(Lia, if you would like to exit temporarily after your next post, to go do the genin exams, and return as a genin, you should be fine. You already have more than enough wc to get both the jutsu this post, and topic re-entry should be fine. It might make interesting cd as well. Keep in mind you have rather low limits on jutsu as a student so hanging around after learning those two jutsu may not help you as much )

It seemed that Lia was an academy student, and a quirky one at that. Science? The Hyena had never had time to try to learn to understand those concepts though if he was going to study jutsu perhaps he should later. It seemed she was almost as energetic as a certain Rentei monkey girl who had managed to make Draconis feel exhausted. Repeatedly. Just. From. Watching. And this girl was coming close. Good thing she was flexible or it might hurt, some of those positions…. The Hyena winced at the thought of ever attempting some of those positions himself, one of the reasons he was not a Taijutsu specialist. He was never going to be a body contortionist, outside of if he were to be tortured, that is. Smiling grimly, at his own private joke, he said “Well, I can probably help you out a little bit then, Lia. There are two jutsu you need to learn for the Ninja Academy. The first one is the Art of Transformation. The hand seals would be Dog, Boar, and then Ram. To use this jutsu you form a cloak of chakra of sorts, and use it to obscure your body, making the chakra take on the form of whatever you were intending to imitate. This takes a fair amount of concentration though. After that, I would learn the other one, which is really a more complicated version of this first jutsu. The other jutsu you need for the Ninja Academy Exam, is the Clone jutsu. The hand seals for this one are Ram, Snake, and then Tiger. Similarly to the first jutsu, you take your chakra, form it into a cloak, and this time split it into two. This also takes a fair amount of concentration, this time you make the chakra cloaks mirror yourself. The best way to practice this jutsu, is by standing over a large reflective surface, like that puddle over there.”


The Hyena paused for breath, before thinking over the next jutsu he wished to begin training. Placing the mark seal on a stone, he tossed it a few feet away on the ground. Pulsing his chakra through the mark seal, from his body, he attempted to pull the stone towards him, but nothing happened. Disappointed, he scowled. It was then he realized that the other, the boy, had also spoken and seemed curious about the Gale Palm jutsu.

“I assume you are trying to learn the jutsu then, seeing as you do not appear to have a very good understanding of the jutsu…? Let me explain how I do it, perhaps you shall find another way but this way works just fine for me. Firstly, you have to gather your chakra, this is a given, it depletes your stamina slightly. Secondly, you have to integrate your chakra with the open air, until it modulates to your chakra signature. It is only then that you can worry about moving the wind such as to enhance thrown projectiles speed’s and the like.”

The Hyena stepped back and continued trying to pull the stone towards him, curious to see what the two ninjas would do.

Lia looked up to the giant guy, hearing him start to explain how to do the two jutsus that her instructor told her she need to learn in order to graduate. She listened closely to everything her said, drinking in all of his words like a sponge. She listened to his whole explanation and crossed her arms with a thoughtful look on her face. "That makes sense, of course that's correct but lets see how it goes in action." She walked over to the pond that the Hyena had pointer out after his explanation, and looked into it, seeing the reflection she knew all to well. She muttered to herself and did the handseals of the first jutsu he explained.

Dog, Boar, and Ram, she did what the hyena said, and focused her chakra around her, she also knew what she wanted to become as well. She had to stare at her sensei's face for years, so she knew how he looked by heart. Okay let's do this! She focused on what her sensei looked like, then transformed into him. She looked at her reflection in the pond again, seeing the tall, gruff face of her instructor. "Well this is new, this form doesn't feel to solid like my other Transformations. A touch can probably dispel it easily. But then again it is a rather low rank jutsu, it's also faster to complete than my other transformations so I guess that gives this technique a point, I can see how it would benefit me in the long run." She dropped the transformation and ran a hand through her [url=#]hair[/url]. "If the transformation was more solid I'd be quite the happy camper."

She did the signs for the clone jutsu next, Ram, Snake, and Tiger. She did what she did for the transformation technique, but split her own image separate from her instead. She looked at either side of her, [url=#]checking[/url] to see if both clones where there. She had them both stand in front of her, so she can examine them thoroughly. She waved her and threw one of them, causing it to dispel. Both her and her remaining clone made a unimpressed face, "Easy to dispel, but I guess the illusion would be pretty useful until I learn a solid clone jutsu. Tricks can certainly be played here. Hmm." she backed away from the remaining clone, until it dispersed. She shook her head and looked to the Hyena,"Thanks for the explanation, guess I can go take that exam now."

She walked over to her bag and picked it up. She waved at the two and started to run back to the main part of the village, intent on doing that blasted exam and final earning genin rank. And finally being able to earn ryo.

Karasu listened to what Hyena said and began to think about how he could go about doing it. He also noticed the girl, Lia, walking over to the pond and she ran through some all too familiar hand signs and karasu saw her transform. She then did the clone jutsu and it sparked a wave of nostalgia through him as he began to reminisce about the night he learned that jutsu. He was then reminded of his own excitement when he saw her go off to take the Genin exam. He then grabbed a leaf off of a nearby tree and began to focus on the old technique he learned when using his wind chakra to cut it in half. He focused his chakra into a small blade between his hands and the leaf was suddenly split in two. 
Karasu then decided it was time to try the actual technique he was trying to learn, Wind Release: Gale palm, after the small reminder on how to convert his regular chakra into wind chakra. He then did the clap he was supposed to do to form the technique, he then began to focus and a small breeze began to flow out of his body. He was pleased at the slight success and decided to try again. "Gotta use more chakra this time." he mumbled, then he proceeded to clap and focus even more chakra again he felt the wind chakra begin to form, feeling like a cool breeze was running through his chakra coils. He projected it out and out came a powerful gust of wind. "That's what i'm talking about!" he shouted, exited at the progress. He then clapped one more time, converting as much chakra as he could into wind chakra, the grass around his feet shifting slightly at the energy he was emitting he then projected it out and out came a huge torrent of wind that upturned some of the training dummies nearby. "Yatta! I did it! Thanks Hyena-Sensei!" he shouted as he ran over to fix the training posts he messed up. He picked them up and planted them firmly into the ground packing dirt around the base to stop them from falling so easily in the future. Karasu then ran over to Hyena to see what he thought of his success.
