Friends? (mason, aya, closed)

Mason was surprised that Oro would run away when he had such an advantage, but he just left after basically calling him weak. Mason would be more than a little upset about Oro leaving, he thought the scrap was going decently. He saw Ayame walk soon after Oro had left, he had already put his kunai away, when he heard her question. "I don't know exactly what happened, but he ran away after calling me weak." Mason would say confused, the words sounded weird coming out of his mouth.

After hearing Ayame's proposition it didn't take him long at all to find an answer "Ummmm sure, I guess I can block whatever that was, and yes I can teach you some jutsu." Mason said as he was reaching back for a kunai. He held the kunai up ready for her to come at him in anyway possible, especially with his three tomoe sharingan still activated.

Aya walked over and focused the chakra into her hand, running through her arm. Ayame's hand picked up her usual blue glow, especially for this tecnique. She worked on sharpening it, focusing the flow in her hand and imagining a knife, then a beautiful katana, and a delicate tessen, all sharp and deadly. She focused the energy into her other hand as well, still envisioning scalpels and senbon, usually sharp things. As she tried to sharpen the chakra, it glowed out to about an inch past her fingertips. She had that part down-pat. As she focused, she decided to talk to Mason.

"I've been doing some thinking lately..." She started quietly. "I don't know how much longer I want to be here, as in konoha. I'm not saying that I wanna run away, but I am saying that I do want to visit where Kiri used to be... to see if I can find anything about my Family's past there." She was solemn in this, and being a genin she didn't think that she shouldn't be talking about this. "I mean, I love konoha, I really do. I just... I guess I want something more."

At that, She felt as if this was as sharp as her chakra was going to get for the time being. Ayame smiled sweetly and asked, "Are you ready Mase?" She asked, and after his response, if he felt like responding, that is, she ran at him and slashed at him with her hands. She then flipped over him and attempted to give him a kick from behind, slashing at him again. She did this in non vital areas, and also all at a speed of 10, ensuring that he could block everything in time.

As she leaped back, she ran up a tree just to push off from it and attack, coming at his back, and if he had turned earlier, his front, attempting to slash in the chest or back area. If any of these attacks, all at speed 10, hit, they would be just minor abrasions. Aya then ran past him and pushed of from a rock and came at him again, going for the chest or back area.

Then the blue flames flickered out from her fingertips. Ayame, panting from the chakra usage, sat down a moment, catching her breath. "Wow, this one sure is taxing on me" she huffed, trying to keep a soft and chipper attitude. After a few moments, she caught her breath and stood up. "Ready for round two?" she asked delicately, stretching backwards a moment. After Mason's response, if he chose to respond, Aya lit her hands up again, glowing bright blue and sharpening much faster than it took her the first time.

Ayame ran at him again, but instead of attacking first. she ran past him to a tree to push off of and attack again.coming downward to try and slice at his forehead, the tip of the chakra blade being about an inch away from it (so it should not cut him at all), and then slashed at his chest again. Quickly she ducked and tried to swipe his feet out from under him with her legs.

Mason found it pretty cool, that Aya could create something so cool with just her chakra. Mason thought about what Ayame had said for a minute or so, before answering with "I know what you mean, I want to leave Konoha too, but for a much more selfish reason. I'm only here still because I still have one person I care about here, and I wouldn't want to desert them without them knowing that I care about them." He looked up at Ayame with a shy look, it was her that he still cared about, but he didn't want to drive her away with an proclamation. He had only just met her, but he couldn't get her out of his head, could it be possible that he could learn to love someone again?

Mason nodded when Ayame asked if he was ready, he got into a defensive stance and waited for her to make the first move. She ran at him, and slashed at him with a relatively low speed, he rolled out of the way of the first slash, and saw where she had jumped, ducking out of the way. He didn't expect her to hump off of the tree, resulting in all of her attacks hitting him. They didn't hurt that much at all, but he could see blood coming from his chest, and a slash mark in his favorite shirt.

Mason could see how taxing the jutsu was on Ayame, and asked "We can take a break if you want?" After seeing her get up and her asking if he wanted to go again, he nodded once more. He saw her rush past him towards a tree. "That won't work again." Mason exclaimed. He jumped up four meters into the air, and did a back flip coming down. Dodging all of her attacks. "You wanna try that again?" Mason would ask with a grin on his face.

Aya smirked at his comment. Then asked "Oh, really? Who is that?" She asked genuinely about who he cared about that much. "And I wish you luck wherever you go. If you head out to where Kiri used to be make sure you check for relics from my clan. I would like to know what happened to them, anything and everything you can find." She spoke confidently as if this would be their last meeting. Truth be told she would try to stop him on the night he plans to leave, but if he would be so certain to break out, she would want him to know what she wanted him to do if he had the time.

She walked over closer to him and lit her hand up blue again, using an E-rank Healing jutsu. she spoke softly, "Hold still" before she started to heal his small cuts. she smiled at him as she worked and started, "I still would like to know your reason, even if it be selfish." She said softly as she worked around to his arms, the wound on his chest healing in minutes if he would allow her to heal him. As she finished healing him, she waited for him to finish talking if he had decided to respond.

Ayame then backed up slowly focusing her energy into her hand again, sharpening it like a knife, thinking of it as a weapon, though it is literally an extension of her body. "Next time please block instead of dodging" She said curious as to if this technique would make a clinking noise when she his one of his weapons.

Ayame ran at him at a speed of 10, and attempted something new, a taijutsu technique that she originally wanted to try on Orokana. But oro had left calling Mason a weakling. So now Mason gets to be the guinea pig. As Aya ran she prepared herself. She kicked highly, barely above his head and then attempted to  sweep him with a low kick, at a strength enough to knock him over gently if it would hit.

Aya then ran over to a tree again, smiling. Instead of flipping and pushing off of it she ran all the way to the top and then jumped off onto another nearby tree. She then turned and leaped off the branch  aiming to land on the ground nearby Mason, and once she did, she came at him with the hardened blades of her hands, swiping a bit deeper now, hoping he could keep up with her. She still remained at her speed of ten so as to not hurt him seriously or throw him off too bad.

First she swiped at his arm and turned her back to him in an instant, jumping and bringing her other leg around to knock him over, if it hit. She then flipped backwards and away from him before rushing him again, both hands lit up. She did an attack, diving at him and swiveling around herself, her arms almost like the point of the drill. She was going so slow that this was easily dodge able. Landing on her feet behind Mason she ran at him again, slashing at his chest and his face, knowing that these hits would be easy to block, so she tried the taijutsu technique again after a final slash, Kicking high, Inches from his face and then sweeping low to knock him over. Leaf Hurricane was kind of hard to master, to be honest. She sucked at taijutsu, but she needed some sort of attacks to be able to do.

Ayame stopped then, the chakra flickering off from her hands. She fell to her knees panting again, this time laying on the cool grass and trying to catch her breath and build chakra again. She closed her eyes for a bit, just relaxing on the grass belly down and her face to the side, looking at Mason. She huffed a little and then smiled at the boy, "S-sorry... huff huff... I'll be ready to go in a minute." It wasn't just the chakra absorption from her jutsu that was paining her, it was also the fact that she was forcing D ranked taijutsu moves out of her body, trying her absolute hardest to learn something... anything that could be used to attack. She huffed a bit more and then pushed herself up to a sit, still panting and trying to catch her breath. "H-hey, t-thanks for... huff huff... training with me." She huffed again after her sentence was finished. "It... huff huff... must be boring to just... huff... defend against me." Ayame then Activated her level two Yureigan, thinking she would be able to level this up as well. Her Eyes grew entirely black as she focused on Mason's outline.

Waiting for a minute more, she stood herself up, shaking a bit from working herself over a bit hard. It didn't mean she was going to give up though. She smiled and built her chakra up again, sending it to her hands and warning Mason, "I'm gonna come at you again"

Ayame then ran at the boy, her hands having a lack of blue glow. She couldn't build up enough chakra for the moment, so she just ran and tried the Leaf Hurricane move again, kicking high and then swiping. Mason probably caught on by now, but she hoped she could land a light hit with it. She then flipped backwards, building her chakra to the level it was before and sharpening it intensely. She swiped at him and then followed through with a kick to the neck area before coming back around with the other hand and sweeping with her other foot as the first one landed. She then stabbed off to the left of his head with her right hand ensuring that she would not hit him at all, but hoping he would block. Drawing back the hand she brough her right leg over in an attempt to hit him. She then jumped back, the charkra going out from her hands. "Need healing?" she asked unaware of how much hit him and how much he avoided. She plopped herself down into the grass, resting a little bit again. She noticed her aura spectrum increasing and becoming brighter, those that she could read anyhow.

Mason didn't know what to say he was nervous, he didn't know if he could tell her so easily that he cared about her, he was blushing, and when he'd speak his words would sound nervous like. "Well.....it's you....." Mason would say hoping she wouldn't cast him down for saying that. He was nervous about what she would say.

He allowed her to heal him with no problem, as his lacerations were starting to become an annoyance at that point. After hearing her ask if he could block instead of dodging he would nod. Mason saw her running at her, he still had his sharingan activated, so it seemed to be going into slow motion for him. He saw the weak high kick coming from miles away, and knew what was going to come next, he would duck down at a speed of 59, grabbing her leg leading her to fall. He'd catch her before she fell though putting her to the ground exactly after catching her. "I know the leaf whirlwind very well Ayame, that trick won't work on me." he'd say with a bit of confidence.

Mason saw her act of acrobatics and expected for her to attempt to lunge at him again, surprised that she didn't Ayame would cut his arm, he'd let out a small grunt of pain as it cut into his flesh. He was caught off guard by the trip as well, it bringing him to the ground. Mason getting up to his feet before Ayame would be able to notcie, blocked all of her furthermore attacks with his kunai dodging her initial move barely, which made a sort of a clang. Not expecting the leaf whirlwind after the flurry of hits, he jumped a meter into the air barely dodging the sweep.

He watched as Ayame called a break, he just wanted to help her he had no interest in learning anything from this. "It's alright, and it isn't that boring defending, sometimes the best offense is a good defense." Mason would say smiling at her.

He wasn't ready when Ayame ran at her, and the resulting leaf whirlwind actually hit him, sending him to the ground, he froze for just a little bit. He rolled out of the way of the kick coming at his neck, barely. He got to a crouching position before jumping up another two meters into the air dodging every other attack.

After hearing her ask if he needed healing he declined even though his arm was bleeding decently now. He looked at his arm again seeing how bloody it actually was quickly changing his opinion and agreeing to the offer of healing him.

Aya walked over and healed him using her medical ninjutsu and trying to rank it up. She then gave him a huge hug making him topple over, before gently smiling. She leaned into his ear to whisper something into it, before getting up and brushing herself off. "I am going to join the jounin exams, don't tell anyone... its a secret "

Aya's expression became downcast after saying that. Her voice grew quieter as she continued to speak. "I've had enough for tonight, Mase. I'll see you again soon... maybe this weekend?" she asked.

After waiting for his response, she turned and walked herself home, thinking about how she would accomplish such a feat, planning it slowly in her mind and smiling to herself.
