Thief in the Village

Mission:

As the alarm clock rang, Kyson woke up immediately. He quickly turned it off as it began to annoy him. Kyson has been doing endless missions around the village. And there will be even more in the mere future. He is working hard to become a jounin so he can be a bigger part in protecting the village. After jounin, his job is to become a DUST member. Even though Koroshi didn't think he was ready yet, Kyson is determined to prove to him he is ready to give his life up for anyone in the village. One day he will reach that rank and he will be twice the ninja he already is. Kyson began to get up from his bed and headed towards the bathroom. He began to brush his teeth and then took a shower. After that, he put on his normal attire and was heading out the house. As he left the house, he began to see what was going on with the village today and see if he could find something to do. As he was walking, another fellow chunin approached Kyson. First thing that came to Kyson's mind was another mission. As so he spooked.

"What's up?" The Hozuki chunin asked the other fellow chunin. He knew it was going to be another mission but he waited for the ninja to reply.

"Hey Kyson, we have another mission for you. Sorry, I know it seems that we are always coming for you but some of our other ninja are busy." The chunin said. He was right, it did seem as if the village was only coming for Kyson to complete the missions. But it didn't matter to him, whatever what was best for the village was fine to him. 

"It's alright, I'm kind of used to it by now. Anyway, what's up." Kyson said to the chunin. Kyson thought this one might be a little more serious but not really serious. Since they came to him personally, it might have to deal with some events going on in the village that Kyson had to stop.

"There have been a couple villagers who have reported their stuff being stolen. Some of their belongings have been stolen from the same theft. Actually, we're not sure if its just one of them or multiple of them. But your job is to find that out and capture him and bring him back to HQ. The victims live a couple blocks from here, southwest from here. That is your mission." The chunin said as ran off. 

Kyson began to run southwest towards the area of the victims. He was running at a speed of 50 towards the area. When he reached about two blocks southwest. He saw a lot of commotion surrounding  two houses. There was about 15 people gathered around the houses, this must be the victims who their things stolen. That's what Kyson began to think to himself. Kyson walked through the commotion to find answers. 

"Excuse me, are you guy's the victims who got their belongings stolen?" Kyson said to the group of people. He wanted to know exactly who got their things stolen and wants to find out what they know.

"Yes, they took my wallet and some of our jewelry. We are not sure how they managed to sneak into our houses and steal out stuff without us knowing. They must be some pretty skilled thieves. They wore brown cloths all around their body." The man said as he explained to Kyson exactly what happened. The man said "they," so that must mean that there are more than one of them. That's good to know, Kyson thought.

"Thanks, one last thing. Do you have any idea of where these thieves could be located? Anything at all?" Kyson asked the man because this could be crucial information. He wouldn't have to search the entire village.

"Sorry but I have no idea." The man said to Kyson. Kyson was a bit disappointed with his answer. Its like trying to find a needle in a haystack. 

"I understand, thank you. I'll get your stuff back in no time." Kyson said as he ran off. He doesn't know how he will catch the thieves but he has a goo idea or plan. He will use a genjutsu to disguise an item to look very valuable.  And hopefully one of them would fall for the genjutsu and Kyson could put a tracking on them so he could lead them to the others. Kyson saw a statue that was about a foot tall. He used a genjutsu to make it look it was completely gold and shiny. This could possibly catch the eye of one of the thieves. Kyson put a mark seal on the statue so if the theft takes it, he could follow them to their stronghold. As Kyson kept his distance from the statue, he waited for about half an hour before he saw someone approach it. As he saw the person approach the statue, he saw the brown cloths the man was talking about. The plan will actually work just as Kyson expected. As he closely examined what the theft would do, he saw him look at the statue and smile.

"This would make us a fortune!" The theft said as he took the statue and ran off. Kyson followed the theft but put the mark on the statue in case he lost sight of him. Kyson continued to follow them until he saw the theft go inside of an abandon shack that had a basement. The theft closed the door to behind and Kyson used his silent footsteps and ran towards the entrance of the door. As he was outside of the door, he used his sensory skill to sense how many people are inside of the house. He sensed three people inside and they were in a basement. Kyson used his Hydrification technique and turned into a puddle to slide under the door. As he was on the other side, he solidified himself . The first floor looked really old and dusty. He then proceeded to the basement and used his Hydrification to slide under the basement door. After he was on the other side of the basement, he solidified himself and used his hiding in the camouflage technique to turn invisible. He still has his silent footsteps skill activated. As Kyson began to walk in the basement undetected. He heard the voices of the thieves.

"HA HA! WE'RE GOING TO BE RICH! GOOD JOB MA'BOY." The first theft said. It was clear they didn't notice it was a genjutsu that made the statue look gold.

"Yeah man, you really out did yourself this time." Theft number two said.

"Thank you, thank you. This has to be our best catch yet." The third theft said. Kyson then turned off his invisibility and appeared 5 meters in front of the thieves. 

"Sorry to ruin your fun guy's but that statue isn't really gold." Kyson said as he released his genjutsu and turned the statue back to normal.

"WAIT, WHO THE HELL ARE YOU!? AND HOW DID YOU GET HERE!?" The first theft said.

"I put a seal on the statue and have your friend lead me to your little hideout." Kyson said as he was yawning. It was getting kind of late.

"Well you know we can't let you live after finding our hideout, right? Lets get him bo...." Theft number one said as  Kyson cut him off by using hoho to run at 100 speed towards all three thieves. He used his five elemental seal and touched all of them on the chest in a blink of an eye. The thieve passed out immediately. Kyson saw the wallet and the jewelry they took. Kyson didn't feel like carrying everything, so he just marked it all with his mark seal. He then ran out the basement and out of the house. He ran back to HQ at a speed of 200 using body flicker. As he reached HQ, he saw the higher ranking ninja's.

"Hey Kyson, the job is done? Where's the thieves?" The Jounin asked as he looked a bit confused to see Kyson come empty handed.

"Here they are." Kyson said as he did the summoning technique and summoned the thieves and the stolen jewelry. The jounin began to smile as Kyson completed the mission.

"Thanks again Kyson, we'll take care of these guy's and take the stolen items back to the owners for you. That's the least we could do for you after an amazing job as always. Take care." The jounin said to Kyson as he was appreciative towards his mission being completed.

"No problem." Kyson said as he walked away from HQ. Another mission finished and Kyson was now done for the day. Kyson hasn't trained in a while but these missions are going to be a substitute for it. Kyson then heads home as he prepares to make some food and get a good night sleep.
