Put the Thing in the Thing

After Yumi said her goodbyes and wished the students well, the young genin then raced back to the Ninja Headquarters to claim her mission rewards. She also wished to barrow a jutsu scroll form the headquarters' library. Permission was granted and Yumi went to the Fuinjutsu section. She needed a simpler way of carrying her puppet around. Yumi scoured the shelves until finally she found was she was looking for.
Ah, there it is – the Generic Sealing Technique, Yumi thought as she reached up to grab the scroll.
With the jutsu scroll in hand, Yumi walked out of the Ninja Headquarters and waved at the front desk nin.
”You better return that scroll in a timely fashion, Little Girly. And when you do, I'll have another mission lined up for you!” the front desk ninja grumbled.
”Don't worry I'll be back before you know it!” Yumi hastily replied.
Yumi scurried on over the the ninja shop and looked at all they had in stock. Yumi needed a scroll for sealing. A big one. She need a big scroll to seal her big puppet. That was her eleven year old thought process anyway. She also bought a regular sized one and decided that was enough shopping for one day. She desperately needed to learn the sealing technique as she was not going to walk her puppet everywhere she went. The villagers seemed to be quite frightened by it!
The best place to learn new jutsu was in the training grounds so that was were Yumi decided to go. She could set everything down in a wide area and still have plenty of room to work with and more. Yumi sat down in the sand and opened the jutsu scroll to have a look. To her surprise the technique did not require any hand seals at all. What it did require however was a special symbol. In fact it required many special characters and special placement as the design was suppose to be written upon the scroll. Yumi took note of these markings and decided to copy them down in her sketchbook so that she could refer to it without constantly needing to barrow the jutsu scroll.
Next Yumi undid her bought scrolls and took out a vial of ink and a brush from her person. She then carefully matched the design making sure to use the proper characters that would match what it was she was going to be sealing in each scroll. The characters used to seal her puppet was slightly different than the characters used to seal her kunai. When she was done, Yumi procured a rag from her person and whipped off any excess ink that still clung to her brush before puppet it away. She also re-corked her ink vial and tuck it away as well.
Right, now that the symbols are dry, I have to place the items on top of each scroll and will them in, Yumi thought as she peered at her hand work.
Yumi placed all of her kunai on the small scroll, and dragged her hawk puppet over and placed it upon the larger scroll.
”Okay, in ya go,” she told her items.
And in a puff of smoke her items disappeared. Yumi rolled up her scrolls and stuffed her smaller scroll in one of her weapon's pouches. With a piece of cloth, Yumi tied a shoulder strap and tied it to her bigger scroll.
Ha! That was much easier than I figured it would be. I like it! Better take this jutsu scroll back to headquarters. That front desk nin was pretty grumpy.
Yumi then casually walked out of the training grounds to drop off the jutsu scroll. Today was a successful day.
