His plan had worked, Kaze hadn't aimed to actually harm Salzem, yes he had used a fire based technique but he had not intended to cause damage to his sparring partner, they were just sparring after all even if he was allowed to use jutsu. Although it was purely unintentional Kaze felt as if his energy had been restored, he felt stronger (tying the stats in) all because he had managed to hit the pale man across from him. Looking at where the fireball had hit Salzem, his leg had only been seared a bit, but his pants leg was completely ruined, catching the look in his older counterparts eyes Kaze asked, "Do you want to..." His eyes widened slightly as he was interrupted as he was charged at.

Blinking quickly to save chakra, he deactivated his sharingan, it hadn't helped him much so there was no need to continue using it. Kaze slipped the three punches weaving in various directions his head narrowly avoiding them. Next to deal with was the kick coming at his side, the Uchiha simply met the roundhouse with a block from his arms cancelling it out, a knee followed. This was perfect for his plan, slipping a hand in front of his chest Kaze absorbed the force of the blow pushing away from Salzem using the momentum of the kick to increase the speed of which he traveled backwards a few inches above the ground. Gliding above the earth below, Kaze quickly wove some hand seals, "Fire Release: Great Fireball!" Exhaling the built up chakra the genin blew out a fireball roughly 2 meters in diameter, right at Salzem, his feet finally touching the ground causing him to come to a sliding stop. Kaze took in his surroundings, searching for his Jacket in case he had to put Salzem out, if the jutsu his, his jacket coincidentally right next to him.

(Ok so the edited math for my AP would be 100-25=75 for 5 post of sharingan, and 75-40=35 for both of my jutsu, great fireball required 20 AP and I assumed phoenix flower was the same seeing that they have identical ranks. I'm going to refrain from changing any stats in this topic from now on. Any problems let me know.)

As Salzem's attacks were dodged or deflected, Salzem noticed that Kaze had a second wind. his energy seemed to have been restored to a much greater extent that should normally be possible from just deactivating the Sharingan. Kaze used Salzem's kick as a push off so he could get enough room away from Salzem to activate another Jutsu. Kaze then, after weaving a hoard of signs, breathed in deep before expelling a 6 foot long fireball from his mouth. Salzem's once carefree expression turned serious. If this thing hit him, he would be dealt considerable damage. As the ball drew within arm's reach, Salzem threw a punch forward, strong enough to render a boulder sand (105 strength). Likely, the sheer force would blow a hole right through the fireball, causing it to disperse around Salzem. He would then shake his fist violently as some of the fire had caught onto his knuckles.

Kaze smiled as he watched his fireball be blown apart by Salzem's powered up punch. A few of the flames did however catch onto the pale man's fist causing him to shake his hand to put them out. 'So he truly was holding back.' The realization donned on him, 'I wonder how strong he truly is, hopefully I'll be that strong one day.'

Kaze made a few hand seals once again creating a clone, together they charged Salzem each weaving hand seals. The real Kaze was performing another clone jutsu bringing the total to two as well as the transformation jutsu while the clone pretended to blow out another great fireball, actually being the original. The clones would continue running at their target behind the fake fireball, each would throw various punches and kicks as the real Kaze upon getting close enough in his transformed form would then dispel the jutsu. Spinning around in the air he would swing his foot towards the face of the man in front of him. Following with a knee to the chin before placing a hand on the shoulder of Salzem flipping himself over the older boy, landing a few meters away, dispelling the clones.

Salzem believed that this training had gone on too long without him actually needing to stress himself. He figured it was time to use some of his true power. As soon as Kaze created the first clone, Salzem would dash at him at speeds of 50, throwing his fist through the clone, Strength 20, then throwing two quick jabs at Kaze: one at his chest, the other at his face (Speed 30, strength 11) Undoubtedly, this would cause enough damage to stop Kaze's attack. Salzem would then, if his attack succeeded, would hold up a hand, signaling the training exercise was over. If Kaze ablidged him, Salzem would stretch, then observe the damage on his ankle and knuckles. He would weave a sires of signs, causing his hands to ignite in a ghastly blue flame. His knuckles would be healed instantly, then he would move onto his ankle. If Kaze would allow him, Salzem would tend to Kaze's wounds as well, moving up to Level 2 if necessary.

Kaze's strategy had been blown apart the moment Salzem attacked, his movements were so fast the the young genin he could barely track them, first his clone was destroyed then the assault was turned towards him. The first punch connected with his chest evenly, it was a necessary sacrifice in order for him to have enough time to get his hands to his face and block the second punch. Regardless the speed of the blows were enough to knock him backwards a full meter. 'He's still holding back.' Kaze growled in his head, if something like that were so easy for his pale opponent he knew that was no where near his full potential. Comparing himself to Salzem he might as well be nothing, his abilities were nonexistent in comparison. His goal was to be one of the greatest and most revered shinobi ever, even more so than his father. Inside of his mind the Uchiha was lost, he wasn't sure what to do, he had never been so out matched in his life, he didn't no what to do. For the first time his will had been shaken, his hope as well. 'What do I have to do... I have trained my entire life, and in all honesty if this would have been a real battle I would have died helplessly.' Up until this point Kaze's faith in his abilities had never wavered, but at this moment he wasn't sure.

Looking forward, he could see Salzem was signalling for the end of their little match, if you could even call it that. Kaze was glad to be finished after seeing how weak he truly was. The genin watched as his older partner stretched and quickly healed himself; still lost in his woes Kaze would stand still as his injuries were healed, they were minor, no doubt because of how easy Salzem had gone on him. Assuming they were down, Kaze would wave a farewell to Salzem, "Thanks for the training." He would add before turning to leave, if he wasn't stopped from doing so.

Seeing Kaze leave in such disappointment left Salzem feeling a bit disheartened. He left regardless however. There was something of a personal nature that needed attending.
