giichi caught the kunai that ryu's clone had threwn at him. 
" you can use the gale palm to also increase the speed of your thrown weapons. It works as an offense and a defense.”

giichi did what ryu was explaing he headed over to some training dummy and clapped his hands again, he threw the kunai at the dummy ,the gale of wind sent the kunai flying at a great speed going thought the dummy, the power and power that the kunai was going at was a lot stronger than what it would have been if he had just thrown it normally.

giichi  had cleary got the hang of thing, ryu's clone had said that it could teach giichi another jutsu  air bullet or wind glaive, he then went on to demonstrated both off them , giichi liked the look of air bullet but he wanted to learn wind glaive , he had heard of wind glaive and had seen in performed once befor when he was yunger, it seemed like a strong jutsu to learn but it was worth a try." i would like to learn wind glaive, it lookes like it could come in handy " he waited for ryu's clone to start the demonstration and tell him how to perform it.

ryu's clone went and got the kunai he said that he had done a good job ,learning the gale palm was a nice challage and giichii was happy that he got the hang of things.“ The wind glaive is a jutsu that raises your speed and chakra. To do that you need to flood wind chakra through your body .”

giichi thought about how much that would help, he was not very fast compared to his team 7 team mates , sakaiza was very fast, so compared to him he was like a snail, maybe it could help even out the playing field, " wow that seems like a very interesting jutsu ryu " he was surprised ryu was so strong, even though he was a genin he must have been on a jonnin level , it was a great thing too see how strong he could become himself one day.

ryu clone started the demonstration he waved no hand seals again all of a sudden his appearance started to change, his skin was changing color, his skin started to pale, giichi had not seen a passed away person before, but if he had to explain what it looked like then it would have been that of a dead person, his muscles started to shift like they where being pumped with chakra , he looked a lot more ripped compared to his normal state, he thought to him self * wow he lookes like a monster , what kinda jutsu could do such a thing * ryu said that it would change his appearance but he did not think that it would do something like this.

the clone rushed over to where the training dummy's where and pulled it from the ground , he then rushed back over in a blur , giichi had never seen anyone move so fast in his life, he then replanted to post's into the ground.  “Channel wind energy through your chakra network, it requires control so that the energy won’t escape. There are no hand seals for the jutsu.” giichi had already noticed that there where no hand seals, he thought how hard it was going to be to control the chakra after his body had started to change, he would need alot of concentration to not lose focus, it looked painful after all.

" does the transformation that the body goes under hurt at all ?"  he asked ryu's clone, he waited for the reply, he had hoped that there was no pain involved or at least not as painful as it looked, but he would still learn it either way, he wanted to move as fast as that and the chakra boost would help as well, it would let giichi harvest more Kikaichu making it even harder for a enemy to attack.

after ryu's clone had answered he would start the training , after all the real ryu was still training some jutsu of his own if he had finished or not at this point was unknown, giichi only spoke to the clone, as ryu was doing his own thing so he was not sure if he had finished at this point or not , giich started to do what ryu said, but did something that he thought would help, he first sat down on the floor, and put his hand in a meditation pose, he thought that it would help his concentration, he started gathering wind chakra, this time he never burst it out like the gale palm, this time he just left the chakra building up around his body, trying not to let any of the wind chakra escape, his Kikaichu seemed to love the fact his body was flowing with so much chakra, it felt like his skin was boiling, he noticed that it started to discolor, all his muscles started to look fuller, it started to look like he had got the hang of things but just like when he had done the galm palm he got happy, he ended up losing focus, he thought that if he could not keep it up while sitting still in a relaxed state then how was he going to do it in battle.

it showed that he still had a long way before he could use it to help things with team seven, but he did not mind it was his first go at the jutsu, in fact he found this a little easier than the gale palm, it was just the concentration part he had to get the hang of but he knew that if he kept practicing then he would get the hang of it, at this point he knew what he could do and with the guidance of ryu he felt like he could do anything, ryu being a genin made giichi want to improve, to see a genin at this level made giichi even more determined to succeed.

he started again he closed his eyes this time trying to focus, he filled his body with wind chakra again and kept building till his skin started to change color again this time he tried moving around and to think about different things, he wanted to be able to use the jutsu in a battle, he could not sit down and take a break in the middle of a battle so he started to move around and think of other things that would take him off his concentration, like what the rest of team seven where doing, he knew that they where going to look for a mission and that he was away training he wanted to show what he had learned while he was gone, every thing seemed okay, after a while he could keep the wind glaive going naturally like he was not even trying.

he stooped the jutsu and thought that he would have some water that he had with him and take a little brake he had kept the jutsu going for a while, so finally before showing how he actually could use it to the clone, he wanted to restore some chakra before going full speed.

Building up wind chakra the actual Ryu created three small blades of air and sent them forward. He knew he could perform the jutsu with a single blade. It was the three smaller ones that were hard to form properly, but this time when the blades sprung forth all of them were fully formed and traveled the appropriate distance before dissipating. "Well I have that jutsu down." Ryu said making his clone disappear, so that he could focus on Giichi himself. "So do you think you have the wind glaive, so that you can learn this jutsu?"

With the day, drawing to a close the genin was getting quite tired, as the Suna sun beat down on him. "Ahh, I'm getting pretty tired. I'm going to head home, the training grounds are always open and I tend to be here a lot, I will probably see you later." With that the kid headed towards the gates.
