Is it wrong to pickup children in the woods? P NK

Mako would have dropped to his knees and clasped the bite mark on his neck after the bite happened.  He would proceed to stand up from that position.  This was all too surreal to him, and made him quite nervous, he had a bad feeling and quickly realized that what he had agreed to may have been a very bad agreement.  He may have inadvertently given an enemy added power and strength,  and if that was the case he would have to wait and see. 

 He stood there now and watched as the corpse was summoned to their location and laid near the girl.  He inhaled deeply realizing the cigarette in his mouth was gone and dropped to the ground.  He felt a rush of relief as he knew the smoke would help him recover from the fear and paranoia instantly.  He reached into his pouch hurriedly and produced a small stick of tobacco and placed it in his mouth and then followed up by pulling out a match and striking it in a flash of flame, he put it up to the cigarette in his mouth and drew in.  He could feel the rush of the nicotine flowing through his body relaxing his muscles and his mind.  He did this all while Selene was telling him the secret to using the Shadow Imitation technique.  He had never delved in the Yin and Yang chakra manipulations though he had heard of it.  He formed the tiger seal out in front of him taking another drag from his cigarette and concentrating.  From within his chakra well he had little difficulty finding the Yang chakra and forcing it forward and pushing it out as it ran through him.    He felt it driving through his boady and down to his feet to his own shadow.  He could then feel the chakra pooling up at his feet and launching out from that point though it wouldn't go very far from him he had learned how to channel the yang chakra within himself, and it seemed less difficult than he would've imagined. Though it was unrefined and drained him greatly he felt that the breakthrough was profound for him.

Mako would simply watch as Kira did her Jutsu finding it odd, and somewhat dark.  And would continue his tutoring from Selene though he wouldn't let his guard down even with the friendliness at which they now spoke to one another.

"No no child. It's Rat. rat rat rat. Like this. " Once more Selene formed the rat seal to show him, allowing the chakra to flow through her body but not actually activating the jutsu. She watched his form, wishing she'd had the ability to see chakra as the Hell's angel. This would be significantly easier if she could speak. It wasn't clear how long the weakness would last which worried selene. It wasn't that she didnt have the strength to survive long enough, Kira like Amber was the type to thrive in danger however the longer she went nursing the weakness of her body the more rusty she would be with her jutsu, her reflexes...... It was just not a positive situation.


After a few moments Kira would finish with the jutsu, the last bit of the flames searing through her chest dissipating. It was refreshing to feel the burn. She hadn't felt a pain like this since..... She couldn't even recall. it'd been months since she truely felt alive. She couldn't remember the last time fear had gripped her. Was it before Youka? Possibly. With her transfew finished Kira continued to work on her jutsu. The changes in her arm had shifted away. Fuck. from her sitting position she ran her fingers through the earth, picking up a small stone pressed deeply into the soil. Almost immediately her flesh hardened, the jutsu she was working on still holding it's effect and shifting her body to take on this form.

"R...Remark...kable."

"No no no," Mako heard while he had his eyes closed concentrating on the shadow yang chakra.  He looked down and realized he was forming the tiger seal.  Hmph, he thought to himself, the tiger the sign of most Katon jutsu, it makes sense that he would fall naturally on that hand sign.  He also realized that though he felt the chakra in the shadow itself he had done nothing in the way of manipulating or controlling it.  He was moderately ashamed, though mistakes were fairly easy to make here in the dense of the woods.  

Mako resigned his hands forming the rat seal and repeating his previous actions, though this time he found the actions much easier to perform.  And he felt the yang chakra inhabit every inch of his body, though for him he expected it to be cold and lifeless, but instead it was warm and comforting similar to a mother's embrace, and for a moment he was taken back to his childhood with his mother holding him after he failed the academy.  A small tear found its way down his cheek though he managed to wipe it away.   Mako felt somewhat indebted to this mysterious stranger before him even though they had made an exchange of ability, because thanks to her he would always be close to his mother.

He watched as the shadow made a small point form at the front end extending outward in a non distinct trajectory as he simply just wanted to practice the shadow.  And though he was watching the shadow he kept one keen eye on the child who now lingered with the corpse before her.  Mako could not deny that the events he witnessed were quite strange and even frightening but as it stood she had already claimed allegience with the Leaf which made her more ally than enemy.  Mako concentrated as the strange Visage before him continued with their odd justu, hoping he had performed the jutsu successfuly.

In a small puff of smoke the body simply disappeared, it's power in Katon now established. Good, kira thought. Now just to put my concentration on this jutsu once more. She looked up, watching Mako as he began gaining control over the shadow jutsus. Her face began to grey, pure white skin turning like to stone as the jutsu finally began to flow through her body. She felt strength flow through her, The power of this new jutsu coursing through her veins. ~This..... This is incredible Selene. I've finished it. I um... I touched a stone.... And something happened. Now I feel strong. Like very strong. ~


"Good. Assimilation all creation is finished. Now we can work on something else. " What did they even have left? She could of course work with her blood. It would take little concentration to respond as needed having Kira take on the position of watching the boy with his jutsu. Yes. that would do well.

Mako wondered what these two were working on and planning with their training out here on the forest, they weren't just out here to tutor a scout hanging around the woods, thats for sure so he decided to hang around a bit and wait until he could discover a little more information on these mysterious individuals and what unique abilities they might possess or be in the process of training, in case he came across them as enemies in the future.  He chuckled with a smoke dangling from his mouth, because he doubted that would be likely.  However in a world of ninja being cautious was never a bad thing, and Mako knew how to be prepared.  He watched and learned continuing his training.  

Mako had never been the most prodigious student having to try things many times before truly getting the hang of it, unless it was learned in high stress situations where having to learn it on the fly was necessary to his survival.  Ranking the situation he was currently in he had deduced that he could have been killed several times over and his survival rested on the whimsy of small child and her sentient weapon, which ideally would fit the category of high stress situation.  MAko continued working on the shadow imitation though he had no doubt he could perform it, and he wondered if there were any other Shadow abilities that this Nara descendent had up her sleeves.

"Excelent. You've done well Kira. Keep working with this and we'll continue to grow stronger." She could feel the girl's will slipping slowly back to where it used to. her broken body fought against her but the same need to survive that had kept her alive for so long began to push against the weakness, forcing it's way through to ensure she continued what was needed. Her body stayed in this strange form, her skin a light grey color as she tested the aspects of stone out, turning her hands over once more to study the effects her jutsu had cast and as she payed sole attention to this Selene turned her attention once more to the konoha shinobi.

"I'm afraid we wont be able to be here much longer ninja of konoha. How is your jutsu coming along exactly?" She watched the shadow push its way as Mako described, testing it's edge against the base of his own shadow. he would get it soon she hoped. that was good. Turning her attention to the sky for a moment Selene considered exactly what the next step was. Five basic elements and one advanced. It was a good start but she still had two unused bodies that could benefit quite a bit from techniques. She knew of the wood style of course. That would be important to seek out and more so helpful to her in that they did in fact have dna to help them in that goal. now the only question was how to get it into a suitable host and extract jutsu from that. Maybe another ninja of the village hidden in the leaf would assist in this. either way she kept it in the abck of her mind. More jutsu would be a key. They just needed to gain more power and fill out the less helpful bodies they held. Amber and herself needed more then anything to gain strength. They couldn't rely on her weapon for everything.

Mako cringed, the child in the night did nothing to help his uneasiness about this whole situation.  He would be glad for it to be over, though he wouldn't mind meeting these two in much more hospitable circumstances.  

That would be when Mako heard the girl ask if he had the jutsu down, of course he had it down, he thought to himself.  He smiled and made the shadow point writhing on the ground look weak and dainty, and would let it move over to near where Selene stood. Deceptively pretending like it still was to weak to hold a person down, feigning dissapointmwnt on his face.  Then as the shadow neared her, he would surge his chakra forward snapping the small squiggly weak looking shadow into a stiff looking full formed mastered justu and connect it with Selene's exposed shadow, he meant nothing negative by this and would release it the moment he felt it grab hold and lock her in place, demonstrating his ability to learn on the fly.  

He would however have one more question before the two went back from where they came and he headed home to fill out his report about the current situation. One more jutsu that had been perplexing him for quite some time.  He would pipe up, "I have one more request if it wouldn't be too much of a burden, would you mind showing me the handsigns to the Exploding Clone jutsu, I am skilled with clones but cannot figure out the handsigns for this one.  I greatly appreciate what you have shown me here tonight and if you ever need a hand I will not be far away..." Mako would say with a smile on his face.  He meant it, though he secretly hoped the scary lady never called on him again.  All he needed was to see the hand signs for the jutsu and he could manage to master it in short work in the situation.  He waited to see what Selene would say to that request.

With a nod Selene walked forward, hands held open to show once more he offered her no danger. "It's nice to see some within the village who do not immediately distrust us and wish us harm. Your Element will be a great help. " If allowed she would pat him on the shoulder, a gesture she was told emphasized comradery, and with it secretly put a mark seal on the boy so that they can call on him as needed. With this done she would form the seals slowly, showing him what he asked twice through before giving him another soft nod.

"I hope to see you again Ninja of Konohakagure. If you need assistance or the village is in trouble cry sorrow. We will be there shortly to aid in the protection. Kira...I believe its time to go child, come. " With that she turned, walking towards kira. The action was unneeded of course. They werent going to walk all the way back to their home. That would be rediculous.

~Amber. Our session is over. We met a kind man from the village. We're ready when you are.~ Moments later Kira disappeared, summoned away with Kira in tow only seconds after.

(TWC 3805 claiming 19 stats, claiming assimilate all things finished trained and fire element in kira's wind body exit.)

Mako would reply with just nods and would allow the pat on the shoulder, he would memorize the signs for clone explosion quickly and imitate exactly what he was shown easily producing the clones without difficulty, he could tell she knew the jutsu as her seamless transition showed the sign of a master.  He dismissed the clones as she left harmlessly.  Well, he had much to tell the Hokage upon his return.  After meeting a friendly Missing Ninja in the borders.  He lit up a cigarette and finished his duty and returned home.  When he would return he would spend the rest of the night writing up a detailed report of what he had seen though he would hang onto it before turning it in, leaving it in his file cabinet with his other dossiers waiting to present such things when he applied to ANBU.
