Kaguya DNA... how hard could it be to get the damn thing to bond? Kozai had no idea how long it would take, but he was willing to give quite a bit to force it to happen. However, after continuous uses of Seisei, Kozai knew that he just had to leave it up to his normal repair mechanisms... or did he? He was a skilled medical ninja, and his knowledge of the human body far surpassed anyone else in that village, perhaps even Den and Aki. He should be proud of this, he knew, but he actually felt pretty bad. Why hadn't he been able to do anything so far? It wasn't like he was incompetent or anything, but he knew that these things took time. So, he began thinking about how to speed things up. Kaguya DNA, he knew, had something to do not just with bones, but with calcification. Beyond that, there was strengthening of the body itself. It was perfect for a physical fighter like him, but he just needed to get it to bond. Frustrating, was it not? Kozai just so happened to be sitting in his room at the moment, trying out some of the food that Aki had sent him. Not bad.
Taking his mind off of the problems of DNA, Kozai got to work improving his medical skills. He had gained quite a bit of knowledge into the function of poisons recently, especially with a good look over of his current poison of choice, the enterocytotoxin. What a mouthful it would be for people who weren't into the whole medical thing. Learning biology gave Kozai certain skills, such as going hard in the paint when it came to long names. Education had its uses, Kozai knew. Knowledge was power, and power could get a person VERY, VERY far in life.
When it came to other people, though, Kozai found himself in a tough spot. The way he acted, the way he presented himself... it was just too different for the normal population of Hoshi. Aki didn't seem to have a problem with it, but he knew that she was just putting up with him for now. Whether or not she had plans for him was a different question entirely, though Kozai suspected that she didn't. After all, he had Denkiteki's memories to help him out here. No, Aki could probably be trusted, though Kozai's senses were still tingling with cynicism.
He'd been through too much to trust people THAT easily. Anyways, it was worth noting that Kozai had now reached the stage where he could easily do calculations involving organic synthesis with ease. It was, thus, with a good and happy state of mind that he proceeded to think about how he could replicate these effects outside of the actual toxin function itself. He knew of a certain medical jutsu that he could try to practice, but it was something new to him, this poison business. He'd really only looked into it once or twice, which embarrassed him quite a bit. He'd have to be ready to refresh his body at any time.
