Den would spot Maku's unconscious, broken body as Shou peaked over the mountain. Pointing at the body, Den had Shou land 30 meters away and Den jumped off of the dragons head and rushed to his brother's side. His sharingan and chakra senses showed that his brother was alive, but his chakra was drained a bit. As den reached him he realized the problem, and activating the mystical palm technique he'd quickly get to work on healing the damage done to his brothers body. All the while he concentrated on teleporting to Sanctuary, and a few seconds after healing Maku the two would disappear in a white flash, Shou disappearing in a giant cloud of smoke as he returned to his home as well.

Eyes flickering the face of a familiar shinobi came into view.  Well shit....that probably wasn't a good sign.  A deep sigh would escape his lips as he spoke, his voice just a little hoarse as if his neck had suffered some kind of trauma or something.  "Well....not likely I won then aye?"  He said attempting a weak smile.  Looking around, he didn't recognize where they were, however....he felt safe in a way.  Like where ever he was cradled him in its protection.  It was a very different feeling, but not unwelcome.

"Not to be rude, but if you could just make me sleep for a bit....I think that would be best.  I have an appointment to get back to at some point, and I'd hate to look like I feel."  A light chuckle, then Maku closed his eyes once more.  He knew where he had gone wrong.  Move after move had been meant to disengage, to halt the fighting to speak.  A mistake that hence forth, would not e repeated.  With that, Maku's mind left the realm of consciousness and entered a world of his own........or was it the world already occupied by his as yet unidentified brother.

Around him a strange thing seemed to be occurring.  As if the realm he rested in was having some kind of chemical reaction, yet in his weakened state, it was almost unnoticeable.
