Follow the wood [P] - Page 2 Empty Re: Follow the wood [P]

The life of a traveling leader sure did sound wondrous. Sure, the villages he could visit were limited now after the influence of his group had been exercised over the minor villages. He could visit the ruins, perhaps. He hadn't meditated at the ruins of old Kirigakure for quite some time.. deep under the sea, resting where thousands had died, your adopted family included.. it was a weird feeling, but it acted as a tool to calm Xyxer, returning to the only roots he recalled. The mention of Youka, however, brought Xyxer back to reality. A slight smirk had formed upon his lips, remembering when the fool had tried to invade Tengakure. An assassination contract by his friend of old, and ironically, his inspiration as Kage. So, perhaps that was what had caused the fellow demon to have so much audacity as to fight the Abysswalker. Xyxer was unsure as to whether that information was relevant, so he simply retained it unless inquired.

He understood what Demetri had desired, he had seen it before in his old leader Suzaku. Martyrdom. It was strange how leaders who attempted such an action were often viewed with disdain afterwards, surely Xyxer would never do such a thing in case his good name was tainted with foul rumours. He did recall a letter from Yukigakure regarding his visit.. he did not entirely recall a visit. Maybe he was too small of a character for him to remember, or perhaps he was simply dead before he could fulfill that ambition. Watching the girl approach him and then continue walking, he was struck with another intrusive thought. Would he eventually kill her? As she walked in front of him, the thought of striking out came into his mind. A simple left jab would catch her off guard, then a heavy right hook would shatter her jawline for sure.. An uppercut to solidify the pain and disorientate before a bone shattering body hook. Blood would pool around them both sanctimoniously. Closing his eyes after such vivid thoughts, he pressed his thumb against his nose, in particular the part in between the eyes. Inhaling deeply for a second through his nose, he exhaled and walked beside her, his hands hidden back inside of his cloak. It was a strange attire for a bar, but oh well. "A bar? Well, whatever floats your boat. I thought you preferred the bakeries, after all, that's what you said in the first conversation we had." It was rather memorable, after all, Jester nearly molested her and Altar had came out to try and escort her in under his nose. He'd simply have to limit his alcoholic intake, otherwise his fantasy may end up twisting into reality, after all, it would not be the first time. While they walked, he tried to take his mind off of it's thoughts, distracting it with questions it could find amusing, "Insulting a man after his death is considered rude, you know." He turned to look towards Rakka, "Was his only crime not being able to provide all of his people with food?" It was an interesting question for Xyxer, as he got to prod at Rakka's mental state regarding hatred as well as find out what one of his shinobi considered a bad leader. Then, just for the banter, he'd toss in while looking back towards their destination, where ever it may be, "Isnt it the job of a high ranking shinobi to preserve the life of their leader, no matter how foolhardy he is? Betrayal is loathsome, regardless of the degree."

Rakka laughed a little at Xyxer's response.
"You must be joking." She said, shaking her head. "If you truly believe that incompetence is no excuse for turning your back on your leaders, then why did you choose to help overthrow the previous Tenkage? Why not strike the one who first claimed the throne down in their absence?" She asked, hoping she had recalled her current events correctly. A seizing of a major village wasn't typically something that went silently. "The people have the right to overthrow a leader that doesn't serve them. That's the sole purpose of a government, and if a leader can't do their one and only job, why continue to serve them? Demetri wanted only for his own legacy. I think it's fitting that it remain in tarnishes for all his trouble." She said simply, shaking her head. "A leader's job is to look out for his people, not himself. His crime was not serving his people."

She noticed the Mizukage following behind her for awhile, turning and looking over her shoulder.
"You know, usually when people walk together, they walk side by side. I'd prefer to know you aren't just staring at my ass." She said, waiting for the Mizukage to get alongside her. "But yeah, if you're worried about me, then don't. The people here are safe. Safer then they've ever been. People fear Kirigakure. That means our citizens need not worry about invasion, and in my book, that's all that matters. I'll stay loyal to the end, if we stay on this path." She told him. "Yukigakure was a drastic circumstance. Starving, freezing people, with a leader who ruled in absentee and made me do all of his dirty work. You know, the first time we met, he asked me for blood? He wanted my Kekkei Genkai. He cut me with a knife and let it drip into a bowl, then rushed off to the hospital like the greedy little dog he was. He didn't care for his shinobi. He didn't care to strengthen them, he only cared for himself." She said, sighing.

Follow the wood [P] - Page 2 Empty Re: Follow the wood [P]

Rakka's response was effective in that it somewhat disarmed Xyxer. He had difficulty putting himself in the sandals of another shinobi, but she had forced him to do so. He had degraded her for allowing the death of her Kage to occur, and yet he had done nearly enough the same with the declaration of both Shinji and Denkiteki as missing shinobi to Tengakure. In fact, he had even tried his best to execute Denkiteki the first time they had met.. His torso sliced from his legs, and yet the legs, much to Xyxer's dismay, found themselves useless;a new pair sprouting from his bloody stump. Was it the power that had allured him to allowing Takeo usurp? Their long absence mattered little to Xyxer in reality, after all, the longer he was unsupervised the more brutality he could inflict. Opening his mouth a little, he replied, "Betrayal is loathsome, Rakka, but the slaying of a brother is unforgivable. If I was to stop Takeo's usurping, I'd have had to kill my own kin." A flashback ran through his mind, reminding him of the time he carved deeply down into the torso of Takeo with his blade, almost taking his life when he was Tenkage. "Besides, both of those Kage had betrayed me, I held no loyalty to them. Regrettably, however, if you wanted to find the two former Tenkage, you'd be able to most likely. I did not have any hand in an event that could have ended their lives.. One of us here did not stand idly by as their leader was cut down before them." Xyxer coughed a little, and added in rapid succession, "Althoughoneofusdidcutdowntheirformerleadertowatchhimregenerate" And it all ended with another cough, what funky placement. After that, his eyebrow lifted a little at the girl's end sentence, "You do know I destroyed the former home of my people, right? To move to somewhere I prefer? Isnt that serving my own interests, and something that should aggravate you?"

Moving along beside her after the incident regarding intrusive thoughts, he sneered,  "Don't flatter yourself, it's not that impressive." Listening further to what the girl had to say, she spoke of loyalty and of safety.. Could Xyxer still be deemed loyal when he had usurped his own brother, left the village that had nurtured him weeks before it's destruction to follow a leader he later watched be butchered right before his eyes, all without killing the assailant? As for safety, well.. there was no safety in this world of deceit and blood, Haru had experienced that, just like Xyxer had when his limbs abandoned his body in the chamber of the Tenkage.  "And tell me, what is it like to watch the people you once saw sunbathing and enjoying their life suddenly change? Their hands becoming callous, their muscles stiffening, their lives.." He paused a little, turning to look towards her to see if he could pull anything from her facial emotions,  "Suddenly becoming shorter? I mean, sure, it's a great climate for you, but you care more for the people, right? That's why you allowed for Demetri to fall, so the people of Yukigakure could get a good leader." In fact, he was pretty certain that everyone in Yukigakure would have been slaughtered if Youka had visited there, or maybe that was just Xyxer's id speaking, "What about the village the people of Shimagakure are forced to endure, or of course, throw themselves into the sea and try to overpower the storm.. which none of them ever do. We may be safe from invasions, but are the people they truly need to fear on the outside of the walls, or have they been inside for quite a long time?" Xyxer started to wonder how the conversation had went from looking at her ass to him speaking about the citizens potentially being under duress in their new lives. Maybe Xyxer was just bad at attempting to not play mental games, perhaps.. he was still trying to mentally break people with his conversations. He'd have to work on that.  "I'm not sure if you're familiar or not, Rakka, but a ritual in Kirigakure is to slice your hand in front of a pretty statue when you gain a rank. Blood is sacred, regardless of who's it is. If you shake a hand, it's a mere verbal contract. If you exchange blood for a deal, it's more, because if you leave the deal unfulfilled you're left with cursed blood pumping through your veins until your last day. Besides, you're a strong, indepedent shinobi who don't need no leader, why didnt you just refuse to donate your blood to him?"

Follow the wood [P] - Page 2 Empty Re: Follow the wood [P]

Xyxer seemed to zone out for a moment at Rakka's statement. Perhaps he was reflecting on the betrayal he himself had gone through with. Ah, if only, right? No, it seemed Xyxer had turned a little hostile with her. He responded that betrayal was second to the killing of a brother, which confused Rakka. She had done her research, and she hadn't the slightest idea who this "Brother" was, unless she meant it in a spiritual sense.
"Err, brother? I thought the man who seized the title was, well... Not in any relation to you." She said, scratching her head. "Hold on, you just said I should have stayed loyal, no matter the reasons for betrayal. Demetri betrayed me as well. He sacrificed the freedom of the village for his own legacy. If that's not treason, I don't know what is." She argued, moving a strand of hair from her face and attempting to disguise her frustration. Being called a traitor will do that to you.

The... Cough...? Ugh, the cough made by Xyxer confused Rakka just a bit, as it contradicted what he said earlier. For a man who wore eyeliner, he sure wasn't easy to read.
"You cut Denkiteki in half?" She asked, baffled. "I think that makes you a hypocrite, Xyxer." She said plainly, looking over at Xyxer with one eye closed.

Xyxer seemed to be testing her, as he seemed very intent on getting her to not like him. He asked her if she saw any flaw in his moving of Tengakure, citing that he did it to please his own interests.
"At least you kept those people alive. At least you didn't leave Tengakure, or raze it with its people still inside. You didn't waste their lives." She said, shrugging. The conversation shifted as Xyxer caught up, sneering at her remark and making a snide comment about her... lacking... in the posterior region. Rakka laughed out loud.
"You couldn't know that unless you looked." She said with a smirk. "And hey, you're the one that "Fell for me"..." She jeered.

Xyxer's words about the people were harsh, and it seemed to her like his motives and even his morals changed every instant, like he was switching back and forth on a teeter toter.
"I'm not the one that should answer that question, Xyxer." She said, looking over at him, her tone much more serious. "I suppose that question falls to you. What do you hope to achieve as leader? What do you hope to leave behind when you're gone? If you didn't serve the people, they'll remember. They always do." She told him. "So what do you think that Xyxer Gyojin will be remembered as? The one who gave Tengakure and Shimagakure some backbone? The one who resurrected the memory of Kirigakure? Or the one that drove his people to revolution?" She asked. "Only you can decide that."

Then, Xyxer seemed to defend Demetri in the case of the blood. Oh, it seemed he just loved to contradict her for the fun of it.
"To be honest, it was blind hope. I didn't know the kind of man he was, yet. We had a new leader, and I had hope for my village. I was wrong to hope." She said.

He shrugged a little as she spoke, a small smirk had firmed upon his features when he realised some minor displays of irritation were being presented. She didn't enjoy being called a traitor, which was understandable since Xyxer would find the title exceedingly degrading. In all truth, he could not care any less for what Demetri had died for, how he had died or who he had served. Discovering the flaws of his own subordinates was very useful however, and for that, he thanked the man who apparently committed assisted suicide. "Takeo is my brother, as weird as it sounds. I couldn't permit anyone to hurt my family, even if that means I had to go against my village partially to do it." Running a single hand through his hair, he was surprised to recall that his brutality actually lessened when his brother had usurped the Kages. Perhaps he was able to defend some form of compassion for the villagers at that point.

However, a frown shortly appeared on his lips when Rakka feigned, or at least he hoped, not knowing that Xyxer had cut the man in half. A crowd had gathered when he done it.. S-Rank on S-Rank. Some hot ninja action. Hell, even her leader had watched the male lose footing, then Youka himself had interfered! Pushing the rage that had built aside, he attempted to play it off, "We all have flaws, it's only right that the leader of a bloody village can remember he's mortal." Pausing for a moment, he smirked when he turned briefly to look at the statue of himself quite a way away, but still visible. "Besides, I thought you were getting too upset with the banter." he teased, his features twisting into a grin as they continued to walk

Perhaps Rakka was right. He was unsure why he had kept the citizens of Tengakure alive. His brother had wanted their execution, and perhaps, it would have been best for him to move on. There was.. something though. Perhaps it was because they had became his people, and as flawed as they may be and uncaring for their previous leaders, they were still his. Although, a definite factor that had weighed on him was the potential of Kenchi moving with the mass. That silver haired devil had made a huge impact on Xyxer's life, and then had simply vanished. Had he been assassinated? To get at Xyxer? Scratching the side of his head, he was soon however snapped out of those thoughts when laughter erupted from beside him. A reply to his more direct jeer, which amused him. Sending one hand out from his side, he pushed her arm playfully in retaliation, or at least he hoped it was playfully as explaining how she went flying through multiple buildings would be extremely difficult to play off. "That was a good line at the time. You weren't the one who had just experienced paralysis while relaxing. Although don't worry, I'll make sure to interrupt your training from now on as vengeance."

She spoke about his memory to the village and made quite a few good points. Although, he heavily doubted that the village would rebel even if they wanted to. Crime had dropped inside of the village for a reason, and that was because even the most minor one was treated with an excessive cure. "Regardless of my actions from here on out, I'll be remembered as the one who brought about the rebirth of the Mist." He paused a little, starting to wonder what he wished to be known for. His bloodiness? His excessive whims of violence? His honour when fighting opponents? His torture of those unworthy of a good death? So many choices he could make that would eventually make his image. It was a rather overwhelming moment. What he did as an ANBU need not carry on. He could iron out the flaws of his previous Kage and meld together their strengths.. He just needed to tame himself. To tame Xyxer's calling. "Although, you are right. What am I known for by the lower ranked shinobi and citizens?" He was unsure as he was unable to spend time around others without some degree of fear working through them normally. It had alienated him, and slowly his gratuitous violence had lost any meaning.  Perhaps a change was called for. That's what the spirits of Kirigakure would like.. an evolving leader. Not one stuck in such a rigid mindset. He refused to go the way of the Suzaku, and for that he'd need to have allies inside of his own village.

A stray look to his side once more, she seemed to Xyxer as if she was actually getting upset. Most of the time, this would be the perfect opportunity to highlight a person's flaws, striking at their greatest weaknesses to tear them open and leave them vulnerable before pretending you like them just the way they are. It was a common technique to get with people, but it wasn't very good for the conscience. Unless, of course, you did not have one. Regardless, Xyxer felt as if that action may be.. wrong. He was unsure why, but perhaps he should not attempt that with his current companion. Smiling a little, he spoke a little softer as if to try and change the subject, "Why a bar anyway? Are you trying to get me drunk, Rakka?" He turned towards her again, grinning, "That's awfully straightforward of you."

Rakka cocked her head slightly at Xyxer's answer. Apparently, they were closet brothers, or nobody bothered to say that in the reports. She could of sworn they weren't... Eh, whatever. No big deal, she supposed.
"I had no idea." She said simply, shrugging. "The reports didn't mention you two being related." She explained. He explained simply that everyone had their flaws, and realizing his own mortality was only healthy. Rakka raised an eyebrow in mock surprise. "That's awfully out of character for a leader of a village to say. Most believe themselves gods, at least in one way or another... At least, that's what I've observed, and I've lived under five different Kage." She observed, nodding at him. "Though my memory is admittedly fuzzy on the first one." She added.

"Me? Upset? I mean, you only called me a traitor a few times..." She joked, shrugging it off. "I wouldn't have called it banter." She added. "But, I appreciate your attempts at conversation. I don't get much of that, these days..." She said, sighing.

Xyxer seemed to think he'd be remembered for resurrecting the mist, as she had predicted. Perhaps the people would think otherwise. He seemed to realize this, as he soon asked her what the ninja said about him. Well, this was awkward.
"Err... To be perfectly honest, Xyxer, I don't get out much. I don't interact much with the other ninja, at least, I didn't until recently. It's not hard to see, though. Tengakure followed you across nations to build this one. That's either fanatical loyalty, or crushing fear." She said, as they approached the town, watching the people go about their business. "They say it's better to be feared then loved, if not both. I don't know if you're aiming for 'both,' but you've got a good start, to say the least." She joked, pushing Xyxer's arm back playfully in retaliation.

"I mean, I suppose you tried, at least." She teased, as they reached the streets of Kirigakure. Xyxer asked her why she wanted to go to a bar, implying that she wanted to get him drunk. "No, actually, I was hoping you would get me drunk." She explained sarcastically. "And by that I mean, cover the tab." She added, winking. She was, for all intents and purposes, absolutely broke at the moment, at least until her next mission, and she needed a pick-me-up.

Follow the wood [P] - Page 2 Empty Re: Follow the wood [P]

"You should feel special, you're one of only a few to know, including ourselves." He chuckled a little at what Rakka had to say afterwards, adding on, "I do believe myself to great, after all if I don't believe that then neither will my shinobi. Would you rather follow a simple guy called Joe into a battle where he believes it is lost, or a shinobi who thoroughly believes in both his own skill and that of his shinobi? After all, we may be mortal, but we still have to inspire our subordinates, and telling them they're immortal is foolish." Xyxer chuckled once more at the idea of a squadron of warriors charging headlong into battle believing themselves to be immortal, reality flashing before their eyes in crimson geysers as they realised the error of their ways, "In my view, mortality is the greatest gift a leader can remind their people of. They won't take things for granted, every experience a delight to their senses.. immortality just seems boring really, so being a god would be rather dull." He had dragged that on for a little while, and was somewhat surprised in himself. He was usually a listener unless required, after all, that is how you learn the information to toy with people.

After that, the girl seemed to turn sad again, adding that she didn't consider it banter. It appeared Xyxer's definition of banter had been seriously skewered, and perhaps that explained why children cried when Xyxer engaged in banter with them, informing them of their parents deaths and providing the dental records to prove it. "That's understandable, Rakka. After all, when people look at you they just freeze up, dont they?" Grinning, he added on, "Was that better than the other ones then? Still need work?" His grin fell into a satisfied smile, nodding his head, "I liked it."

She spoke about how Xyxer had united the people under either fear or adoration, and surprisingly he was unsure himself on which frontier it was. How well hidden were the rumours of his tortures? Did they praise the absence of crime in his presence? It was a very interesting topic, and one Xyxer was about to go about in his head before something strange occurred. He found himself strafing to the side, but his legs were not following. Strange, this hadn't happened before. He found the world slowly turning on it's side, and the view amused him so much he started to laugh. It was around about this point that Xyxer realised while he had been walking, Rakka had shoved his arm with one foot off the ground and while his center of mass was rather unstable. Landing with a thump on the side of the road, he paused for a moment in temporary shock, looking up towards the girl slowly before declaring once more, "It appears I've fell for you once more, Rakka." Even throwing in a cheeky wink to accompany it. He had done it! Two pick up lines in such a short period? He was a pick up artist, a genius! Bursting out into laughter, because of both the humiliating situation and the corny line, he pushed himself back up once more before continuing the pace the two had set.

Apparently, the first thing you do when knocking out the kage is to slyly persuade them to buy you alcohol. Clearly, this had been no chance meeting. She had scoped him out and had financially assassinated him, aiming to get him to get her drunk. A weird proposal, true, but it was honest at least. "Why drinking then? We could be swimming! Drinking water! Holding our breath under water! Dancing in the rain! Such fun activities. Unless, of course, you suddenly become funny when you're drunk?" He turned to look at her again, his lips pulled up smugly.

Rakka cocked her head, confused.
"You keep your relations a secret?" She asked. "What good could that serve? Would he be targeted if it was made known?" She asked, seeking clarification. Xyxer expressed his own beliefs about mortality, citing it as the greatest thing to remind his villagers of. "I agree." She said simply, until Xyxer expressed his boredom with the idea of immortality. "Well, the world would keep changing, wouldn't it? You'd never run out of new things to do. You'd have all the time in the world to experience everything, every little detail of the world. I think it would be grand." She said, a little dreamily. "Then again, I am just a mortal myself. Maybe we weren't meant to comprehend immortality." She added.

Xyxer seemed to be going back to his pickup lines, a quaint little pun about ice for her troubles.
"Wow, that was great!" She said sarcastically, flipping her hair for emphasis in mock excitement. "I've never heard a joke about ice before!" She finished, cold shouldering once again, no pun intended. "I'd be a little more Of course, she made it clear she was just playing at this point, she had no desire to forgo the company she had. It had been awhile since Rakka had a nice conversation like this. She was a little surprised as Xyxer fell right over when she pushed him. She wasn't even that strong, she expected a little more resilience from somebody who carried around a sword that size.

Once again, Xyxer attempted to use that same line, "I've fallen for you," and this time, Rakka actually laughed. It was horrible, cheesy, and unoriginal, but it was pretty damn funny all the same.
"I'm not laughing because it was a good line. I'm laughing because you fell." She lied, not wanting Xyxer to get any ideas. Don't let it go to your head." She added.

Rakka smirked at Xyxer's question and his little quip about her being funny when she's drunk.
"No, but your jokes might not suck as much if I'm impaired." She responded, hoping to see that smug smile wiped off his face. "Really like water, do you?" She asked casually, in response to his incessant desire to swim

Perhaps it was difficult for others to understand the mentality of Xyxer. Moreso since he thought like an ANBU Captain more than an actual leader, which was a problem he still had to work on. Scratching the side of his neck, he spoke further on the topic, "The life of a Kage is dangerous for all who are involved in it. If you can not kill the main problem, you kill the closest thing to them to destroy them emotionally, or at least, mentally." Shrugging his shoulders a little, he continued, "I don't believe Takeo would be able to forgive me if I was the cause of hi- our family's death. As far as anyone else is concerned at the moment, I'm simply of the Gyojin clan, one that was wiped out during the destruction of Kirigakure." That was largely a lie, as he knew his actual adopted family had been killed before that, but the clan? He'd only have to hope. Listening to the girl express her dream of immortality, he paused for a moment before turning to look at her, "You live to see your family die; your friends. In your case, you'll probably even find a new Demetri." Remembering the antics of Tengakure, he chuckled a little, "Or maybe you'll end up as a village's guinea pig with your inability to die."

The sass was indeed a powerful ally of Rakka's, and she utilised it constantly. Clear disregard for his great line. A smirk formed on his features once more as he spoke, "I know you liked it, Rakka, no need to try and hide your blushing with false enthusiasm." He had turned away from her by this point so that he didn't walk into a random passerby, but his words continued to flow, "Red's difficult to conceal on porcelain skin."

Rakka had decided to make it clear that she was laughing at his absence of balance, which only highlighted the area she actually found funny. He allowed himself to grin, a reward for his efforts at last. "Don't worry, I have plenty more where that's from. I've been in Tengakure after all, and I'll be damned if I haven't learned anything." He was about to come up with another quip before he realised he had forgotten something. His ego had surfaced when she had spoke of his success as a leader in moving a nation, but she had mentioned off handedly that she was barely social. "And why's that? The barely going outside part. At the moment I'm just assuming you have constant hangovers, but I thought it's best to let you explain for yourself. I sure hope it's not because your friends before the village was mine left?" Although, something told Xyxer that perhaps her sass was overwhelming for some people, albeit amusing to him.

A left jab with her retaliation about jokes, he decided to copy her fake emotions, after all, most of his were fake anyway. A mock scowl came upon his features, sulking before she mentioned the part about water. He had been preparing for this, and as soon as she thought the terrible pick up lines were over with, he would blindside her with another one. "I thought it was the politest way of seeing you in a bikini." It was around about this point that Xyxer would expect the slap, so embracing his nature, he turned towards her and grinned, wondering whether she hit harder or weaker than the other girls he had managed to piss off.

Follow the wood [P] - Page 2 Empty Re: Follow the wood [P]

Rakka listened with sympathy to Xyxer's explanation. She had killed for her family before, so she could understand his desire to protect them. Although, ultimately, it seemed to draw to the same end, at least for her. Maybe he knew that too. Maybe that made him fear for Takeo more. She knew how it felt to lose a loved one, in fact, she knew loss quite well. She could sympathize with that. This thought would lead them to the door of Rakka's favorite bar, a quaint little place with a sign in the door and bustle and chatter carrying on from the inside. Rakka would hold the door open for Xyxer politely.
"Ladies first, right?" She jibed sarcastically, waiting for him to enter.

His response on her dreams for immortality was ironic, considering her previous thought.
"Unfortunately, I've already the first two happen once or twice." She said darkly, sitting down at an empty table and gesturing for the bartender, who perked up immediately upon recognizing the Mizukage. He veered over to them, clutching a notepad and asking for their drink orders. "I'll have a whiskey sour, please." She would say, not breaking the stride of her conversation. "People like him will always appear. That's a big part of why I've wandered for so long. There was always someone like Demetri." She agreed, nodding assent. "However, I've learned that there's also always a bigger fish. A Demetri won't ever last long." She digressed, leaning back in the chair.

She shuddered a little in mock disgust. "I hope they at least get more creative." She sighed, as her drink was set down in front of her. She stirred the ice cubes idly as Xyxer inquired about her habits as a shut in. "I mean, technically, yes, they did leave, although I don't know if Naoki can even be considered a friend... Truth be told, I just haven't got many people to talk to. I decided to just study fuinjutsu in my down time, well, when I'm not here, of course." She said, as if it were obvious. "There isn't much reason to go outside when there isn't anyone to see. My family is dead. My friends disappeared one way or another, one by one." She said, thinking back to her time with Korosu... Ah, what she wouldn't give to see her friend again.

Just when Rakka thought she was safe from the bad pickup attempts, Xyxer trumped himself again. Jesus, how far was he going to take it before he gave up? Do you get any funnier when you're drunk?" She asked coldly. He turned forwards, leaning towards Rakka as if to make his cheek a target, and Rakka just stared.
"What, are you expecting a kiss? Keep it in your pants, Xyxer." She teased, taking a long drink.
