The Not so Bloody Riot (open to Konoha nin)

Having just dodged the kunai, the boy landed to the ground with a thud. He sprung up to his feet, having heard something about a powerful jutsu, and watched as his pupils widened in shock. First reaction, was to run, but the little amount of training he received from the academy, told him to do something else. Firstly, he took three steps in an all out sprint, and right as the water dragon came crashing down on him, a distinct bird chirping sound could be heard, accompanied by a bright sparking from his hand. (Since chidori is strong against water, it overpowers the jutsu.)

The dragon splashed around the boy as his technique cut through it. Rather than completely drop the technique, the boy kept it going, as he continued sprinting after cole. Relatively quickly, he would close the short distance and attempt to strike Cole's shoulder with the chidori, and should the technique hit, it would go through his shoulder.

At the boys misfortune however, whether or not he hit or missed, he still lacked a full training regimen like Kouse and Cole had. His chakra reserves were only large enough to sustain one chidori due to his poor mismanagement of the technique, and after the it dissipated, he would collapse onto the ground in a heap. The boy struggled to even inhale at this point. Had he actually completed the academy, and finished his training, he might have been able to pull the technique off and win the fight. Instead, he went all out with a technique his body was prepared for, and he now suffered for it. His hand was numb, and the nerves were almost damaged beyond repair.

The boy was finished, and now he needed to be turned in. On that note, Risako had arrived back on the scene, minus a crowd of people. The first thing she noticed was the boy on the ground.

So, it turns out that my friend brought a laptop with us on the trip. I won't have to wait! Also sorry for the kinda shorter than usual post, it's not my laptop. Don't wanna hog it.

Also, Cole, it's up to you if the chidori hits you or not. Make it interesting tho. I'll make an exit post on my next post, and you guys follow after that, sound good?]

The water dragon was heading down going to hit the boy, but before it got their the boy jumped up, and his hand burst into lighting. He cut through the water dragon like it was butter, and started to run at cole with his hand still covered in lighting. He wasn't far away and cole had to think quick. He didn't have enough time to dodge the attack, and he couldn't take a direct hit from a jutsu like that even from someone that wasn't trained, and then it hit him he had an idea that might just work.

Cole took a step back and made two water clones. He knew that the boy would simply go through them just like the water dragon, but he wasn't going to use them to attack. He put the two clone between him and the boy, as the boy ran though the first one coles clone grabbed his hand slowing him down some, and then the same with the second. Giving cole just enough time to lean back a bit using his right leg as support so he didn't fall over, and as the boys arm went through the last clone the clone was able to stop him. Due to the damage the boy had taken just from using the jutsu. He had hit his limit and went beyond it. His hand just inches from coles shoulder.

Cole reached up and grabbed his shoulder. Even though the boy didn't make contact the jutsu was strong enough that with the distance he still felt the lighting touch it. The boy fell to the ground done. They had completed their mission.

Cole would stand and wait for Risako to return. When she got their he would invite her and Kouse to go get some food later. He wanted to go get his shoulder checked out because it was a bit numb, and he didn't know much about the jutsu the boy used. Cole would listen to their response and say his goodbyes for now. Whether it was later to day for dinner or on possibly the next mission he figured that he would see them again.

Kouse watched with a smirk as he saw the water dragon going towards the rioter and he smirked... Well he's a dead man.. But what happened next shocked him more than he thought possible.. The boy had responded to the attack by going towards it!.. And wait what was on his arm?.. Lightning?.
Kouse's eyes widened.. The surprising rioter had cut through the lightning like it was fun. 
But he didn't stop there.. He had started running towards Cole with his hand still covered in lightning... Kouse knew Cole was a water specialist.. And water is weak to lightning.. Kouse didn't like the way things were going.. He also realised that trying to help would be futile.. He wasn't fast enough to get to cole in time. 
He knew Cole was smart but he was still surprised what he did to counter dat attack. He knew that the boy didn't have much chakra and had made two clones which were placed in front of the him.
Kouse smiled.. He would try to slow him down with those clones.. He would have to pass through them and with his speed he won't be able to most likely get to Cole.     But it would be a close call..kouse watched as the last clone stopped the boy.. And to kouse's amusement he noticed the boy had gone past his limit and had collapsed.. He bit back a laugh.. Poor fellow. 
He walked over to Cole who invited him to go get some food sometime. 
Kouse nodded.. "that would be nice"
Kouse would say his goodbyes to both Cole and risako... It was an eventful day.
Kouse would turn away with his long black hair blowing to the wind and would walk back towards the uchiha district.. Towards home and he hoped that they would meet one day again and maybe take up another mission.

By the time Risako had arrived, the kid had already been knocked out. Walking toward the group, she put her hand on the back of her neck and contorted her face to display a slight hint of dissapointment. "Guys," Risako said "you weren't supposed to be too violent with him." As she stepped within several feet of the unconscious boy, her eyes picked up that he was still breathing at least, and that Cole seemed to be worn out. She thought to herself, "I guess if Cole took some damage this kid was better than I thought."

Risako leaned over the kid and hoisted him on her shoulders, saying to Cole and Kouse, "Let's drop by the job building and see if they have anything for this." After that, she took the boy and her teammates to the office, where they were rewarded for quelling a riot. No bonus for the kid, despite his skills.

After that Risako spent the rest of the night on gate shift.
