Travel to Konoha
Sat Feb 21, 2015 1:38 pm
Clyde walked away from the village and looked back at his contract.
"What have I gotten myself into?"
He needed to travel to Konoha to look around, and investigate exactly what is going on. It seems like if he did this he would be throwing away his life in ways, but at least he can get the money. If he could keep his head up and bite his lip with well placed actions then he could easily do this. Clyde walked down the dirt path and didn't stop. He kept going for five hours until he passed out onto the ground from exhaustion. He fell asleep into a very nice deep sleep. He felt his body get engulfed into his own fatigue. Clyde felt as if the greatest feeling of rest swallowed him whole. He laid there on the path exhausted from the travel. He wanted to say he was going to try to keep going, bu he knew all to well that was a lie at this point. He fell into the darkness of the night.
He woke up the next day and saw he had sleep from the night to the afternoon. He gets up and brushes the dirt off his clothes. He reaches into his pockets to put his hands there so he can rest his arms, but then he felt something. He quickly pulls it out wondering what exactly it was, but then he quickly realized. He saw the piece of paper and remembered exactly what happened. He wondered why he had kept it, but yet he didn't want to get rid of it. He teared up as he continued to walk to Konoha. Clyde was remembering everything about his childhood and he felt it was all his fault his parent killed themselves. The wool set over Clyde's eyes by Carlos was there to protect him. If only he had gone home. Maybe it would have been different in the end. Clyde thought of Daiko as he walked. He had to get his mind off of the situation. That is the entire reason he took this job. He really doesn't like doing all this traveling. He looks behind him to see the landscape has changed drastically. Everything was so foreign to him. He knew this path went to Konoha, but he was still worried that he might get lost. Clyde continued to walk down the path.

As Clyde waked down the path he became bored he has been traveling for six hours in total. He still had six more hours to go as well. This was a stupid amount of traveling. He probably was going to have to come right back afterwards too. He was seeing improvements in the village lately and it seems like they are making progress to him. Clyde let out a loud sigh looking at the long road ahead. He had been traveling his entire life, but this one seemed to be the worse he had done. Clyde wanted some action. He was used to the excitement of a good sword fight, or the intense anxiety of getting captured. He was a dare devil in ways he felt. Clyde continued to walk for another four hours before passing out from exhaustion again. This was mostly because he need to sleep like anyone.
When he woke up he just laid there annoyed. He was stubborn and didn't want to walk the next two hours to Konoha. He bit his lip and felt like jumping up and down. He honestly was sore and in need of a train at this point. He had heard about trains as a child. They were these long snakes people ride on from place to place. They were made entirely from metal as well and were really fast. Clyde stopped thinking of trains and decided it was time to just get to the village already. He ran his hardest down the path for thirty minutes. Now all he had was forty five minutes before reaching the village.
Clyde caught his breath and laid on the ground. He had over done it with his running. He at least cut off some of the time needed to get there. He eventually forces himself to get back up and uses a walking stick nearby to help him. He walks for another 30 minutes until the village was in site. He sees the grand village and has fear of what is next to come. He wondered if other people could use magic like Daiko had in here. He keeps walking towards the village both scared and exited. He felt a renewed strength consume him and he ran towards the village at full speed happy to finally get there. He knew know he needed to complete his contract no matter what happened in here.
