Training for KKG and Genin (p,io)

The morning was still laden with fog when Taini was first stepping on the grounds of the train field at the academy. The sun was still mostly hidden behind the horizon. On the field Taini was think about how to go about his training because for weeks he had been shown how to try his transformation jutsu and the clone jutsu. Thinking this morning he would begin by practicing the transformation jutsu. With that decision locked into his thoughts he begins to settle his mind and focus of gathering his chakra. His run to the academy this morning had been enough of a warm up for his body to allow him to begin training right away. He pictures his target appearance in his minds eye and keeps gathering the chakra and slowly begins manipulating it into the façade he was picturing. His goal was to imitate his instructor just because after spending that much time training in under him he thought that that was someone that he had the clearest picture of. His thoughts focus in on the memory of his instructors face and his body to every aspect including the small scar on his face below his left ear. After minutes of focusing on this picture Taini has his charka aligned and he make the correct hand signs making sure to be proper and precise with each movement and sets his chakra to mold into his picture. In a large puff of smoke as the chakra releases he feels the jutsu take hold and opens his eyes to peer at himself. Looking at his body to realize that he has only made himself appear about six inches taller and now he has the pitiful foreshadowing of a beard. Taini had failed again but he would not give up he would succeed. (302wds)

It was early in the morning and cole didn't care much for it. He wasn't one to like the early morning stuff, but once he got up he was up and their was no fighting it. He grabbed a bowl of cereal and scarfed it down before walking out. Their had been quit a few new genin lately and he was curious about what was going on at they academy. Plus he hadn't seen his old teacher in a while, but he only stayed in the academy for a year, so he didn't make a lot of friends, but he did get kinda close to one of his teachers. He remembered that he had spent a little extra time every day teaching cole how to use his water element. Since he had mastered the clone and transformation jutsu as well has pretty much any other jutsu that they would teach at they academy in no time.

Cole would arrive at they academy and walking through the gate heading into the training grounds he would see an academy student. The kid seemed like he was trying to do the transformation jutsu based on the hand signs he was using. The kid did it but he kinda failed at it he had a bulldog face and a beard. Cole chuckled a bit he couldn't help it the kid looked funny. He figured that since he was already up and here that he would give the kid a hand.

Cole walked up to the kid “it would look like you are having trouble with the transformation jutsu. I could give you a hand if you want” cole would tell the kid. He would wait to see what the kid would say and if he accepted his help or not he would tell the kid that his name was Cole Yuki, and that he went here as well a few years ago. By now the sun was starting to take root in the sky rising quickly. It was shining in coles face over the school. Forcing him to squint a bit so that the sun didn't completely blind him.

As Taini was seeing his failure he saw the young genin approaching him from behind the ninja came up and introduce himself as well as asking if Taini would like some pointers on how to master the jutsu. In his mind he knew he could perfect the transformation with practice but he also knew that another set of eyes could assist him greatly.
As Taini released the jutsu he would also introduce himself as Taini Hyuga, extending his hand in friendship. He would ask Cole if noticed what had went wrong was it in his hand signs or maybe the chakra? Hoping to receive some valid feedback from the higher level ninja he asked humbly and respectfully. Cole watched as the kid turned around and cole really got a good look at the bad transformation. He managed not to laugh, but he did smile. “don't think im smiling cause you messed up kid you just reminded me of this kid I went to school with. You see he did the clone jutsu and his clone looked dead it was really funny. Aahh good memories” he would add with a bit of a laugh this time. The kid would accept cole help in learning the jutsu, and would tell him that his name was Taini hyguga.

“Thats cool kid I recently helped out another hyguga. Have you got you byakugan activated yet” cole would ask? He would listen to what the kid said if he hadn't he would help the kid get control of it. After the kid got done asnwering his question cole would then go on a bit of a rant.

“ok kid to start with i'm not sure how far you have gotten into this so just bare with me. First thing is first you chakra is a part of you so before you really get going into ninjutsu you must know that if you ever use all of your chakra there is a ninety-nine percent chance that you will die, so don't over do it. Now to the jutsu you just tried normally when you mess up like that you either put to much chakra or not enough to pull off the jutsu. You see if you put to much chakra not only are you wasting chakra but your putting so much into the jutsu that it fails and gets overloaded. Just like anything else if you put to much juice in a battery it can explode. While if you don't put enough chakra into a jutsu it won't work. Just like not having enough juice in a battery it won't work” cole would tell the kid looking to see if he understood what he was trying to tell him. This is a lesson that cole learned the hard way and has since worked on.

“now kid I'm going to do the transformation jutsu and show you how it is done. I want you to use your byakugan and watch me and look how my chakra works, and how I mold it. Then I want you to focus on in, and copy what I did” cole would tell Taini.

Cole would make the hand signs dog, boar, ram. While focusing his chakra into his hole body picturing the kid in his head. A puff of smoke would pop up and cole would have shrunk down to the size of the kid, as well as looking exactly like him. He would even take it a step farther and mimic his voice. “now I want you to turn into me” cole would tell the boy using Taini's voice. Cole would then release the jutsu turning back into him self.

OK Taini began to listen intently to Cole’s explanation of the workings of chakra and as instructed tried his hardest to summon his byakugan. His eyes would cloud over a touch now because his sight was still not trained and as fine-tuned as he would like it. Still he could see chakra in the body more another outline surrounding a person than the complex web of points and channels they had tried to show him at the Hyuga compound. He was focus very intently as Cole started doing the hand signs for the jutsu and he watched as the smoldering ball of chakra he was seeing began to spin slightly in his vision. He saw it ebb and flow with each hand sign and watch as the chakra in the body seemed to swirl and condense into the shape a boy about his size and shape.
After watching this jutsu form he could not hold the kekkei genkai any longer and let it release seeing Cole for what he had become and exact copy of himself down to the slightly bent nose and the chin that protruded just a touch beyond his face. It was perfect the part in his hair, the eyes he milky pupiless eyes of his bloodline. Everything had been done into perfection. Taini just stood in awe at the apparition before him and examined it thoroughly it only took several seconds to know that nothing was out of place but the amazement did not fade. The surprise only increased when he heard Cole speak. Not only was the body a perfect copy of his own but his voice as well.  Cole spoke in the slightly up- pitched voice and dialect of Taini it was astonishing that he could do this to such perfection.
After focusing in and standing in awe for an immeasurable amount of time it was now Taini’s turn to mimic the jutsu. Cole released the transformation and stood there so that Taini could examine him. His eyes absorbed every detail of Cole looking him top to bottom and from the side just to see that everything could be imitated. Ow he began to gather his chakra remembering the images of the swirling mass that he had seen and how it seemed to flow and ebb with the signs that Cole had used. HE pulled chakra in and thought about the amount weighing the proportion to that which he had used before and trying to match the amount he had seen Cole use just a few minutes ago. HE focused intently and steadied his breathing and worked his way through the hand signs precisely as he had witnessed. Dog, Boar, Ram… and he let the chakra go into the design he had thought about previously. Smoke appeared as it had done many time before and he felt the shroud of the chakra cover him and twist into shape. He opened his eyes to examine his work ad to his surprise he looked much like than ninja in front of him. Taller and more well-muscled than himself and when he spoke even then Coles voice came from his own body. Taini would never forget that feeling the correct amount of chakra the flow it took to shape it the hand signs all flowing together perfectly to shape his physical aspect into another from it was exhilarating and he would remember it.
As Taini let the jutsu release he was thinking if this would also apply to the clone as well as it had to the transformation. He turned and asked Cole to please answer this question. In reality it should be the same principle but different instead of placing the chakra around your body you would just place it beside you and control It from within. The form of the clone should be easy because it was just a copy of yourself which one must be very familiar with. Taini would ask Cole if he had time enough to help him also with the clone as well since his tutelage had proved well with the transformation. (Wc-684 TWC-1105)

“well yea it is pretty much the same theory behind them both, but the part about someone knowing their self's looks completely I don't really agree with. You see I very rarely know what I look like from behind. Mostly because I can't see behind me, so you have to kinda envision what your back side looks like, and then go with it. Plus when you get more familiar with the jutsu it will be easy to make two of them. Ill give you an example of it watch me with you byakugan like last time” cole would tell Taini as he started to make some hand signs.

He would make the ram, snake, tiger signs while focusing his chakra, and a clone of himself would appear beside him. “you see its not that hard, and with your use of the transformation jutsu you should be able to get this one down” cole would add before he let the jutsu go. The clone falling apart as he looked at Taini.

“You should also note, and work on the control of your byakugan while watching me. It could be good practice in mastering it as well. That way we can get a good spar in sometime when you graduate” cole would tell him. He also owed another hyuga a spar as well he remembered as he tole taini. O well if all else fails I could always just fight them both at the same time. That could be fun he thought to himself, as he focused to see if taini would be able to pull of the jutsu.

Taini was hanging on to Cole’s every word as he spoke and explained how to perform the next jutsu correctly and when Cole had finished he was ready try to activate his Byakugan again to watch the example that Cole was going to give. So this time it took Taini a minute to focus on his chakra he had his eyes closed and began to direct his chakra toward his eyes. Having studied the flow of chakra from the points to the meridians by ways of the many channels in one’s body he could feel the chakra being directed to his eyes. This time he was pumping as much as he could to try and clear his vision to see the manipulation of the chakra that Cole was demonstrating. He focused for a time and let his chakra fill the meridian paths nears his eyes and opened them feeling the sight slowly clear and seeing more precisely the flow in Cole’s body.
Taini could now see the different points in Coles body that were directing his chakra to the limbs of his body it was amazing how this system interacted and provided the body with the energy of life. Now looking intently at Cole he nodded his head to signal he was ready to observe.
Cole began the jutsu again by focusing on his chakra flow and manipulating it around his body but this time instead of wrapping the chakra around his body like a suit it slowly shrank and sealed itself around him more like a second skin or the exoskeleton of an insect. The chakras flow was actually following a copy of his own chakra network the directions flowed and moved until they lined up exactly. When his meridians would pump the chakra so would his “exoskeletons”. It was immaculate the way the two separate things matched so perfectly. Then with the formation of the last sign the outer coating of chakra moved to his left and it filled itself in showing two exact copies of the same chakra network. Through the lens of the byakugan they had no difference but it was amazing the precision the jutsu was performed with. Studying close Taini reviewed every step he had watched performed by Cole and began to commit them to memory in order to try the jutsu in the exact way Cole had shown him. After Taini had finished contemplating the jutsu he released the byakugan letting his sight return to normal seeing both images standing before him perfect copies in every way.
Taini remained focused as Cole released his jutsu Taini had already started focusing his chakra to wrap around his body much like transformation jutsu feeling the ebb and flow of his chakra next he began to think about how his own chakra was moving in his body and was forcing the chakra in the outer shell to flow in the same direction. Focusing his senses on each of the meridians he was able to feel as both of the flows were lining up it felt right in some ways as the two flows began to move exactly the same. Now all he had to do was direct the energy copy he had formed around himself to the side and allow it to fill in. Sweat was dripping down the front of his face as he began to direct the chakra to his right. The image shifted to his right and he could still feel the connection as if it was tethered to him somehow. He could feel the flows still aligned he knew he had created the copy in the exact way as Cole had and was pleased to see that when he opened his eyes he was standing beside an exact copy of himself. Now to be sure he would have to try to activate his byakugan with more power than he had tried before he would need to see with the upmost clarity to check his work on this clone. Without breaking his concentration on the clone he routed the chakra again to channels beside his eyes and let the flow open he pushed as much as he could into his eyes to fuel his byakugan and when he opened up his vision was perfect he could see every point in the clone and his own body the two swirled and flowed with the exact timing. Taini could not help to crack a smile as he turned to see Cole grinning slightly. Taini was filled with pride at finally activating his byakugan with enough effectiveness to see and at having performed both of his required jutsu for the genin examinations. Taini still understood that he would need work to fluently perform these jutsu but he had done them, and for now that was an accomplishment worthy of praise. Looking back at Cole the smile started to fade slightly as Taini started feeling light headed and sick to his stomach. The last thing that Taini remembered was smiling as he fell to the ground and he blinked out of consciousness due to expenditure of chakra. (WC-850, TWC-1955)

Cole watched as Taini perfumed the hand-signs. He had a feeling that the kid was going to do it and do it right, as taini finished the hand-signs a clone appeared. The clone looked pretty good “not bad” cole would tell the kid letting out a smile. He felt that he had did a pretty good job as a teacher. Taini then used his byakugan and looked at the clone, but taini would pass out not long after. School was still in at they academy, so cole picked taini up and carried him inside. He laid him down on one of the benches and went and told one of the teachers what had happened. After the teacher told him that he would keep an eye on him cole headed off. It was about noon now and he had some training that he needed to get done for him self today.
