Training Day 1 (Shadowclone Jutsu)
Fri Oct 30, 2015 10:29 pm
Kaneki was used to spending days with his father learning new Jutsu, so today was just another day to the boy. While looking back to his father Kaneki could not help what was on the older man's mind. His father, like him had snow white hair, but it fell elegantly over his shoulders and was like silk while his son's was slightly shaggy. Hideki, Kaneki's father, was wearing a black kimono and simply stared into the distance as they made their way towards the training grounds. "Dad are you ok? You're doing that weird...looking thing again." Hideki's eyes left the training area and went down to his son with a slight laugh. "You worry about your Shadow clone's. I'll worry about me, now than, what did your teachers tell you about the Shadow clone Jutsu?"
Kaneki paused to think as they walked into the third training field. He looked around at the various dummies and supplies set out for shinobi training. "The Shadow Clone technique is a basic shinobi Jutsu used primarily for distraction and confusion." The boy parroted the same words he heard spoken in the academy only the day before. While Kaneki spoke Hideki began to form the three simple Hand seals to conjure a shadow clone. Ram. Snake. Tiger. "Shadow Clone Jutsu." As the Jutsu set in a cloud of smoke appeared next to Hideki, as it cleared a perfect shadow clone stood in it's place. "The Shadow Clone Jutsu doesn't take much Chakra. Don't waste time focusing too much chakra in to the Jutsu, also it is a basic chakra control technique so where using too much chakra is dangerous, using too little can have equally bad results."
Kaneki took a moment to go over the three hand seals, as he spoke he formed the corresponding hand sign. "Ram, Tiger, Snake. That's easy to remember." Hideki slapped Kaneki on the back of the head before speaking once more. "Ram, Snake, and Tiger. The order of the hand seals is just as important as the seals themselves. Try again Kaneki." The boy had finished rubbing his head before nodding and trying once more. "Ram, snake, Tiger. Is that good, Dad?" Hideki shook his head once more before forming the three hand Seals slowly. "When forming the hand signs you want to be swift and precise, careful not to mess up the rhythm of the Jutsu." Kaneki nodded before pausing before practicing the three hand signs. Ram. Snake. Tiger. After he did it a few more times his father nodded and stopped his practicing. "Ok, good. Now work on channeling the chakra while doing the hand signs, after that release the Jutsu and you should have a perfect shadow clone."
Kaneki nodded before focusing on his chakra, as he focused he felt warm as the chakra moved through his body. "Ok, I'm going to make two shadow clones!" Upon hearing him his father started to object. "Kaneki no you-" Before his father could finish Kaneki began to move into the hand seals. Ram. Snake. Tiger. "Shadow clone Jutsu!" With a large emergence of smoke Kaneki smiled before the smoke parted and he saw the results. While Kaneki had managed to conjure two clones they were...below par. One clone wore clothing that matched that of his father's, not his. Though the other clone was in even worse condition, it had no hair and was sitting on the ground rather lazily. Kaneki looked between them before scratching his head. "What's wrong with them?"
Hideki, once again, slapped Kaneki on the back of his head. "Focusing on yourself is the key to creating a proper image. While you were making the hand seals your thoughts were on me, so one of the clones clothing ended up matching mine, not yours. The other....was just a vast failure. Try again and this time quite playing around. Start off with one clone and worry about multiple ones later." Kaneki nodded before exhaling as the two previous clones faded away in another pop of smoke. He brought his hands up to prepare the hand signs and trying again. Ram. Snake. Tiger. "Shadow clone jutsu!" This time as the smoke appeared Kaneki felt slightly better about it, when he opened his eyes he saw a perfect clone of himself and smiled widely. "Nice." His father nodded in acceptance before walking over to a bench. "Continue to practice the Jutsu for another hour. Than we'll have lunch."
After finishing his morning training and lunch Kaneki had already exhausted quite a bit of chakra, but he was still not done for the day. As he looked up to the midday sun he knew he was at least half done now. His father walked over to him and instantly started the next lesson. "Now then, the transformation Jutsu, like the Shadow clone jutsu is a technique which requires chakra control, but unlike the shadow clone jutsu it requires a constant flow of chakra." He paused before showing the hand signs to the jutsu. "Dog, boar, and Ram are the three signs used for this jutsu. You've done this one before so I am sure it will be easy for you, but remember, constant control."
Kaneki nodded before pausing and looking to his father. "So what do I transform into? Just you or a tree?" His father shrugged before laughing. "You can transform into me, your mother, a tree, a rock. It doesn't really matter, just transform." This time Kaneki nodded before trying the three hand signs a few times. Dog. Boar. Ram....Dog. Boar. Ram.....After a few more tries he looked to his father and exhaled. He felt his chakra flow through him before moving trying the hand seals once more. Dog. Boar. Ram. "Transformation Jutsu." A puff of smoke appeared and as it cleared Kaneki had taken the full form of his father, the only problem was he did not compensate for the nine inch difference between the two. As Hideki looked down on the miniature version of himself he sighed. "You have the image perfectly, but you forgot I'm not a shrimp like you. Now, try again."
Kaneki sighed before once more trying the jutsu. Dog. Boar. Ram. "Transformation Jutsu!" This time as the smoke cleared Kaneki had made himself into a perfect image of his father. He smiled but as he looked around his father was no where to be found. Upon finally turning around he saw his father walking towards the village. "Dad?" His father did not turn to him before speaking back to him. "Practice for another hour, after you have finished come home." As usual his father was as vague and aloof as he could be. With a soft sigh he returned to his training in solitude. As he continued for the rest of the day he wondered what he would have to learn next, weaponry jutsu, fire style, maybe a summoning? His imagination ran As an academy student Kaneki tries wild as he though about the endless possibility of new jutsu he could learn.

Approved, but just so you know it is not the shadow clone jutsu. It is just the regular clone jutsu which is the lower ranked one you were training here. Cheers.
