Training With Zakary O, NK

Zakary had went back to the training field. This time, he'd learn an Earth Style jutsu. Rock Section Cane could be very useful jutsu, if only until he learned a better one. He raised his hand in a one handed seal, Tiger, and tried to raise a version of the cane. It had hardly raised a few inches before crumbling away. "Every time I get some idea of what I'm supposed to do with my time..." Zakary sighed, debating whether or not he should move on to just physical training. His legs were not exactly going to crumble away because he couldn't run well. The cane, on the other hand... He tried to raise another from the ground, but once more to no avail. Someone could probably help him train this jutsu, almost definitely could, but maybe it was better he trained alone. He could get more proficient with using chakra for different jutsu and then make his own. An image of a shinobi clothed in shadow armor, either stealthily or aggressively accomplishing his goals. First, he'd have to get better at his chakra transformation and change in nature. Zakary had firmly decided that he would try this alone but would not refuse help. Another one handed Tiger seal, and he raised up a cane. It was deformed, thin, and knotted, but it was the first that worked. It had no use. If it were used for anything that would put stress on it, it would break easily. It was just generally not good, but a few more tries and he would have the jutsu on lock.

These canes had better prove that they would be useful. Zakary was taking a couple minutes break, careful about over exertion. Best to be ready if something happened. Not that he expected something to happen, everything was really boring. The way he saw it, nothing would happen unless he made it. Forming the seal, he tried out the jutsu he had been trying to perform again. Again, it failed in a crumbling mess. Deciding not to leave piles of dirt from his training, Zakary knocked away the accumulated piles with the cane he had made, although horribly crafted. Oh well, he'd probably catch on to this jutsu soon enough. Maybe this would work like the fuinjutsu lock he'd practiced. He just needed to take a moment to stop and think. He promptly followed said course of action, wondering which fault he was dealing with out of the many it could be. Absent-minded, he rubbed his fingers across the headband he now wore. Deciding upon a solution, he raised his right hand in a Tiger seal and extended his left to the side. Up popped a cane, almost perfectly formed, into the boy's hand. It was still thin, and a bit malformed, but compared to his last work it was an absolute masterpiece of a cane. Zakary threw the first creation like a javelin at a nearby dummy, and it's trajectory was unpredictable enough to land it way off target. Aiming at the dummy's neck now, he threw the newer one. It was more on target, but the cane still missed and pegged the dummy in the torso because of the odd shape and variety of factors acting on it. Though the training was repetitive, he carried on making another cane. This one formed exactly as he had intended, virtually perfect. When thrown, it stayed exactly where he aimed it, and that throw concluded Zakary's training for Rock Section Cane. He headed home, and while he did he untied his headband to examine it. Though it had no significance to him, it did show his current strength. He'd have to advance it soon.
