Another Boring Day (open)

Salzem would then begin flooding his chakra throughout his body, chakra flowing into his cell membranes. As he focused, arrow-head patches of skin, no bigger than an inch, began to harden. It looked as though he was becoming a Lizard. Salzem stretched one arm out to the side, a tingling sensation arcing though-out his body as his skin changed. The skin seemed to harden and separate into scales up his arms at a remarkable speed of 40. Salzem felt the sensation reach his face and arc around his eyes as the Lizard-Skin Armor came around and covered the remaining parts of his body. The color faded in next. A dark red flowed over his new scales, almost the color of blood. Salzem would let out a sigh as the transformation ended and the sensation stopped. Salzem would look down at his arms and hands. He rubbed his palms over his scales, feeling the rise and fall of each individual scale. Salzem would nod at Kouki to attack. These new scales... hard... like armor. He had never attempted something like this before.. beyond the Tooth and Claw Jutsu and he hadn't even mastered that one yet.

Kouki prepares his arms, taking a defensive attack stance this time, then he watches whatever Salzem is trying to do, i kind of looks like what James was doing the other day. After Salzem nodded at Kouki, Kouki slowly approaches Salzem, with his arms in front preparing for any attack.
“I seriously don’t know what else I can do to you other than tickling your skin with my hands.” Kouki says, trying to think of an emergency strategy that he could use. Kouki sprints toward Salzem, with his left hand in front, he attacks Salzem with his right hand doing an uppercut, Kouki don’t know and don’t care if Salzem blocked it or dodged it or not, he uses shock paddles and place right away onto Salzem, while his brain still planning his next move. Whether that moves fails or not, he is going to slap Salzem in the face, hopefully that wouldn’t laugh Kouki to death before he does it.

Salzem took the brunt of Kouki's uppercut, not even scratching the scales or even causing his head to move very much. The shock paddles, however was going to be a problem. Salzem twisted out of the way, his scales falling off of him in a wave, clattering as the hit the earthen floor as well as  each other. However, as he dodged, Kouki brought his hand around in a punch. Unexpected. Was it a fist? A palm strike? Nothing so professional. He was hit with a slap. It didn't hurt him, that was certain, but being slapped was insulting. Weather it was meant as an insult or as a joke, Salzem's nostrils would flare, his face would contort into his darkest expression. He would throw a punch at Kouki before slowing his fist just before impact so it only tapped Kouki's forehead.  Salzem's face was no longer dark. It was kinder.

"Nice move Kouki. However, mind you don't do that again to anyone."

Kouki was not fast enough by far to escape Salzem. Salzem saw him easily attempt an escape with the Substitution technique and teleport not to far away. Regardless the distance, as soon as His fist touched whatever Kouki substituted, Salzem would disappear behind her with a speed of 80. Most likely, all that would be seen is dust that was once under his feet rising up. Once he was behind Kouki, Salzem would grab him by the back of the neck and lift him off the ground.

"Do you give in?" Salzem would ask. If he said no, Salzem would shrug and would carry him over to a tree, show Kouki his fist, then he would punch the tree's trunk, causing it to explode and fall over in a shower of splinters and noise.

Kouki’s try to substitution technique to escape Salzem failed horribly, Salzem is way to fast for Kouki, he needs a better plan, he needs to be stronger, faster, smarter. Kouki closes his eyes as he get smashed into a tree by salzem and the tree crumbzz falls heavily onto Kouki. Salzem gave Kouki a chance to stop the fight and give up, but Kouki doesn’t want to give up, but he still doesn’t have the ability to continue the fight.
“No” is the answer given to Salzem, Kouki won’t give up, he will just have to take the pain, Kouki thought. Kouki don’t know how to win, when he got some of his strength back, he used transformation technique and turned into a hot grill ( ) Kouki sees if flirting can screw Salzem over, it most likely will not work, but why not give it a try. Kouki closes his eyes, hoping for the best.

Salzem squeezed the back of Kouki's neck hard enough to make him squeak in pain (Strength 18) to show he means business. He was going to get him to submit, one way or another.

"Have it your way." Salzem said, dragging Kouki over to a new tree. As he did so however, Kouki was suddenly enveloped in a cloud of smoke. As it cleared, in kouki's place was a relatively attractive female. Salzem's knew this was kouki. The attempts to flirt was a joke at best. Salzem's expression was blank as he dragged female Kouki over to a large, thick oak and slammed him up against it so he was facing Salzem. Salzem then held a fist back if front of Kouki's face.

"Give up or this will get ugly." Salzem said.

Kouki’s attempt to transform and “seduce” Salzem was a massive failure, Salzem showed zero emotions in front of Kouki, then without hesistation, he was slammed into a tree. Every single part, bone, cell, tissue, (uhhh) matter, atom, everything just hurts so bad for Kouki, he can barely move his hands. He wants to give up….for the 20th time, he is reconsidering to give up, he then he thinks again, and reconsider again.
“I don’t care if this gets ugly.” Kouki says, “I will survive, I will withstand this, I will not give up, I will (hopefully) find a way to win this!” Even though Kouki said that, he doesn’t even have faith in himself that he can win this, it started off simple, but then it turned harder. He doesn’t know how he will win this. He wish that now, he get a sudden burst of power to turn this around, like every protagonist in every story when they are in danger. But Kouki knows, he won’t be like that, he isn’t a protagonist of any kind, even if he is, he literally have no way of getting that burst of power, he is too weak for it.

(People said that I didn’t need the word count to get the second tomoe, just need the emotion. So if that is the case, and if you agree with it, I will go with second tomoe next post.

Salzem cocked his head to the side in confusion. Such brave words from someone pinned up against a wall, probably suffering from the punishment he's been through. How was he still going strong like this? Under these circumstances most people would give up right here, completely outmatched in every possible way. Not Kouki apparently. He didn't seem to know when to quit. A blessing and a curse. Salzem probed Kouki's eyes for anything resembling doubt and in those pupils and behind Kouki's gusto, he found what he was looking for. 

"There are some challenges you cannot overcome. Some battles you cannot win." Salzem said, lowering his fist, still keeping his hand around Kouki's throat.

"There are moments when you should just quit." Having finished saying this, he would toss Kouki lightly over the ground, about 5 meters away, not powerful enough to wound, but enough for him to bounce. 

"This is one of those times. If you don't heed my warnings now, You might not live to regret it later."

Dust and Crumbs from trees raining down onto Kouki. Kouki’s eyes burn and hurts so much, while his whole body aches. He cannot use his hands to rub whatever it is that is in his eyes out, he blinked his eyes a few times, trying to get his eyes to get better, then he closed his eyes again. His eyes feels hot, with a little bit of anger on Salzem. Then he noticed something, something that happened between the split seconds that he blinked his eyes. He opened his eyes, his eyes still burns, still hot, still hurts, but something undescribable is showing up in his eyes. It’s like that he could see whatever is going to happen a few seconds later with the overlay of his first sharingan, the ability to see chakra, he used the rest of whatever energy he has to clean of his hands, then rubbed his eyes, nothing changed, this isn’t a dream, it’s like he can tell the fortune but only a few seconds after current times.
“What…...the hell…….is this??” Kouki screamed at Salzem, he expected some answer from Salzem, this like a dream, but it really isn’t.
