Human Limitations [p,nk,Nyguyen]

Oh, right. As it happened, Kozai had forgotten to introduce himself, which was something that occurred quite frequently these days. Turning to the kid, he'd give what looked to (finally) be a friendly, encouraging smile, though it took quite a bit of self-awareness on his part. He'd been told before that his smile always looked cold and aloof, so he tried to keep that out of it this time around. 

"It's Kozai Yuki." The kid was probably too young to recognize the name of an obscure kage from an obscure village, but Kozai wasn't really one to hide his identity anymore. He was strong enough to deal with anyone who wanted to come after him. It was good that the kid was drinking a lot, too. Water was consumed in catabolism through a deceptively simple process called hydrolysis. Water was consumed and split in order to dissolve the covalent bonds between two molecules, say, two amino acids in a protein chain. Of course, this occured in other polymers, such as sugars. However, it needed enzymes, which were basically organic catalysts. 

"We'll head back when you're ready. I'm sorry for not introducing myself before..." It was a bad habit that Kozai really needed to get rid of.

Kozai Yuki. It was a nice name Sasuke thought to himself. The word Yuki meant ice and so Sasuke couldn't help but wonder if that had something to do with his skill set. " Its no problem...Kozai Sensei" he said with a smile. It was a happy feeling that he could have someone to help train him and bring his abilities up to speed. It was an enjoyable thing and he wanted nothing more than to let it continue. Sasuke took some time to catch his breath. He took a few more sips of the water and handed it back to Kozai. He stretched a bit and then stood up straight indicating that he was ready to go. "I'm ready to head back"

Kozai had never really cared about the Yuki clan much. To him, it meant a past that he had already cast aside. If he met another clan member, he would feel no kinship towards them, but rather, his usual cynicism. Humans were just humans, after all, and the Yuki kekkei genkai wasn't anything special. Kozai remembered how amazed he had felt when he had first gained the ability to use ice release. That feeling had long since faded. It was just another bloodline to him now. What interested him more was the sharingan, and exactly what he could make it into. 

That aside, though, he nodded at Sasuke.

"Alright then, let's go." With that, he hopped off of the wall and landed gently on a nearby rooftop. He remembered Lucian having issues with going over roofs, but Kozai had no such qualms. Who would dare to object to him? With that, they would soon arrive back at the library. 

"If you train yourself like that, your physical energy should soon be powerful enough for you to coax up at least a little bit of chakra." Kozai spoke, considering the boy's wind nature. Hmm, he couldn't do anything there yet, but he could try and teach the kid something else.

"Tell ya what, while you work on your energies, there's something I'd like to give you." Retrieving a scroll, he'd scribble down something on it, and tossed it to Sasuke. 

"On that, you'll find directions on how to learn the gale palm technique. Study it, and I'm sure you'll find success. By the way, now that... uh... you're kind of my student, I've been thinking. Those who join my squad also get a volunteer position at the library. Prevents the elders from demolishing it, and such. When you come back here tomorrow to start, you're free to read any of the technique books around. Knowledge is power, after all, and I'd feel bad withholding any of it from you."

Sasuke followed Kozai down from the wall onto the rooftops. He listened patiently as Kozai explained what his duties were as a student. He was expected to volunteer at the library where he could probably find more information about various techniques that would be helpful to him. Sasuke caught the scroll tossed at him and repeated what his new leader had told him. "Knowledge is power...Got it!".

"Alright then. In that case, I will leave you. You did well today." It was the first encouraging thing that Kozai had said in a while. He'd rarely seen someone so excited to learn from HIM, of all people. He thought that this Sasuke might be like that other kid (Daiko, by the way), who had come to visit but who had seemed rather intimidated. It was nice to not scare people off, he thought as he wandered away, thinking about the insights into wind that he had gained, the swirling and spherical nature of it.

Sasuke beamed with pride and when his Sensei left he jumped around like an excited young kid. He had a new Sensei all to himself! And he had done well today! Sasuke jumped around like a kid on a holiday. He ran straight home with his new scroll and would tell his family about it over dinner. It truly was an exciting time for the genin.
