Salzem saw Draconis had found the other kid, dragging his lifeless corpse away into the underbrush. Salzem's face formed into a scowl. There was no need to kill these kids, only incapacitate them. He was about to voice his oppinons on the matter before he heard Draconis say that there were new enemies coming. He moved back into the trees, seeing a group of three closing in on the location of the fighting, about 40 meters from his group. Salzem first slammed his hands together in the tiger sign, two shadow clones appearing on either side. He then weaved signs for the average clone technique, two for each shadow clone and himself. 6 clones faded into existence, all eyes trained on the group of three as they passed below them. Suddenly, Salzem and his clones leaped down on the group, slashing their weapons down ward in an over head slash. Two of the three kids noticed Salzem's attack, raising their own blades just in time to turn aside the Shadow clone's attacks, while one was not quite so lucky. Salzem's blade cut through the kid's shirt, slicing downward across his face and chest. Blood burst from his face and he fell back, cursing and screaming. The fuss only lasted a moment, before He grabbed the back of the kid's  neck and Salzem slammed his forehead into his nose. He whimpered once more before falling unconscious. The clones seemed to be loosing their advantage, as the kids were stronger and faster, but they seemed to have forgotten about their friend. While one fought with one of his clones, Salzem slammed an elbow on his shoulder, the force causing him to drop his weapon. He turned, eyes widening in fear seeing Salzem slash downward across his chest with his katana. The rush of battle made him grin ghoulishly as he saw the blood spirt out of the wound as the next opponent fell, enjoying the chaos. The other shadow clones had already surrounded the last remaining kid. She had held her katana steady as Salzem approached, eyes glaring with pure hate. Salzem was undaunted. He slammed his hands together into the Ram sign, using the Body Flicker ability to disappear behind her. She didn't even have time to move as Salzem smacked her across the crown of her skull with the butt of his katana, hard. She stumbled forward, Shadow clone bringing up a knee into her jaw, knocking her to the ground.

Draconis did not miss Salzem’s glare as he dragged off the bodies to be obscured by plant foliage. “Guys, we are not in a drill. We are outnumbered in a fight against a rather large number of village enemies. In this world it is kill or be killed, otherwise the village will be overrun eventually. There being only four of us, we really can’t afford to watch those we defeated already, and cannot realistically withstand an attack from behind if the enemy manages to patch up their fallen. It is unfortunate but it must be done, if there is ever a true village war again we will need to be used to killing for the most part, so threats like these cannot rise again. If you feel killing is beyond you currently, it would still help to at least cut some muscles so that their mobility is severely limited, the enemy will have difficulty regaining use of their capabilities, and we may be able to bring one or two back for questioning.”

It seemed the others were indeed going to let him handle the nearest trio after the two he had encountered had mysteriously died. Good, he would silently dispose of the bodies, hopefully the others heeded his earlier warning and prevented any enemies from becoming liabilities again.

He silently watched for enemies, and while he was far enough away that he should not be seen, he tried running his wind element chakra through his body again. The result was explosive. His body moved significantly faster, and he was not prepared for the increase in speed, something he should have forseen. His first step took him through a clearing, and past his targets, which was bad. They seemed to have not noticed his motions, the hard packed ground muffling his foot steps. However he had to kill them before they reached the others who had been only 8 meters away. Quickly he stepped behind them, throwing kunai that skewered two of them just under the head from behind, paralyzing them if they were not actually killed. The third dodged the kunai aimed at him though.

A Hyuuga. A god damn friggin Hyuga had joined the brigands. It was one he recognized too. It was one of the scum bags that used to pick on Draconis before when he was younger and all alone. The Hyuga recognized him too and figured out pretty quickly that there was no way out of this. Draconis drew a kunai, and used the Wind Chakra Blade technique on it, to make it sharp. His first kill with this technique would be one of his most hated enemies. His growl was clearly audible through the clearing where the other missing ninjas had been dropped, the third giving his full attention to Draconis. “You Hyuga scum think you are so far above every one else, you sit on your asses all day retelling ancient history as if you yourselves had accomplished it all yesterday.”

The other spat at him but fell short, a short glimpse at the other bodies proved that they were also Hyuga, the first one’s cronies. The two of them had entered the clearing but only one would exit outside of a body bag. The other Byakugan drew a kunai as well, while the Hyena re-emerged briefly, his tongue sticking out at the opponent. The two of them charged, and a brief clash of blades rendered the other’s blade useless. Looks like the weapon aura technique had been working out after all. The other cursed, and adopted a 8 Trigrams stance before charging. Draconis saw the incoming strike, and dodged slightly, the attack aimed at his heart instead going between his side and the left arm of his that still held the sharpened kunai, Draconis found his blade sunk in the other’s rib cage, between the second and third ribs. They stood there like that for a long few moments, the enemies’ body collapsing to the ground in an expression of shock. Draconis walked around stabbing each of the corpse’s eyes once, ruining anyone else’s attempts at getting the Byakugan, he could not call them warriors if two of them had not been watching for attackers and the survivor had been so pitifully weak.

Finally he had gotten his revenge. He was picking up his dropped kunai when he heard Yensung asking for backup. He grabbed the last of his weapons, stuffing them back in his weapon pouch. He began running in a circular arc towards where Yen had last been heard, and slowed down. It seemed a rather massive group, the rest of the grunts he had not found, was chasing Yen. From his vantage points he could also see some who looked like they were in charge of this whole mess. Much as he would have liked to keep them from knowing who they were dealing with, he had no time to take the enemies out one by one. His hands blurred, while Yensung appeared to be conjuring a mist to confuse the enemy. Good. A stupendously large wall of flame rushed out. If they were lucky there would be no forest fire, but the current flames would eliminate the entire group chasing Yensung, the flames calculated to miss the ally of his entirely, the mist being vaporized by a wall of heat, the flames roaring at a good 50 meters across, even the leaders would be having to jump back a bit to avoid being scorched, though they would have had sufficient warning he suspected. The grunts would not be so likely.

He began running towards where he saw Yen with his Byakugan, checking for the others and any remaining enemies to show up, the kunai with the reinforcement of chakra once again in his hand and the white glow surrounding him again in an attempt to get to the others faster.

yen saw draconis turn towards him and a limp body to the left and nodded knowing that if casualties are the case then it would have to be. yet at the moment yen dove to the left and rolled to the ground as a large jet of flames shot to the near right of yen as its intense flames engulfed the three grunts and the ones in the mist were unfortunate as they got enveloped by the torrent of flames. the screams and yells of the young genin filled the area as they burned from the flames as for the ones who escaped the mist they were taken care of by salzem and risako as well as draconis.

The leaders however with a bit of concern from the massive wide range attack the boy and girl began to scramble to figure out a way to counter the large torrent of flames, however the elder man smiled and waved a few hand signs and a large wall of mud formed in front of the man and his assistants as the flames burned around the large wall of mud leaving the man and his assistants un harmed.

yen looked up and surveyed the destruction of the boy's attack it was jaw dropping in normal situations yet he was on a mission and he needed to confirm that there were no other hostiles in the area. yen took note of the charred figures of two of his attackers who in their last second of their lives must’ve realized too late as their body became black as the dirt. Yet the barely hoarse and audible breathing of one grunt barely bleeding out from the burns attempted to gasp a few words as his burning blade was also molten laying a few feet from yen his hands seared still the fingers twitching from pain and desire to hold the blade.

Yen walked over the gasping boy's corpse and had the heart to kick the molten blades hiilt at the boys outstretched hand as the boy's eyes had the mist form over one shining eye not burned and the body went limp from the burns. yen nodded towards draconis and spoke as he walked through the charred and still burning wooded area "thank you for doing that” yen looked up at the now charred and partially molten building with a black wall of rock in front of it crumbling to reveal the figures of the man and the two young adults on top of the abandoned outpost. The young man and woman resisted the urge to hurl as they must’ve felt the mass of lives snuffed out before their eyes and within the sensory range. the man on the other hand was looking at yen and draconis as he looked a tad bit disappointed but cocked his head and put a thumbs down before speaking.

"you sure know how to use fire and can fight well or run that is." The man leered at yen whom was not impressed with his choice of words as he quietly glared at the man ignoring the boy and the girl as the man spoke up once again. "but they were nothing but shields expendable like the food i eat every night. No more than individuals that lay before me now as figures that took hits i would never have taken. those brats all together could not have taken me on in their wildest dreams and to think you guys have the nerve to do a leaders job is a joke." the man laughed as he drew a sword and barked at the boy and girl. "GET UP YOU WUSSES! Death is inevitable in the ninja world and you guys were ready to fight for the cause now you fight by me to survive destroy these village ninja and we will start anew!"

the boy and girl seemed to have recovered their composure which sadden yen for it seems they might’ve been brain washed by the man with years of lies and deinal by the leader for his own means to even fight with their lives for the greedy and self absorbed man. Yen stepped forward and stared at the man with a from before speaking. "you are a tyrant that merely looks to further himself by a meek standard and lead a band of lost souls to their demise. How sad to see one who would lead the young lives en masses to their deaths... we will end this today!" yen stared at the man an called out to risako and salzem and draconis "you guys we must take them out now do anything in your power to stop them as you saw even lethal force could be applied they wont offer any gentleness to any of us so fight as if your lives depend on it!" yen spoke as he wrapped his water whip around his left shoulder to tighten the pressure on his arm and weaved a few hand signs boar-rat-snake and chakra filled his left hand to heal up the small cut on his left shoulder with his right hand as the wound began to closed after a moment.

Yen gripped his water whip back to his right hand and stared at the man as he began to realize the gravity of the situation. He was indeed much stronger and faster then yen and he stared at almost impossible odds alone but hopped that with their numbers they could handle the leader and his two assistants. as the boy and girl laid eyes on yen and they spat out to the ground as the man jumped down to the ground spinning his sword in his left hand and a sly smile on his face. "now boy how should you die today? call me the reaper because Not even the simple healing techniques will stop your death. Ill cleave you all in two!" the man spoke to yen as yen gripped the water whip tighter now uncertain about his chances but confident that he could do something. His bugs buzzed with a hum as they too were prepared and ready to act.

Risako noticed the flames through the trees off in the distance. Either something really good, or something really bad went down, and she would have to wait to find out. The black haired boy was on his knees, gingerly trying to pull out the shuriken. The blonde haired boy was still ready to fight, gripping his own kunai. An awkward silence occurred for a few seconds, but those seconds dragged on for eternity, until finally, both Risako and the blonde haired boy charged one another at the same time. At first, Risako played defensively, meeting his kunai with hers in a shower of sparks, over and over, until the boy realized he wouldn't be able to land a hit. Risako wasn't the fastest around, but she had no issue blocking every one of his attacks. Risako slipped up though, and missed his foot because she was distracted with the kunai. Before she knew it, she was on the receiving end of a vicious kick, and she just barely swung her head out of the way to avoid another slash, gaining a scratch on the cheek. The boy made a mistake to though, as he attempted a large overhead swing, telegraphing his attack to great extents. Risako stabbed his wrist as it came down, causing him to drop his kunai. Letting go of her kunai, she spun and picked his up as it was falling, continuing with the momentum of her spin, she turned back around and slammed the handle into his head, knocking him unconcious. 

The black haired boy, still hadn't managed to pull it out, and was just groaning while gently touching the star. Risako turned the blonde kid, yanked the kunai out, and tore a strip off of his shirt, wrapping it around his wrist to serve as a bandage. She sauntered on over to the black haired kid, and quickly disarmed him, throwing away his weapon pouch and knife. She threw to the ground and counted out, "3... 2... 1..." before yanking the shuriken out of his eye socket. He screamed and thrashed around as Risako took the remaining piece of the other boys shirt, and tied it around his head. She waited a moment for him to calm down, and told him, "Grab your friend and get to Tanzaku Town." He listened, at least half heartedly, and wobbled his way over to his friend. 

With that, she body flickered over to the general location of her teammates.

Salzem stood over the girl as she staggered to her feet. Blood trickled down her forehead as she stood. The look in her eyes switched from hate to fear as she noticed her fallen comrades around her. Salzem followed her gaze before meeting her eyes, getting no more ghoulish joy out of seeing her reaction to her wounded friends. She fell to her knees, submitting herself to Salzem's will. He kicked her katana out of her hands, squatting down so that he was at eye level with her. She would not meet his gaze until he grabbed her chin with his forefinger and thumb and twisted her head to face him. Salzem's sanguine eyes glared into her blue ones, confirming that her fear was not a ploy. It was genuine.
"You don't have to follow him you know." Salzem whispered to her, referring to the jounin leader. "No matter what he threatened you with or what he claims he owns, he doesn't own you." Salzem patted her on her shoulder before standing up, and heading back in the direction of his team, his clones following him.
"Wait!" He heard a voice behind him. It was the girl's. He glanced back, seeing she was kneeling beside her fallen allies. "Help me with them!" Salzem had a conflict at this point. He was supposed to incapacitate all enemy troops, but they were already helpless. Surely tying up their wounds wouldn't hurt. He tore the shirts off the two wounded boys and cut them into make-shift bandages using his katana. He then wrapped the sword-cuts with the bandages, blood already staining them red.
"This is the best I can do for them." Salzem said before turning his back on the girl for a second time. "Get out of here." Salzem muttered before leaped up to the trees, making his way back to the Yen's position. As he made his way, a thought crossed his mind. There hadn't been any large groups of ninja around here, and the only ones he saw were small groups like these. Then it hit him. This must have been a trick by the Jounin. Some how he knew they were coming and set this whole thing up to separate them from the group and they fell for it!
"BAKA!" Salzem swore, moving full speed back to where Yen was. He must be in real trouble! As he moved, he saw a flash in front of him. Risako!

"Risako, Wait!" Salzem called to her. Hopefully she would acknowledge his call and slow down enough so that they could make their way back together. After all, going in as a group would work better than going in alone.

(this is the 24th roleplaying post i think, if this is any indication, we count total posts among all of us as opposed to to the post count being for each individual. What say we split up something like 1, 1, and 2 (perhaps putting yen and salzhem together since their speeds are closer, putting them with me or risako makes less sense), and each individual/pair takes either a chunin or jounin. in terms of battle strength and speed i might be the best to fight the jounin but if someone else wants to I don't mind either, just keep in mind their speeds.

Also, Risako, if you want to learn fire annihilation just let me know, our wc should be applicable)


Draconis was pleased, the attempts to master the Wind Glaive jutsu, or whatever it was called, were working quite well, at this rate he might be able to face jounin head on. As the flames dispersed, it appeared that the three higher ups of the enemy were still alive and kicking, the younger ones not used to the idea of watching such carnage yet, but the older one was totally unmoved. He must be the leader. Draconis quietly ran through the undergrowth avoiding the gaze of the enemy, until he found Yen. “The older one is the leader. His eyes are those of a killer. The two younger ones are inexperienced and may still be in shock.” After a slight pause, Draconis continued, while keeping an eye on the enemy with his Byakugan. “Do you know where the others are? My bet is that the enemy will split up now that they know we can do area of effect attacks, to reduce the risk.”

He paused, attempting to activate the wind jutsu he was working on again. The kunai he had been holding that was covered in the wind chakra glowed a little brighter, and seemed to almost slice the air itself, his arm moving much faster than before. This jutsu could prove quite handy after all huh. He tried jumping a little, and nearly cracked his head on a tree branch. Fortunately for the sake of the mission this did not actually happen.

Looking around, he noticed Salzhem and Risako coming towards them, noting their speeds, and comparing them with his own and Yensung’s. When they were all together again he would still be watching the enemy for movement, and would say “Judging by our respective speeds, I think Yen and Sal might want to group together on this next phase where we hunt the leaders, it would be easier for them to support each other.

He waited for the others to arrive then said “I would like to try something in case you guys get into trouble. I might be able to help. I will need you all to let me touch each of you somewhere on your bodies briefly.”[/color]

yen didnt keep his eyes off the three on the building as the others came near him. his bugs buzzing and audible now as he  it was just the beginning as the four of them against the three leaders. "The others are under the most part toasted by you and it seems as if they are left. the reason they were so well prepared as well or for the most part organized is the two younger adults are sensors. had us picked up a while ago. as for him he defended the two and himself against your fire attack. ill need a moment to set up a reasonable offense . go on the offensive but be careful it sickens me but i fear they will give their lives to keep him safe its not going to be easy so mistakes will be fatal. risako you and draconis should you know attack the front, as for sal hit them from the back and i will hit them underneath."

Yen spoke aloud for the leaders to hear and hoping to keep them at  bay expecting the first blow yet yen felt that with the situation the close quarters of combat would be unavoidable as his jutsu was running out that kept him up to speed. well ill just lock them down in a genjutsu to enable a easy hit. or focus the boss and drain him down with my bugs. bah this is going to get really messy.[/I ] yen eyed the bosses sword and pointed at the elder man as he walked forward and spoke up "well now its us four against you three, under most cases numbers matter but this is an exception as you are perhaps more skilled then all of us. Still ill give you another chance. hand the scroll over before we begin."

the man observed yens approach about a 50 meters away and twirled his sword in his left hand and chuckled as he responded "you speak your plan aloud and tell us another chance to hand over the scroll? you are just pitiful. have no power in this situation! out positioned, and out ranked in this boy. so since you are going to take the rolle talk where you speak, fight me! with your pitiful clones and weak mist. ill show you the mirth of a real shinobi!"  the elder man charged at yen at a speed of 45 alot fater then yen would normally fight in with his sword spinning aiming a slash at yens side with a speed of 30 and strenght of 60 followed by a kick aimed at yens shin to knock down the boy to finish him in a instant.

The girl and boy gazed at risako, salzem, draconis as they began to smile and weave  a few hand signs the girl did the horse-tiger  sign adn the booy preformed the bird sign as the girl spoke. "Guess what we have for you guys! a burning death and a step closer to the rise of our group of bandits. we will just grow and over take your village yet no one will know for your lives end here!" the boy preformed a jutsu that spat out large colomes of air in projectile form as the girl shot out a great fire ball  before weilding a kunai and the girl and boy fueling chakra to their feet began to run down from the top of the abandoned outpost at a speed of 35.

Yen however noted the man moving at his great speed thanks to the jutsu e used yet this was his only time to react for he wasn’t going to have this jutsu available in a moment or two and only had a instant to react if not less. yen stepped back at a speed of 29 as the man swung catching yens clothing with the blade yet he never caught the skin of yen at a and noted the shifting of the mans weight as he sent a sweep to yens lifted leg yen however released a bout 20 insects from his body at a speed of 80 as they responded to yens mental command latch on to the man and drain his chakra! yens insects moved at a speed of 15 on to the mans outstretched arm and began biting down on the mans arms. as he felt the drain of his chakra from his insects chakra destruction ability. however the mans foot still cuaght yens foot as he tumbled to the ground. yet yen still had one more trick up his sleeve as the man gazed down at yen gloating at the aburame. that’s right come at me with your attack ill start your demise now! yen built a massive ammount of chakra in his right index finger and pointed at the man speaking. [color=yellow["you are never going to take me down!" [/color] yen yelled as the man luaghed releasing his genjutsu on the man. yen noted that the man gazed at his hand but then go distant as the man wandered in to a genjutsu crafted by yen.

within the genjutsu The elder man would be gazing down at yen with his sword lifted to strike at yen and would strike down at yen drawing blood from the boy as he slahed down at yen followed by him yelling in victory as he apparently killed yen in victory and rushed towards the burning figures of risako, salzem,and draconis as the two  of his assistants stopped their jutsu preparation and hit risako across the face with his back hand , stabbed salzem through the gut with his sword, and smashed draconis over the head with the hilt of his sword before cutting the boys head off with his blade.  In the real world the man would be breathing shallowly spaced from reality as yens insects feasted on his chakra and yen decided to keep the man under his genjutus observing the battle at hand but readying himself for the next wave of insects under his control.

As Risako was nearing closer to Yen, she noticed the charred ground, scattered with various corpses. Risako responded to Draconis with this, "I think I'll take Salzem." She looked to Salzem "I've worked with him more than once, He won't drag me down if we have to chase after them." Then Yen had his little debate with the bandits, and they attacked. After a very brief moment Risako looked up to see another fire ball headed at them. The genin would meet said fireball with a dragon, that smashed through the ball into the side of the outpost, creating the flames that composed it to disperse. Once the girl had reached the ground, Risako would look her in the eyes, stick out her tongue and flip her the bird, before running off. The girl gave chase of course, and Risako motioned to Salzem to follow. 

Hopefully, Yen and Draconis could fend off the two remaining enemies, should the Jonin not retreat. (Just saying, he should retreat until we finish the other two.) Risako ran for forty or so meters until she reached a ten meter wide clearing. A rather small battlefield, but it would do. She quickly zipped over to the other side and yanked the smoke bomb out of her pouch just as her opponent ran out of the clearing. Risako knew that Salzem was significantly slower than the bandit, and her hope was that she could momentarily distract the bandit while Salzem took up the rear. Risako threw the smoke bomb in between her and the chuunin, obscuring her opponent's view. Immediately, she climbed a tree at the edge of said clearing, and prepared the handseals for the great dragon fire technique. All she had to do was wait for Salzem to arrive, and the smoke to clear.

Also, I haven't kept track of my AP, so I'm just gonna say I'm at 100, which is actually lower than it should be, but just in case. Also, Hyst, I'm taking Salzem for an IC reason. Don't be jelly. As for the GFBA, I only have 700 more words, otherwise I'd take you up on the offer.]

Salzem made his way back to yen and Draconis, seeing that the bosses have come out of hiding. He stayed to the tree line with his clones surrounding him. The two chuunin appeared to be brother and sister, feature similarities apparent. The boss stepped back and the two chuunin stepping forward. They seemed to believe whole heartedly in the crime they were taking part of. They seemed only a few years older than himself, 17... perhaps 18. They attacked the group. The boy weaved a variety of signs, ending in him coughing out large pillars of wind. The girl played off his wind style, spewing forth a great fireball enhanced by the winds, making it that much larger. Risako threw down a smoke bomb, leaping back and weaving the signs for the Great Fireball technique. Salzem circled the two chuunin, clones taking up position behind the two. He moved, landing silently behind the two as they cast their jutsu. His clones attacking the male while he attacked the female. He brought his leg up in a Leaf rising wind (Strength: 46 Speed: 59). If this connected, the girl would be launched 15 feet in the air. He would then follow up by leaping up behind her mirroring her position (dancing Leaf Shadow) while she hung helplessly in the air. She would cringe, looking behind her, seeing his sanguine eyes flashing darkly. She swung her arm around (Strength 35), intending to knock Salzem down to earth, but his position had its advantages. He blocked her blow midway with his elbow, grabbing her other arm and prying it behind her back along with the other one. He then dragged her down to earth, swinging her downward like a mallet as they reached a meter above ground. The back of the girl's neck slammed into the hardened earth, her eyes going wide with the force of the attack. He leaped back as she touched ground, landing 3 meters to the side. He saw that the last of his clones were being disposed of by the male chuunin. He saw his sister, stunned, eyes flashing with hate as he cut down Salzem's last Shadow Clone. He began weaving signs, breathing in deep and rearing back. Salzem tried to move but his body was still recovering from the strain he had just put it under. He couldn't move on his own. He raised his arms in front of him to attempt to guard from the worst of the attack.

Draconis watched the others leap into action. Not finding a suitable place for himself to enter the action, he stood in the rear of the group, silently observing to see if he might be needed anywhere. It looked like Yen was in some kind of mental battle with the jounin guy but he could not be sure whether the opponent was merely faking. He observed the entire battle from his vantage point, watching his teammates fighting the opponents. His body was glowing again, whiteish, and as he moved his ground speed was faster, his chakra reinforced blade was a little brighter too. He saw Salzhem and the chunin peoples getting into a big brawl, clones and all, and it seemed the girl had fire style as well. Draconis decided to take a guess. Taking careful aim, he held his specially reinforced knife, and then suddenly threw it as hard as he could at the enemy jounin dude. If unblocked it would stab the jounin in the neck, after narrowly missing Yensung. Hopefully Yensung did not blink, it was almost that close but at Draconis’ angle it was unavoidable. Hopefully he hit the enemy. Turning to where he had seen Salzhem, it looked like he was in trouble. Draconis drew another kunai and began running towards his team mate, hoping he would be in time to help.

The entire time he watched out for the enemies movements. The battle was nearing its climax and hopefully everything worked out ok. In the end, if necessary, he could always grab his compatriots and flee though he was not sure this was entirely necessary, and run, he thought he would be able to hold all of them and body flicker away.
