Kill the Hyuuga (S rank Mission, Solo)

[Well, this has dragged on long enough. I most likely could defend against this but I think we need to tie this up]

One after another, the old man would not even be allowed to fall on his knee peacefully. A sudden cough of blood would come from his mouth after the blade sank into his stomach. The Hyuuga could hear his wife gasp at the stairs. He did not even need a glimpse to know he will not survive this, but he could no give up. For the sake of his family. The last bits of his strength would be spent to protect them.

Luckily having a blade buried in your stomach meant there was practically no distance to the hand holding it, so by the time his knee actually hit the floor the Hyuuga's left hand would already have a firm grip on his assailant's left wrist, preventing him from moving the sword further or letting go of it. That is unless they were stronger than him and could break free. But the old man knew that and knew not to take any chances. For that reason, the moment his grip was established bright blue light would surround both his hands. Two lion heads would form and the fangs of the left one would crush the invader's wrist. The other would slam into the blade, the fangs would rip and break through it, shattering the weapon into pieces leaving only the hilt. The Hyuuga would follow with his right hand thrusting for the man's face in attempt to demask and deface him, while making it even more difficult for the guy to escape by tugging his left arm towards himself.

[Yuumei blade is not effective enough to slice through Twin Lion Fist so you'll need something else to survive.]

(so sorry for all the delays, I promise I did not do it purposely to give myself more time to think or anything, I really was largely too busy :C

also, so far, looking at the pictures of the Twin Lion fists thingy, it looks like it does not cover the whole arm, just the hands, wrists, and maybe the forearms)

As Hysterio was allowed to slice at the Hyuuga with his left hand holding the sword, that would not change. As Hysterio’s right hand was largely ignored, however, as soon as he completed the second slashing stabby attack with his left hand blade, he would instantly shut off the Yuumei Chakra Blade (on his right hand) while reaching behind his back to grab his second (right hand) Vibroblade, a very short distance and one easy movement away. Unless somehow interrupted, he would grab the sword just around the time the Hyuuga finish falling to one knee.

 Unless given reason to do otherwise, his right arm would begin swinging straight forwards, his arm still bent so that he had about half the normal reach with his hand, his sword held in a normal forward grip, allowing a bit more flexibility with the close proximity of the opponent. As a result, the sword was business end first, angling straight for the Hyuuga’s left shoulder. If the Hyuuga was unable to defend, Hysterio’s sword would slice into the Hyuuga’s arm, separating the left arm from the shoulder.

If the Hyuuga had continued trying to hold Hysterio’s left wrist, the Hyuuga’s left shoulder would be exposed, and he would have difficulty repositioning to block Hysterio’s attack. In addition, if the Hyuuga continued to hold onto Hysterio’s left wrist, Hysterio would try and pull his left arm to the right, if the Hyuuga tried to hold on, he would find that Hysterio was a bit stronger, even if unable to break the Lion’s bite, and his left arm would be pulled farther to the Hyuuga’s right, this would make it much harder for the Hyuuga to defend against Hysterio’s right hand slash.

If the Hyuuga ended up letting go of Hysterio’s left arm, then Hysterio would retract his left arm straight towards himself, with the useless hilt of the Vibroblade still in his hand. Maybe he could poke old gramps in the eye or something.

Either way, if the Hyuuga managed to approach Hysterio’s right Vibroblade with one of those dangerous looking Lion shaped head thingies on his hands/wrists, or appeared to be making another attack that could potentially target the sword, then Hysterio would channel wind chakra through the Vibroblade in an attempt to reinforce it some to keep it from achieving the same fate as its brethren.

If the Hyuuga both let go of Hysterio's left arm, and tried to reach for the remaining Vibroblade, and Hysterio would likely be unable to attack the Hyuuga's left side successfully, Hysterio would blast the Hyuuga with a gust of wind, as the Hyuuga's hands would be up near his body or such, away from any convenient objects, and given that he woudl by this time be on one knee, and a stump, he would have trouble bracing, without first toppling over, any such efforts involving his hands would enable Hysterio to back away.

[Sigh, this has been going on for long enough, so I'm going to wrap it up]

Losing his arm Haru would succumb to the pain and blood loss. He would fall into the pool of his own blood. His last thoughts were of his wife and his grand daughter, about his failure to protect them. The darkness gathered around him and the guilt weighed. And in that darkness a single dot of light. He would see his son and he would follow him through that last ray of light into whatever came next.

As the old man fell, two kunai would come flying towards the assailant. It was his wife Kuni who was standing at the door, she threw the kunai. Seeing her husband fall she was obviously distressed, she would rush towards him but stumble and fall.

Thankfully, the fight with the taijutsu master was over, sort of. Hysterio was apparently successful in his last attack, perhaps due to his opponent's exhaustion, the Hyuuga falling to the ground completely, into a rapidly expanding pool of blood. Hysterio would have to clean off the bloodstains carefully later. As soon as the old man began to collapse this second time, Hysterio would retract his right arm towards himself, the blade pointing upwards and away from himself.

However, as the old man fell, bleeding profusely, Hysterio could see a woman who was most likely his wife launching some kunai at him, since the old man was on one knee to begin with. Unless the elderly Hyuuga happened to be very, very tall, Hysterio would be able to see over him, and certainly around him a little, as the opponent fell to the ground. The kunai were moving at a pretty decent clip, but Hysterio would notice them fairly easily, before they passed the old man (since they were most likely not aimed to go through her husband first before Hysterio).

As the old man was dying, his chakra constructs would begin to fade, and Hysterio would be able to bring his left arm back. At the same time, as soon as he saw the kunai coming at him, his right arm would swing with his blade to cut into the kunai. At the same time, as soon as the grip on his left wrist loosened, Hysterio would back away to the left or right, directly away from the kunai's lines of travel, to one side. In other words, if the kunai both came at him from the left side of his opponent, he would step to the right at the same time as slashing at the kunai with his right hand vibrobalde with the middle of the weapon, if the kunai came from the right, then the inverse would happen, both happening as soon as he could notice the kunai coming at him. If the Kunai were travelling on either side of the old man, then he would swing his Vibroblade to deflect the one to his right while at the same time stepping to the right to avoid the left hand kunai.

Regardless, Hysterio would activate the wind chakra blade on his right hand Vibroblade, at the beginning of this new series of movements, so that his blade could better survive a clash, just in case.

If he survived and/or dodged the kunai successfully, he would advance upon the grandmother, who presumably might still be next to the grandfather. Unless stopped, he would slash at the grandmother from a standing position, aiming to cut into her upper torso or head or neck, since she would have fallen towards her husband most likely. He was aiming for fatal injuries. Hopefully the little girl did not get in the way, this would prove a particularly annoying hindrance.

Don't have much detail to add about the situation, so assume grandmother dies and the girl is still on the bed. Finish the mission.]

The Grandmother appeared to be too distraught to notice the oncoming attacks, so she fell, with appropriately horrific injuries certain to traumatize any young mind, especially one that had just witnessed the almost as horrifying death of the Grandpappy. Lots of blood everywhere, Hysterio would need to take a quick dip into the water or something to get cleaned up. He sheathed his sword, and would reach to take the remaining half of the wire. Just in case, he was sensing for other chakras that might indicate he had been discovered by others.

Unless stopped, he would kick open the front door, aiming for the lock, sounds that hopefully would attract some neighbors, and certainly would let the little girl out to seek aid. Leaving an explosive tag on the door, he primed it, and then walked the maximum distance away from it to the ocean. As the hut was reasonably well built, destroying part of the door and wall would not compromise the rest of the structure, so the hut would not collapse from the explosion. However, the sound should be loud and clear in the quiet night, and the neighbors would likely arrive soon on the scene, and find the dead bodies and a rather unhappy little girl. Waving at Frank Sinatra, he continued walking away.

Once he was almost the maximum distance to detonate the explosive tag, he set it off, and body flickered to the edge of the ocean, where he would quietly slide into the water to remove the majority of the bloodstains. Soon after, Frank Sinatra would arrive, while attention from the neighbors would likely still be focused on the house some two hundred meters away, and not watching for some low lying birds. Grabbing onto Frank Sinatra's leg, Hysterio would get a lift back to his own apartment, the bird first flying away from the island until he would be difficult to make out from the island, then rising up until he would be but a speck in the night time sky seen from the surface of the ocean, before flying back over Hysterio's apartment and descending, to deposit him on the roof. As they flew away from the island, villagers were being attracted to the house Hysterio had invaded, after the sound of the explosion had resonated a little. Some resounding screams implied they had found the bodies.

Inside his apartment, Hysterio cleaned all his stuff very carefully, so that he could walk around in public like normal. Then it was nap time. For the duck anyway, which had poofed  back to the duck’s homeland. Both for him and the Duck which he had been silly enough to not call in. In the morning, Hysterio would need to visit the hospital, and likely would pretend to have done a different mission, so as to avert suspicion. For now though, there was a concept that he was curious to try. He was able to do a basic chakra infusion, and obviously, he could do one with Yuumei, and one with Wind related chakra. However, it looked like his basic infusion, without any chakra nature, could be stronger, since the Hyuuga seemed to do a similar concept with those lion head thingies. Hm.

Holding out a kunai, Hysterio began concentrating his chakra into the kunai. Switching his chakra converter to boost his strength, he began infusing the kunai with chakra while trying to bend the handle with his hands. At first, he was able to bend the handle, it was easy but he took care to not bend the kunai handle much in case it got stuck that way. However, as he amped up the chakra, slowly, he found it became harder and harder to bend the handle back the few degrees necessary to put it into the original position he was used to having them in. The kunai was covered by this time in a kind of thick glow from the chakra, though he was still largely able to touch the item. Still, he needed to practice maintaining it, so he did. For a long time. During which he was unable to bend the kunai knife handle further, which is presumably a good thing though it tended to bode badly for his ability to arm wrestle.

When his chakra was running low, he decided it was time for a nap, he would visit the hospital in the morning.
