Friends? (mason, aya, closed)

Aya was shocked by the time the jutsu was canceled. She gasped fr breath only to feel the intense heat. She looked up and nearly burned her eyes. There was a huge fireball in the sky. It couldn't be possible! It was bigger than the village! There couldn't be a jutsu that strong. But the heat was so convincing. Why the hell was Orokana trying to destroy the freaking Village. What the hell was his problem.

Aya looked to Mason, trying to read his reaction, only to see Orokana suddenly appear behind him, drawing his sword. What the hell.

Aya acted on impulse. She didn't know where the sword would land but she didn't want to find out. She couldn't let a friend die, especially not by the hands of another friend. Though their death was inevitable, it would be less painful to burn fast than bleed out. She felt powerless to stop the jutsu that would annihilate the village, but at least she could make it easier on them.

Aya ran toward mason at a speed of 20 and as the blow landed, she got between the two and hurriedly kicked at orokana, aiming for the chest with a strength of 22 and speed of 40. She hoped it would hit him.

Aya then saw the Naka river close by, less than 30 meters away. This was the river she always trained in and had fought Mason at. Aya made up her mind and would grab Mason's arm, running at a speed of 20, hoping Mase could run faster. She jumped into the river and swam down and as the fireball would become closer to the ground, the fire would dissipate at the water, and the Naka river ran deep so they could easily get deep enough down to where the water would stay cool. Aya hoped Mase would join her. Being wet also made a good defense for fire-related ninjutsu in case oro had any. Sitting in the water was also a good way to avoid fatal lightning strikes because she was not grounded. (ninjutsu can still be used to cause damage with no buffer, this is just her logic)

This was the only way Aya could think to evade this attack, even if it was cowardly to try and spare her own life at the expense of the village, but there was literally no way to stop it and she wasn't ready to die yet.

Once deep underwater, Aya attempted the medical ninjutsu again, he hand beginning to glow blue. It dissipated near immediately, but instead of breaking off the jutsu as she had when training before, she adjusted the flow of her chakra, continuing to run it out of her hand. She remained calm and continued the steadily outflow. Suddenly her hand began to glow blue once she adjusted to a certain level, and a brighter blue than it had before. Aya could practically use it as a dim light in the depths of the water. Aya would need to test if it was working soon, so she scratched a small salmon with a shuriken she drew out of her weapon pouch. She then reached out gingerly to grasp the same fish, though it was not happy with her and tried to get away. Its slimy body wriggling free from her grasp each time. She eventually caught it by its caudal fin, pissing the fish off further. While holding the fish , she placed her hand against it and the scratch healed and scabbed over. All this time Aya had spent in the water, her ability to hold her breath had improved, so she was down there a couple minutes, swimming easily against the current and letting the grasped fish go. It turned back around and chased her in an attempt to bite her, but she got away. She put her shuriken back into her weapons pouch, and joined the current, swimming downstream. As she moved downstream, she attempted to use the chakra scapel again, forcing the chakra out of her fingertips, though it did not take on the form she had planned and expected. ultimately it was a huge fail, though learning the medical ninjutsu increased her concept of chakra control.

(the issue is, either i have using speed wrong in "then used battojutsu. (+20 speed and +20 strength. sharpness is now 81, reaction time is now 120) and Orokana stabbed mason in the side. not in a spot where it could kill but it would hurt. it cut threw flesh easily. in case he tried to counter attack. Orokana his other had in the air. casting lightning rod. (power 19) if mason tried to counter attack him he would be in for a shocking surprise." which came across as i was moving at a speed of 1 for aya. i said that didnt make sense and i saw what i was doing and how fast. she said no. now if she is right then i either misread something in the rules or it wasnt clear to me, bc i looked up if what i was doing was right or not and all signs pointed to yes.)

Mason expected Oro to use another genjutsu, but not one like this. There was a big ass fireball, falling from the sky fast as fuck. Thanks to his sharingan he could see through it, he knew there was a way to break genjutsu using his sharingan, all he had to do was channel chakra through his eyes. He could already see through the jutsu, but after he channeled the chakra through his eyes, the fireball was gone, and he wasn't getting toasted. "Fuck, that was close." Mason would say, he'd look over to Ayame, seeing that she was still under it. He had feelings for Ayame some of whitch he doesn't understand yet, but he knew already he'd be willing to do much more than he should to protect her, and it pained him to see her in pain, he activated his Wind Glaive, when he saw her running at him. Why was she running at him? That's when he noticed Oro wasn't in his original position. He could see the fear on his face, that's when he heard the sword coming out of its scabbard. "Fuck this." Is what Mason thought he'd body flicker at a speed of 97 right behind Ayame. "I'll go with you Ayame." Mason would say trying to keep his cool.

He'd take her arm and run basically dragging her with him to the river at a speed of 45. "Were going in?" Mason would say as Ayame, had picked the direction to run in, he'd start to channel chakra though Ayame, to hopefully break the genjutsu the chakra amount would be about 68. Before going in Mason would smile and say " I'll try and slow him down, you can hide if you want, I care about you so don't get yourself hurt, yell if you need me, keep safe." Mason would body flicker at a speed of 97 towards a near by tree branch to come up with a decent plan hopefully.

Orokana watched them and put his sword away and yawned. "you guys need to learn when its a genjutsu or not, like I would summon a giant fire ball from the sky, that would kill myself." he said. as he shrugged. then as mason used body flicker Orokana used his body flicker (speed 140) to get closer to the river, everyone was now within 10 meters of him. then tiger hand seal.  all of them being in the 10 meters he used Bringer of Darkness for aya she would be unable to see anything. she would be lost in a world of darkness. for mason, since he had tomoe 3 he would be able too see a bit, but he would be unable too see colours. only outlines of everything. like trying too see in the middle of the night in your home with no lights on. Orokana noted there panic. he could use this greatly. he thought about going after aya, but she wouldn't be able to do anything. so he followed mason with his eyes. noted where he was going, what he was doing. Orokana smiled. they are both in a world of darkness, Orokana used body flicker again and got 20 meters away from mason. Orokana had two plans for what mason might do. "hey mason lets make this more fun, I wont use body flicker if you wont." he said with a smirk on his face. but he readied his left hand on his sheath, ready to act.

Aya was out of range by the time oro had cast the jutsu, due to the river pushing her downstream. When Aya finally came up for breath, gasping and trying not to be pulled under again. TReading water, she made her way over to the bank (this is like 500 meters away if not more). There she sat for a bit, trying to recover what she could.

She took a deep breath, drawing in as much energy as she could. While focusing her energy into her hands, she stood up and trudged to a tree, waiting for her hands to glow blue like they had before. "Come on..." She whispered. "Please work for me... please" she whispered, slowly extending the chakra beyond her fingertips. Suddenly it snapped off and her hand returned to normal. She was so close!

His vision was dark, he has known this feeling before, getting up to eat when his family were still alive, and this is the vision he had in the nightmares that haunted him about his family, it was almost complete darkness just enough to see the objects outline. When he heard Oro's proposition about not using Body Flicker, and he won't either. "Your insane to ask me that, but if you release this I'll agree, but I will fight you anyways." Mason would say with a smile on his face, and little to no emotion in his voice. He withdrew a kunai from his back pouch. "If I get cut, I am going to mighty pissed off, I don't know if I could control myself if that happened." Mason thought to himself. He traveled in the direction of Oro's voice. His Wind Glaive and Sharingan were still active. He moved his kunai to his left hand and withdrew another for his right hand. "I hope double Kunai will be good enough." Mason thought to himself. "Fight me with just your sword, no more lightning bull shit like last time!" Mason would yell before running at a speed of 45.

He saw the out line of Oro, he raised his left kunai up and would slash down with a speed and power of 20, and with his right kunai he would make a horizontal swipe with a speed and power of 20 as well. If Oro brought his katana out and blocked one, the other one would slice him. The one that Oro would block with Mason would hold there trying to keep his katana there.

Orokana smiled at mason. "well mason I would love to stay and play, but sadly I am out." he said with a bit of cockiness in his voice, and he used body flicker to get away, far, going as far as he can. about 200 meters and then started running. he was bored of fighting mason. it was not a tough thing to do so he wanted to leave and use his time on things that would matter. Orokana would make his way with a speed of 20. once he would get far enough away he would start walking again.

Ayame decided to start sneaking her way back to where the boys would be and seeing Mason, she came out into the open not seeing oro and if mason had an expression she would sense something was off and ask "What happened?" Ayame focused a bunch of chakra into her hand again focusing on sharpening it. The chakra glow was just as it was described, and inch around her hand, but she couldn't sharpen it enough. She sliced at a nearby tree, unable to cause a single abrasion to it.

"Mason can we work on this?" She asked motioning to her hand. "I would like to learn the chakra scalpel technique but i cannot cut anything." before it became awkward, she noted, "No i dont want to cut you, but i do want you to use a kunai to block me. I'll go slow if you'd like. how does a speed of 15 sound?" She asked assuming he would accept. "Also could you teach me some jutsu?" She said this all in assumption that the spar between orokana and them had ended.
