certainly their eyes and teeth looked very much in tune as did their advancing forms around Akihana. There really were only two ways to do this, the one where she took them out one by one, and the one where she took them out altogether with minimal damage. While her kindness did make it so she never hurt someone unnecessarily, it also had practical applications. Dead men made for bad witnesses and living men could spill secrets in a much more effective manner.

Letting the four men come closer to her, crowding her personal space, the kunoichi waited, just in case there was someone else watching. When a fifth member did not appear, the medic closed her eyes for a brief second, giving the impression that she was resigned to her fate despite her bravado earlier. In fact, the blonde's golden orbs were only revealed from beyond her eyelids when the first thug grabbed her shoulder, his hand shoving through her waves of golden hair to get to her skin.

"Hikariton: Faerie Wings," the young woman whispered, the words immediately drowned out by the howl of pain as the man withdraw, his palm pierced bloody and red running down his arms.

The pink and purple wings unfurled from Akihana's back like a flower, as delicate looking as they were sharp and hot. Practicing with light constructs had been taking up much of the medic's time of late but the shoes she had made Coco were far from the extent of her ability. No, her best light construct so far now glinted from her back in the form of faerie wings, sparkling brilliantly under the sunlight where she stood.

Until she was no longer standing there but was twenty meters up in the air, one of her boots barely touching a window ledge as her wings supported her in flight and gave her a full bird's eye view of what was going on below.

"She's a ninja, the second thug yelled, pulling out a scroll to no doubt inform someone or send for back up, or both. Quickly assessing the scroll, Akihana sent a thin, controlled beam of fire targeted at the scroll, turning it to ash in seconds.

"Quick, someone get her," the first man with wounded palm howled and Akihana didn't grudge him that. After all, it wasn't everyday that you went to grab someone's shoulder and ended up with both a deep impaling cut and severe second degree burns. He was well within his rights to be angry. Too bad the same couldn't be said about another guard who must have been a ninja at some point. Sadly, his mistake was using a lightning attack.

"Chidori sembon," Akihana mused, not bothering to turn to even face the attack heading her way. hat was the thing about light constructs. If one worked enough with them, one could deconstruct them just as well. As predicted, the deadly chakra infused needles headed straight for her wings, and then back.

It was a good thing she wasn't looking at the attacker, the smell of his burnt flesh was enough to make her vomit as the attack returned to him, only a lot more powerful than when she had sent it. Later, Akihana would ensure that his body was healed even though his life was forfeit, He might have family who would get solace in receiving a good preserved body to say goodbye to. Everyone should have someone to mourn them, the medic believed and these men, no matter how depraved, were no different.

The next attack heading her way was a water based one, though judging by its speed and intensity, it was no one's specialty. Not in the mood to cause even more harm and believing in the slowly dwindling IQ of the men below, Akihana simply activated the defense part of her jutsu, a small golden bubble surrounding her. The attack hit the bubble without breaking it and for a moment, she could sense the fear down below. Would this too be reflected back on them. She wished she could tell them not to worry, that she really didn't want to hurt them if they came quietly but she doubted they would listen to reason.

"Now now, gentlemen, we really don't have to fight if you come quietly with me to the Raikage's office. And tell us where the bomb is though I bet my partner's found it by now." Sadly, her generous offer was met with a joined war cry from the men remaining below.

"Take down her wings," one instructed, clearly acting as the leader. "The bitch won't be able to escape if she can't fucking fly."

The blonde shook her head sadly. Some people just never learned.

Mission: It's A Bomb (Akihana and Coco) Empty Re: Mission: It's A Bomb (Akihana and Coco)

"Hey! Who are you? What the? Hey! Ow! Hruk...." Coco's ears pricked up as she heard the sound of someone getting mugged by one of her clones. Well that was one down, that should mean that there would be one more fellow around here somewhere. She kept on her toes as she maneuvered around the freshly placed crates.

"There you are." She announced turning a corner and coming face to face with a with a bomb! "She slapped her hands together and rubbed them together. "Let's see what you've got under the hood." She crouched over the silvery metal cylinder and got to work.

Far behind her she could hear the sound of smashing glass, followed by the thump of a body hitting the ground. 'There goes the boss.'

Coco got to work looking at the bomb. Surprisingly it wasn't just a really big explosive tag. There Eight slots in the side of the they cylinder 45 degrees from each other. Oh this one was easy! upon activation this device would fire eight cables out from cylinder. The cables would cover a wide area and be covered in explosive tags. It would be a blanket of smaller explosions rather than a big one. Pretty cool.

Awfully complicated though, the big explosive tag plan may have been easier. With her Kunai Coco pried open the top of the cylinder. She peeked inside and checked it out. There was a large spool or wire on the inside, as well as hundreds of explosive tags attached to the cable.

coco reached for her pack and pulled out a water bottle. She dumped it's contents into the cylinder, soaking the insides and smearing the ink on the explosives. With the seals destroyed the tags were useless, and so was the bomb. Coco sighed putting the bottle back into her back. That was awfully easy. When she reported to Akihanna she'd make sure to make it sound much more complicated.
